Intro: Ethan Winthrop

In small, ocean front town of Harmony, Maine lives Ethan Winthrop, 18 with his father Sam Bennett with chief police Harmony and his wife and Ethan’s stepmother Grace. Before Ethan was born around 1975 his father met Ivy Winthrop she was rich, sweet and kind. It love at first sight. Anyways Sam and Ivy growing more in love everyday which the ended up making love where they first met on the beach which Ethan was convince,But after that perfect night on the beach, Ivy told Sam that she had to marry Julian Crane to protect to her father’s company and they has moved to New York City. Sam was heart broken got angry at Ivy for not telling in the first place and broke up with Ivy. In September 6 1988 Ethan was born. Ivy and Sam never saw each other again and Ivy married Julian and Sam tried to move with his life. Right before Ivy married Julian she found that she was pregnant with Sam’s baby but she told Julian that it was his. 10 years pass Ethan was little a spoiled boy but his life was going to change one rainy night Julian and Ivy were coming home a dinner party Julian was a little drunk after finding out that Ethan wasn’t his son then he end up going in front of another car which crashed into. Ivy died instantly on impact, Julian was in serious condition.
Ethan was heart broken that his mother was no longer coming home. Then one day at the hospital Ethan went to suppose father Julian but Julian ended up telling about Ivy secrete that he wasn’t his father and that Sam was. Ethan just couldn’t understand he lost his mother and he just lost the father he ever knew and gaining a father he never met or knew. After that day in hospital Ethan went to Harmony was put in Sam’s door step which Sam was shocked to believe that Ivy was died and that he had son. Ethan was soon to find out that Sam didn’t know that he was dad, also that he moved on with life by marrying Grace Standish and having three kids, Noah, Kay and Jessica. After 7 years the year it is 2005 things got easier with Ethan’s new family and he loved them more than ever and would do you anything to make them proud of him and He knew that his mother he would so happy for the new family that was brought into his life and when Ethan was 17 he went his mother grave with a daisy her flower and forgive for the lie she told because at least now he has time to get back years with his real dad.







Intro: Theresa Lopez Fitzgerald

Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald was born into rich family in May 10,1989. Theresa’s family was in the Mexican food business because both Theresa’s mom and Dad Pilar and Martin met in Mexico in 1970's which they met and build a restaurant they were a instance hit and began to national they decide to move American right after Luis and Miguel Theresa’s older brothers were. They decided to move to Harmony because Pilar was born there and that is where she spent the best years of childhood and she thought that would be the great place to raise her children. Once after a few years of living in Harmony put in a big mansion but on the top of a hill The Lopez Fitzgerald were living the life of luxury. In 1989 Theresa was born as Theresa began her life as the new Mexican heiress of harmony she was treated like royalty by the age 10 she in the front page of little bliss magazine feature in many commercials for her families restaurants.
Today Theresa is a High school senior having a full scholarship of UCA to study business management. So she could help with families business. She has younger sister Paloma who just turned 16 got her a new car. Her brothers’ Luis and Miguel, Luis is the deputy of chief of Harmony police is married to Sheridan Crane they have son Marty and Miguel is still single and has decided to be male model.She has best friend Whitney she knew since elementary school is by her side. Even though she has her family and friends by her side Theresa feels that something is missing in her she never had time to experience love like her brothers she is busy other things she has got chance to go out on a date since high school.But what Theresa doesn’t know is that she ends of meeting the man of dreams when she at least suspects it.



Chapter 1

Bump into the Beach

Every morning Ethan Winthrop always took his annually morning jog on the beach. As he was running he couldn’t something out of his head, a dream that he had last in his sleep. Then began to recall what about the dream was about he was running on the beach like was now but something was different about this run it was like he trying to catch someone but didn’t know who or why as he was there was this bright light flashing before him which made me stop. Then Ethan saw something else a woman she was beautiful one of the most beautiful women he has ever seen.

At first he thought it was his late mother Ivy but as he got a closer look he seen it was some around his age with dark long black hair with blue eyes and she was smiling at him saying "I’m waiting for you Ethan". Then he woke up. While Ethan was running trying to shake off what he had was just a dream nothing more. Anyways he wasn’t going to except to met the woman of his dreams today or any day if she really existed.

While Ethan was running through the beach, beautiful, and young heiress Theresa Lopez- Fitzgerald was just waking up from her beauty rest. She got a showered and dressing into a nice yellow with white sunflowers dress with sandals. Theresa went to the dinning room to see her father and mother across from each other eating breakfast. She both gave them a kiss morning on the cheek said

"Good Morning" to her parents

Then her mother said "So sweetie how do you sleep?"

