What would it take for NBC to reconsider their action of pulling Andy Barker, PI? The number of viewers would certainly increase as the show went on. I think viewers are hesitant to become invested in a new show for fear that it will be pulled after the viewer has become attached to the characters, the story line, etc. Shame on NBC for not giving a fledgling show a chance.

Unless someone has some incriminating photos of NBC executives, I don't think there's much we can do. It is hard to build an audience for a show when it's aired a half-hour later one week and not at all the next week. People like me who work at night and record the shows miss out. I guess I should have known it wouldn't last because NBC said it would only air 5 of the 6 episodes produced (with the 6th available on NBC.com.)

This is a funny show, and I'll definitely miss it. Looking at the positive side: It was ended before it could jump the shark.

Come on NBC, give Andy another chance! This show was original, quirky, and hilarious. I think the people that like The Office would love this show too. Try running it right after and see your results. These shows would go hand in hand. Give My Name is Earl the crappy time slot!!



S.O.A. (Save Our Andy)

Like many other users who have posted on this message board, I am SOOOO disappointed that NBC canceled "Andy Barker P.I." They're now showing, what, "Scrubs" two or three times on Thursdays? Not that "Scrubs" isn't a good show (and I absolutely LOVE "30 Rock") but pleeeease, give us back "Andy Barker P.I." It was a great show.

I also liked "Studio 60..." but that got canned. And I can totally understand that since it has such a limited audience, but "Andy Barker P.I." is just. plain. fun. For everyone! And honestly, is there a "better", ground-breaking, side-splitting comedy in the works that we don't know about or are we just going to see "Scrubs" a bunch of times in one night??

I don't know how the world of TV programming works, but I hope that it gets a second chance. It's so wonderful. It deserves it!

Scrubs WAS a good show, but it has jumped the shark. Andy Barker, PI was the first show in a very long time that I LOVED from the first episode. It is a fun, witty show that my whole family likes to watch. I just started telling friends and family about it--it just needs a little more time to build a following. Please, please, please don't cancel it!

They gotta have another chance. It needs support. Lets show our love for the show. Anyone who wants Andy Barker on air write in!

It was a funny show already and had the chance at being great. Not all shows start out well. Seinfeld had a rough start, but the rest is history. By episode six i think the writers were getting their technique down and the style of show they wanted.