Theresa replied with a little bagel in her mouth"Fine mama"

Her dad while looking at newspaper said "No talking with you food in your mouth"

She sallowed the bagel bit she said " Sorry"

"So what are you going to on your first day of summer vacation as High school graduate."her dad asked

"Actually I was thinking of going to our restaurant to see if everything working for tonight since one the leading food critic Vincent Demore is coming to see the restaurant tonight." Theresa replied

"That is my girl" Her dad said

Her mother said "Martin "

"What Honey that is what she wants to do she wants to help me." Martin said

Pilar said to Martin "I don’t she has been helpful these past summers this summer she going to have because you might know she might get the chance to do it again."

Theresa confused "What are referring to what you mean that I might not the chance to have fun again."

Her mother said "Nothing honey just promise today that you have fun do what you want to do, shopping, hang with Whitney, or maybe just take a talk on the beach barefoot let the sand go in between your toes.. Then later you’ll bring maybe a date to the restaurant if you."

"Mama, I don’t start with that again okay but I’ll do as you say I will take walk on the beach and then I will call Whitney to see if want to hang out and maybe come to restaurant with me later today alright." Theresa said

Her mother said "But what about bring a man friend."

Theresa sigh as she walked up to mother kissed her on the cheek and said "Don’t except anything mother."

Then she walked up to her papa gave him as kiss on the cheek as she said "I’ll see you later the restaurant"

Then Theresa as left the dinning room she yelled "I love to both of them as went out in the back way that lead to the beach. As Theresa left her mother Pilar got up from her seat went to window she looked at her walking out on the beach. Then Martin Theresa’s father came up beside Pilar hold her kissed her the cheek as they both at their daughter.

Martin said "I can’t believe you let her go. I needed to talked to her about her future.

Pilar said "I know but you can about her future later but just give her few weeks to let have fun live life because she growing up and making hard decisions. So for now letting be a fun, loving and normal girl."

As Theresa watched her family’s house faded faded away as continue she to walk on the beach her mind began to wonder as she looked at the ocean thinking how beautiful it was the water sparking as the sun was shining down on the water. That Theresa walk closer to ocean she felt the cold rush as put felt the water go on her feet. She about to go back home she around then Bam! A man bump right into knocking her into the sand on her which she got knocked for couple of seconds then open hers to see a handsome young man laying on top of her the man

"Oh Are you okay I’m so sorry."

"Well first off you get off me" Theresa replied

"Right sorry here let help you up" The man said as he took her pulling her up slowly.

As Theresa got up slowly she went little weak which almost to the ground but the young watch her as he said

"Ho It was easy Again I’m sorry"

"Well you should you just knock the wind out of me." she said

The man still holding her "Hey girl I said I was sorry."

Theresa annoyed by this man pushed him and said "Excuse I am a girl I am woman and I know I am sorry but frankly I won’t forgive you and I can’t take of myself"

Theresa said as she began wiping the sand off her sundress.

"I’m sorry woman but I was just trying to help" The man said

Theresa said "Oh Yeah right buddy like you help before ran into like raging bull next watch where going and look what do you did to my dress."

The man chuckled as he said " I can’t believe I am getting this from spoiled rich who I was trying help and all I get is " in girly accent "Oh look what you have to my dress?" all I want I was a simple thank you but I see that you are not going to give so I better be going."

While Theresa was wiping the sand off her dress she what the young man then she began felt and knew that all he said was right and she hated being wrong. As The young man began to walk away Theresa and said

"Wait"

The man stop in his tracks not turning around Theresa run to me as she looked at him for first she seen what this man really looked like he had a wondering smile, Short brown wavy hair, Two bright blue eyes that sparkle just like ocean and she looked she felt that she has seen his man before but doesn’t know from where that she when she asked

"What is your name?"

He replied "Ethan, Ethan Winthrop"

Theresa smile as she open out her hand and said "Hello I am Theresa Lopez Fitzgerald I’m sorry and thank you for helping me."

He smiled back as he took hand they shook hands and he said "Your welcome"

Chapter 2.

"Have I Seen You Before"

After introducing themselves by shaking hands let and for some both them couldn’t smile at one another. As Theresa looked Ethan she this strong feeling him before but she didn’t know here.

So she asked "Look I know this might sound strange but I can asked you something?"

Ethan replied "Sure go ahead."

"Well I have you seen before you before because I feel that you somewhere I don’t where?"Theresa asked

"Wow now it that is weird." Ethan said

She asked " What’s weird"

He said "It’s just I was thinking the same thing too."

"Really."

"Really"

"You’re right is that weird almost of kind of cosmic"

Theresa said

"Yeah I know what you mean, but then again." Ethan said

Theresa asked "Then again what"

Ethan wanted to say that maybe she seen him in newspaper when he was child after his mother died and that it was reveal that was not but decide to reveal that much information to Theresa just yet anyway it wasn’t the right so he said instead.

"Well again I have seen you in beauty magazines that my sisters have."

"So you have sisters young or old?" Theresa asked they began to walk together closer to Theresa’s house.

"Both young Kay and Jessica and I also one younger brother Noah you?" Ethan told Theresa

Theresa told Ethan "I have two older brothers Luis and Miguel and a younger sister Paloma."

Ethan said "That’s right um Luis the deputy for my Dad the chief Sam Bennett he a good cop he right married to Sheridan Crane Right"

"Right’ Theresa said shocked how he knows

"And your other brother Miguel he is model he is good looking he has find Mrs. Right yet?"

Theresa chuckled as she said "No not yet but I guess you must read your sisters magazines I am surprised that you all that."

Ethan said "Sorry"

Theresa said "Oh it is fine guess everyone knows much as well Since my family is kind of famous in this town."

"True, So um you don’t answer this but you have a boyfriend."Ethan asked

"Wow getting personal already, No I don’t and actually I don’t think ready for a boyfriend just yet."Theresa said

Ethan understood "I understand that"

Theresa said " So you how about you"

"Do I have a boyfriend." Ethan said

"Oh sorry I mean do you have a girlfriend?" Theresa said

Ethan said "OH No not yet?"

Theresa replied " Well when you do she is going to be lucky woman."

"The same goes for you when you find you Mr. Right he’ll be lucky man." He said

Theresa asked "Thanks. So why such as young, single, and muscular like yourself is doing on a beach."

Ethan answered " I was taking a morning/Afternoon jog and walk.. What about you."

" My mom thinks I works too much I told me take off a day have fun and relax. So I decided to take a walk then later go shopping and hang with friends then later help with papa the restaurant in town. I know you should came down tonight with your family on me." Theresa told Ethan

"Oh I can’t do that but I don’t think can because my family night it is tonight and we agreed to stay at home and do something together, you know." Ethan told Theresa

Theresa said as they reached Theresa and stop "I understand. Well this is my stop.."

"Oh" Ethan said as he looked at her house which it was huge but beautiful place to live."Well I better jog back home"

"Right how far it is " Theresa said

Ethan said "Not far only a couple block like 6."

Theresa said "Bye" she turned around walking up the stairs. Ethan watching her then he yelled

"Theresa"

Theresa stop turn as she turned around said "Yes Ethan "

Ethan asked "I was wondering after shopping or hanging with your friends and if you still enough time before meet your dad. I was thinking if we could get a cup coffee at Java Joint."

Theresa said " Well Let me think about it here is my phone number can you remember it?"

Ethan said "You bet can"

Theresa yelled "665- 7567 Got it"

"Got it" Ethan yelled

"What about yours" Theresa said

Ethan yelled "665-8697 Got it"

Theresa yelled "Got it"

As they walked away to their separated ways they keep saying their numbers while smiling can’t wait to get home to write them down on a piece.

Chapter 3

The Girl Who Brightens His Day and The Man Who Swept Off Her Feet

3 hours after Ethan and Theresa met Ethan got home as quickly as soon possible he went to room got a piece of paper as wrote Theresa phone number. As he was finished write it down he looked as smile and got an idea that knocked Theresa’s socks off.

5 hours after meeting Theresa and her best friend Whitney Russell went to LaLivA to get something to eat after shopping for three hours. When Theresa told Whitney while shopping about Ethan how they met and how they talk and how he asked. When Whitney and Theresa put their bag and sat down at Bar. Theresa yelled for waiter get their orders. As they waited Whitney

"So are going to Java café later to see him."

"I know don’t Whitney yeah Ethan seems bad its just." Theresa said

"Just what ! What is hold you back?." Whitney asked

Theresa said "I’m not ready handle any relationships right now Whit I am about to go college and I hate long distance relationships."

Whitney said "So you are not going to give a guy chance."

"I don’t know " Theresa said

10 minutes later the waiter with a baquet of pink roses Theresa surprised and curious as she seen these beautiful flowers she asked

"Bartender who are these flowers for?"

"for you miss."

"Me."

Whitney asked "Who sent them?"

The bartender replied " I don’t know but they did leave a card but I didn’t open" has he handed Theresa the note. She anxiously opened the card as she open as she read the words.

"Dear Theresa

Theresa today you had brighten my day and just wanted to say thank with these beautiful pink roses. I know you are busy tonight just like me but I was hoping that you would return the favor by meeting for coffee at the Java Joint around 4:00pm I’ll be waiting for you til 6; 00pm then have to go back home for my family night but I will understand if you don’t come but I will call you sometime tomorrow.

After Theresa read letter she knew she was swept of her by Ethan like no other ever did before. Theresa looked at her seen it was 3:45pm then Theresa looked at Whitney as she asked

"Hey Whit"

"What I am going a date and I have 15mintues to get there but I need your help to do it?"

Whitney said "That is my girl now come lets go"

Theresa and Whitney rushed Theresa told waiter to take the flowers into office and to make sure to water them later, he agreed. Then Theresa and Whitney rushed they grab their bags and ran into the car as drove off to Theresa’s house to get ready for this coffee date with the man who swept her off feet.

15 minutes later Ethan wearing a nice blue Long Sleeve shirt with tan jacket that he had on the chair wearing a nice pair of blue jeans. Ethan was already at Java Joint waiting for Theresa to come. He looked his watch constantly. He getting nervous and jittery wondering if this girl will stood him up or if she come will he screwed it up. All Ethan Knew that he was going to meet the woman who has brighten up his day maybe his life.

After Theresa got home at 4:00pm she knew she was going to be very late but she didn’t care as long she got see Ethan there that was fine with her. So immediately Theresa got a 10 minutes shower while her friend Whitney prepare her outfit which was short sleeve maroon shirt with black slacks . When Theresa got of the shower she approved Whitney outfit. She put it on, fixed he hair by curling a little curling iron, which took another 15 minutes she looked at it 4:30pm Theresa and Whitney have their hugs good bye as Theresa left go to the Java Joint hoping Ethan was still there.

The time was 5:00pm and Theresa still wasn’t here he getting optimistic if she going to come or not. He was he second cup of coffee and getting antsy so he decided he get fresh air. He left the Java Joint only a couple of steps away he seen a bench where he sat looked at the stars then he took a deep sigh daydreaming about what happened if was here with Theresa.

Then he seen just him and her laughing together while drinking, talking getting to know one another and he also daydream while after this laughing , and talking that he could see Theresa saying "I am having a great time with you." then he seen that she grab his and was moving towards to give a kiss in the cheek.

Then "Ethan" a woman’s voice said

Ethan snapped back to reality as he seen Theresa looking even more beautiful as the first time he saw he smile as stood from the bench as he replied back

"Theresa"

Theresa said "I’m sorry I am late"

Ethan said as walked towards " It’s is okay, hey have an a hour before we both had to go. Shall we " as he offered his arm for her hand take which she did as, "Yes, oh Thank you for the flowers they were beautiful."

"The flowers are not bad but are you are the beautiful one." Ethan said as they walk into the Java Joint

Chapter 4

Getting Everything Out on the Table

As they enter the room Ethan and Theresa really began to see the stares coming the from the people from the Java Joint they were just surprised Ethan was out one of most rich heiresses in this town and they just could help but. As Ethan and Theresa sat at the table Ethan had reserved as a gentlemen he pulled out Theresa which sat down and Ethan asked "What would like Coffee, Tea muffin anything.?"

Before answering Theresa said "Ethan you know right the people are starring at us."

"Yes, I do but I don’t care" Ethan replied

"You don’t " Theresa surprised by Ethan’s replied

Ethan said "I don’t and should either I don’t these people affect you because all what matter right now is us getting to know another and see what happens for here? Now what you like?"

Theresa answered "Chamile Tea with blueberry muffin."

Ethan saying like a waiter "Coming up right up stay there you don’t you go anywhere.?"

"Don’t worry I am not going anywhere." Theresa said



As Theresa was alone waiting for Ethan come back with her Tea and muffin. Even though after the good things that Ethan said about not giving the people who were starring at the time of day, but couldn’t Theresa couldn’t stand people starring and that why she doesn’t go out much because no matter people would always be watching her. Sometimes she wish that she was normal woman going out on date with a decent a guy like Ethan rather than a guy dating her and finding you are getting used for publicity.

"Hey here you go ?" as Ethan came back with her tea and blueberry muffin and Theresa seen that Ethan got the same thing as and Theresa said

"Well I see you got the same."

Ethan said "After having two cups of cups coffee I needed something different and what you order sound good so what the heck I order the same as you is that okay."

Theresa said "No Its fine "

As she drank some of her tea and took of her bit muffin. Ethan could tell something was wrong with Theresa she looked was nervous and also, she looked anxious to get of out.

Ethan said " Okay what’s wrong."

Theresa said as she a big bite of muffin she mouth she sallow "Excuse me"

"Is something wrong with me " Ethan asked

"Gosh, Ethan no" grabbing Ethan’s hand "You are great decent guy it is me and these people starring . I just can’t stand it is making uncomfortable and I want to get out but if you wanted stay I will stay and I will handle it."

Ethan told Theresa "I’m sorry I didn’t mean you feel uncomfortable "

Theresa told Ethan "It’s okay it is me that’s all.."

"Okay let make a deal, After we done having our small conversation while eating our muffins and drinking our tea then we’ll get out see what else going on because we have an forty minutes til my family time." Ethan suggested

"Okay Deal" Theresa said

Ethan said "Deal, So were born here?" as Ethan drank some tea and took a bit of his muffin.

Theresa replied "Yes but before I was born my mother, father and brothers lived in Mexico I always wanted to see what it was for my family to live there. So what about you were born here?"

"Yes, I was and I lived all my life and sometimes I can’t wait to get out of here to live my own life ." Ethan said

"I know what you mean." Theresa said

Ethan continues "Well that is getting out of this place and in couple months I am going to NYU to say law."

Theresa asked "Like your dad ?"

"Not really I want to be lawyer. I want to help people like my dad but just in different way.. What about you about where are you going?" Ethan said

Theresa replies "In couple of months I’ll be going to UCLA to study business restaurant management . So in couple of years I will own my father’s restaurant. "

"Really sounds great." Ethan said

"Thanks it is " Theresa said

Ethan asked "Listen I don’t mean really get personal but is this your date."

"Oh of course, not I was dated this one guy while I was in bordering school.. His name was Fox Crane and we had dated for 2 months." Theresa said

"Really I don’t that you dated Fox Crane?" Ethan said

Theresa said "No one did it was are dating was secrete or at least I thought I did."

Ethan said "What is that supposed mean."

"I can believe I am telling you this." Theresa said

"Yeah, you have don’t have to all this." Ethan said

Theresa said "You know I needed to, I wanted to."

Ethan said "Okay, but you don’t have to."

"One day I went to visit Fox as a surprised for our 2 month anniversary. I asked a maid where was fox and she said that he was father’s office. So I went up there to see that door was half open I was about until her my name mention ." as Theresa was telling the story she was flashing back.

Fox’s Father Julian Crane said "So son how is you suppose Girlfriend Theresa Lopez Fitzgerald she is beautiful girl."

Fox said "Yea h she is a beautiful it was a good to set me up with her at least your plan is working the press is getting your off and not paying attention about your dealings how long more until this clear up."

"Soon" Julian said

"Good, because this girl is driving me crazy if I heard one more thing about her family, friends, work I am going to go off the handle."

A heartbroken Theresa was behind the door listening to everyone that Fox and Julian said

Back to the present Ethan asked " What happened?"

"I walked away and never seen Fox and Julian again. I just thank good that Fox and Julian were my brother Luis’s wedding. So enough about that what about you this your first date." Theresa told Ethan

"No way I hate this one girl through middle to middle of high school. Her name was Gwen we were like middle school sweethearts." Ethan said

Theresa asked "What happened."

Ethan said "Well we in our junior of High school we began having a lot of about stupid thing she said she wanted commitment that pay attention to her which she was but so focus on school and my family. I love her at least I though I did so before summer break of junior year I asked to marry me but she ending say no that she was seeing someone else."

"Oh that must hurt I’m so sorry ." Theresa said

" It is okay hey at least we got that past relationships out on the table ,,,,, Ready to get out of here" Ethan said

Theresa instantly said "Yes please"

Ethan paid the bill as Ethan and Theresa left the full starring people at the Java Joint.

Chapter 5

The Mysterious Music

As Ethan and Theresa left they were taking a walk on the wharf as they were asking each other questions about one another like,

Ethan asked "Favorite Color"

Theresa said "Maroon, you"

"Dark Blue, What is your favorite flower" Ethan replies

"So you can send me more flowers well the pink and yellow roses you sent me were my favorite. Thank you again for the flowers." Theresa said

Ethan said " Your welcome I am glad you like them."

Theresa asked "Now my turn to asked another question what is favorite song?"

"Hmm let see me Something About The Way You Looked Tonight by Elton John. You?" He said

Theresa was side tracked and he wondered until he heard music coming from somewhere then he asked again the same question again.

"Theresa"

"Yes."

"What your favorite song?"Ethan asked

Theresa replied "The song that I hear right now."

Ethan said "Really what it is called?"

"Everything by Michael Buble." Theresa said

"Nice rhythm I wondering where it is coming from." Ethan asked

Theresa replied " Well let’s go find out then"

Ethan worried about time. He looked at his watch to have 15 minutes to get home. So instead of calling it a night he looked Theresa as replied

"Okay I think that coming down by the wharf."

Ethan grabbed Theresa’s hand as they followed in the direction of music. As they were getting closer as they heard the music getting a louder they finally found out where the music was coming from. No other place when LaLiva Theresa’s Restaurant.. Theresa was in complete shocked then she knew had to go inside to see what was going on. So she turn around at Ethan and said

"Ethan I know you have to leave to go family thing I understand if you want leave now but I would really loved to stay with me and go check out what’s going on and maybe we’ll have a bit to eat so what do you think."

Ethan looked at Theresa’s face with this puppy dog face that was making week by him saying yes but I knew had say no answer as said "Theresa, I’m sorry but..." then he looked at watch and seen it was 6:00pm so no matter he was going to do he was to be late . Then he looked Theresa again and something inside say out loud was

"Alright, I’ll go in with you anyways I am curious myself to see what’s inside"

Theresa feeling happy, but yet guilty for begging Ethan staying with her rather than being with your family.

As Ethan grabbed her hand as said "Shall we go in see what fussed is about ?"

Theresa about to have tears in her eyes she pulled her hand away as she yelled "No!"

"Excuse me" said a confused Ethan

"NO You shouldn’t be here you should having fun with your family not me not like a girl like me anyways. If you made a promise to be home by 6:00pm" as she looked at her watched seen it was 6:00 already."And see it is 6:00 already so please just go now I’ll inside by myself, I’ll call you tomorrow and maybe you check the restaurant some other time."

So As Theresa began walking towards the Restaurant Ethan grabbed her said "Theresa !" She pulled away from Ethan’s gasped again as said "No Ethan please just go be Ethan your family please."

Then she walked away as Ethan was watching her go inside. As she went inside Ethan was outside alone wondering what he should do having fun with his family or have fun with woman who has just meet. Ethan looked up towards the sky for answer then he seen a falling star then he got an idea the chance to both have fun with his family and Theresa at the same time. So got out the cell phone to call his dad to tell him I’ll be later coming home and that he’ll bringing a visitor to family night.

Chapter 6

You Surprise Me!

Once Theresa went inside the restaurant still hearing the music of her favorite song she went to the bar as she asked for Dr.Pepper. As she waited there came Whitney surprised to sitting there alone wondering here this Ethan guy was. Whitney came up to her gave her a hug and said

"Hey Girl what are you doing here."

"Oh well me and Ethan decided to call a night then I heard the music so what is going here Whit." Theresa said

Whitney said "Oh you will never believe it. I want your dad to be the one to tell you this but...."

Theresa told Whitney "Whit, I am not in the mood for guessing so please tell what is going on?"

"Alright well from what I heard from you dad Michael Buble is here."Whitney said

Theresa just couldn’t believe why would Michael Buble want come here the restaurant wasn’t that well known and Theresa just couldn’t help but laugh.

Whitney couldn’t understand why Theresa was laughing so she asked "Theresa what is so funny."

"You are funny Whitney sometimes you surprise me and for second I actually believe you." Theresa reacted

"Wait you think I playing you?" Whitney asked

Theresa replied "Yes, like a fiddle" as she got her drink and took sip of her Dr. Pepper.

Whitney said "Okay well go over to the stage and seen for yourself he still should be talking to your dad."

"Alright Whit I might just go and do that." She said as got her drink and purse and began to walk over to the stage area then. Theresa didn’t see Michael Buble but she see her standing by the stage and right Theresa’s father seen her coming had big smile on his face to see his daughter and to give a surprise of her life. Theresa smile as walks towards her father put her drink and purse down on table closest near the stage which then gave her father a hug as she said

"Hey papa,"

"Hey sweetheart. I am to see you where have you been all day."

" Shopping with Whitney like my new outfit" As she let go of her to give him a turn around to look at her new outfit.

"Yes darling I love it you always looked beautiful." Her father said

Theresa said "Thanks Papa so tell what is going on."

Her father asked "What do you mean?"

"Is Michael Buble really here?" Theresa asked

"Who told you that? He asked

Theresa said "Whitney did."

He said "Did you believe her."

"Papa please stop with the questions and give some I do the right to know." Theresa said getting annoyed

"You’re right you should and Whitney is telling truth Michael Buble is here and I asked him if could sing a few songs for us." Her dad told Theresa

She still couldn’t believe it but when she Michael Buble coming out the bathroom she so shocked of what seeing. Michael came over to Theresa and her father as patted Theresa’s dad on the back and said

"Wow even your bathrooms look great Martin"

"Thanks Michael, This is my oldest daughter Theresa"

Michael smiled walked up to her took her hand gave it a kiss said "Nice to meet you I heard a lot about I found that you are big fan of my music."

"Yes I am, If you mind me asking about why are you here?" Theresa asked

Michael answered "Me and My band were on the road for while on we got hungry we stop here asked here the best food was a lot of people mention this place so went here. Your dad hook us up made great Italian/Mexican food I had ever tasted. We want to pay for bill but your dad it was on him which I thought it very nice so repay him then he mention you say that you might coming here later talked about you like my music then I said for thanks not letting us paying our bill how I sing couple songs for you and your family. And he said sure why not."

Theresa said "Well thank you that was very sweet of you."

"No problem Well me and my band better get the stage set up there any requests you like for me to sing tonight."Michael said

"Yes four actually one, Everything, 2. Crazy thing called love. 3 Coming home baby and lastly Lost." Theresa requested

Michael said " Done see ya out on the dance then."

Theresa said "Okay bye"

"Bye" Michael said

After Michael to set up Theresa and her father continue their chat.

"I see why you like that guy he is nice."

"Yes Papa he is and can’t you pay for meal how going to pay for it."Theresa said taken a sip of her Dr. Pepper

Her father "My Theresa " talking towards her took his hands on her face and kiss her on the forehead,"Don’t worry I will take care everything is fine,"

Theresa said "What about the critic?"

"He left."

"What!"

"Theresa clam down I told him about Michael Buble but he said he had to go home." Her father told her

Theresa said "What else did say."

Her father replied "Well he will be back tomorrow after with your review and to pick the tape of Michael buble singing since I promise him to video tape, now lets not talk about work I want to hear about the rest of your day."

"I did you tell Papa." Theresa said getting nervous knowing what he going to asked

"I know but that is what you did during the what you doing before you came here."

Theresa hesitated "Well uh" then for moment she thought about when was Ethan doing having a fun time with his family while she was here talking to her if she only wish she was with having that fun with his family like her family has hardly ever done.

Outside of The LaLiva Ethan was still on the cell talking to dad begging to let him stay out for at least 1hor and half longer.

"Please dad come I am nearly grown man please let go let have fun with a great girl no I mean a great woman."

His dad "Alright but better be home around 8:30pm"

"Thanks Dad, hey and if it still and there possibility I bring Theresa home to family night."

"Well I am not I don’t how grace would feel," his dad said then Grace yelled "It is fine Ethan we have penalty tomato soup cake go around."

Sam said "He you hear that Son"

"Yes dad tell Grace.Thanks"

His dad "You can call her mom You know"

"Dad please I am not ready to call Grace mom not yet anyway give my love everyone I will back in a hour or so."

"I love you too dad."



As Ethan hung up his cell phone he immdeatly enter LaLiva. When Ethan enter he was surprised how great the restaurant looked love the itlian/Mexican. He started to looked for Theresa when Whitney stopped and said

"Excuse me sir where think you are going."

"Oh sorry I am looking for someone Theresa Lopez Fitzgerald." Ethan asked

Whitney said "The woman that paitcatly owns this resturatnt."

Ethan said "Yes do you know her? Do you where she is?

"Yes to both those questions and I am just happen to Theresa best friend you must be the Ethan she has been talking about." Whitney told Ethan

"Yes Ethan Winthrop how did know I was?" Ethan asked

Whitney replied "It was pretty obvious by way you say her name and by way Theresa describe you she was dead on."

Ethan said with a smirk on his face "So I see Theresa has been talking about me."

Whitney replied "Well I see by that smirk on your face that you have talk about too by the I am...."

Ethan finished her saying "Whitney Russell I know"

"How"

"Chad Harris I told me about you too."

"Wait my Chad told you about me?"

Ethan said "Yes we tell each other everything just like you and Theresa."

Whitney said "Right well if things work out for you and Theresa. Theresa, you , Chad and I should go on a double date sometime.

Ethan said " Sounds great but Whitney I am sorry to cut this chat short but I would really like to see Theresa now so if you telling me where she is?"

Whitney answered "Oh right sorry yeah she would near talking to her dad about tonight’s special musical guest Michael Buble."

"You Michael Buble is really here ."

"Yup in flesh"

"I bet Theresa is excited."

"Yeah she is and I think that she will need someone to share the excitement with and I think this person should be you." Whitney told Ethan

Ethan said "Thanks Whitney nice meeting you."

Whitney said "Nice meeting you too Ethan"as she left Ethan through and turned around to see Ethan go over her best friends.

Back at the stage Theresa still didn’t her father where was earlier night she didn’t know how her father would react about Ethan since he was middle class guy. They sat down at the table where her drink and purse was then her father said

"Come on Sweetheart the suspense is killing me where were you before you came here."

Theresa took a deep then a drink of her Dr. Pepper she was about to shallow then she hear Ethan’s voice say

"She was with me Sir "

Theresa spit up drink coughing to turn around to see Ethan right clearing her she said " Ethan what a surprise to see you here."

A Bit To Eat and A Dance For Desert

Theresa could help but cough as she was shocked to see Ethan standing right behind her as went over to see if Theresa was okay.

"Theresa are you okay"

"I’m fine Ethan."

Her father said " You are sure darling."

"Really I’m fine papa."

"Fine even now young before you made my daughter choke on her drink what it is that you said?" Theresa’s father asked

Ethan said "Well didn’t mean to make your daughter choke on her drink. What said before I was with Theresa before she came here were on a date which I thought you knew about."

He replied "As you apparently didn’t get the message from my daughter Theresa is what man saying true were with him."

Theresa said "Yes I was, I should have told you before papa but it was very last minute and mama I should have Ethan sent me these beautiful pink roses."

Theresa’s father looking Ethan with considered look on his face as he said. "He bought you flowers did he?"

Theresa continuing "Yes beautiful which had saying to meet at the Java Joint talk then left then we talk so more and then we heard the music coming from here. I told Ethan that he should home because he had a prior engagement. I didn’t except him to back."

Theresa father said" I see"

Then Ethan step toward " You see sir things just happened so fast first us bumping into one another at the beach., exchanging phone numbers, me sending her flowers, then now this. I am sorry if I had speeded way to fast between me and Theresa but it just happened."

"Ethan I have heard enough thank you for coming here and giving the truth between you and my daughter. I would to hear more about it but if you excuse me I have a restaurant to run. Goodnight you two have a great enjoy some food and the entertainment." He turn away from Ethan and Theresa as he began to walk away Ethan putting his hand on Theresa shoulder comforting her as she had tears in her feeling bad for not telling her father about Ethan pulled from Ethan as Theresa ran to her grabbing his arm saying

" Papa Please don’t walk away."

Theresa’s dad turn kissed on the forehead said "It is alright you are young woman. You should fun every once and while have fun with Ethan tonight alright we’ll talk more tomorrow okay I love you."

Theresa drying her tears smiled at him as she gave him a kiss on the cheek and hug then let go and said "Thank you and I love you too Papa."

Theresa walked which her father watched as went towards Ethan gave him and kiss on the cheek just like she did to him. He could how Theresa has grown into beautiful woman all hoped that Ethan doesn’t hurt like how Fox because he does will be in for one rude waken as left he got strange feeling in the pit his stomach that Ethan was surely hiding something but wasn’t what and his surly going to find out what.

After Theresa gave Ethan a hug and kiss on the cheek and asked

"Ethan what you going here I thought your with your family."

Ethan replied "Well I was going to but I hated the way tonight ended. So I called my dad after a lot of begging and pleading I asked if could stay for another hour and a half."

Theresa said " Well it is great that you are here you won’t believe who you my favorite singer...."

Ethan finished her sentence "Michael Buble yeah know he is here."

"How did you"

"Your best friend Whitney seems you tell her everything like for me example."

Theresa blushed a little as gave Ethan another smile and said."Well best friends you have no secretes."

Ethan said "True"

"Do you a have friend that you tell your secrets to." Theresa asked

"Yes, I do have two in mind." He replied

"Really who are they." She asked

He said "Well the first one is Chad Harris."

Theresa said "You mean Whitney’s boyfriend "

Ethan answered "Yes"

"Well don’t think they make a couple." Theresa asked

"Yes they do." Ethan replied

"Who is your second best friend." Theresa asked

"Oh well it is she, beautiful, sweet , kind, easy to get to know." Ethan told Theresa

Theresa told Ethan "Wow she sounds wonderful."

Ethan smiled "Yeah she is like perfect in way."

"Ohhh sounds Ethan has crush on his best friend but anyways when can get to meet her?" She said

" First of all it is just crush you know and second of all don’t have to meet her." He said

Theresa asked "Why"

Ethan smiled at Theresa once more and said" Because she is you."

Theresa blushed and smiled once more as she gave a girly slap on the shoulder and said

"You such a charmer you know that."

"Yes I do"

Both Ethan and Theresa laughed as Theresa grabbed Ethan’s hand and said

" Come on lets sit and down and get a bit to eat I already have a table for us and we should enough time to order before Michael Buble comes out and sings."

Ethan said as was following her to the table " Sounds great but what about Desert?"

As Ethan was finished asked that question Theresa she stop and decided since Ethan was flittering with her she should flitter with him too. So she turn around smiled went up close and personal to Ethan as she asked

" Of course there will be desert. What will you like?"

Ethan smiling back knowing what she was doing " I know maybe a dance with you."

Then Theresa decided to play hard to get by saying "Maybe but you’ll to wait and see now Come on let go and take a sit."

Still holding they walked together as they sat where her and her father where sitting before which they sat down and waited to get their orders.

Decation Chapter (Peek in the Closet)

Ethan and Theresa sat down at their table as they looked at menus to see what they should after 10 minutes of looking the waiter came to their orders as he asked

"Hello miss Theresa and Mr Ethan now what would like to order."

Ethan said "Ladies first"

Theresa said "Thanks Ethan I would another Dr. Pepper and for dinner I will the special #1 the chicken papaia with steamed vegetables and baked potato with just butter and that would all for me " as she handed her menu

The wait er said "Great choice miss Theresa" then he turned to Ethan and asked

"Now what can I get for sir."

Ethan wasn’t ready to but didn’t want longer for food since his time was limited so he said." Well what this lovely woman order sounds pretty good so I will have she is having."

The waiter replied "Wise choice for a man, who doesn’t know what to order."

Both Ethan and Theresa laughed at his comment which the waiter smiled which then Theresa said

"Thanks Colin you may go."

"Yes I’ll be back with your food and drinks soon"

As the waiter Ethan and Theresa once again other a smile on the face. Whitney from afar at the bar watching the sparks between Ethan and Theresa flying while she was have her lunch break then her boyfriend Chad comes to see by surprising her by covering taking his hands covering her eyes. By touching her face Whitney knew right away who it was so she turned around as she gave a quick kiss on lips as she said

"Well hello"

"Hey what is going why did you call me what is so important." Chad asked as sat down beside Whitney

Whitney said "You how been saying that Theresa need a new man in her life."

Chad said "Yeah"

" I finally won’t have to worry anymore because my prayers for Theresa have came true."

"You mean"

"You thought it Chad, Theresa has finally landed herself I decent man."

Chad said "Really well who the lucky man."

Whitney said " Actually your best friend Ethan"

"You mean Ethan Winthrop."

"Yup and why didn’t that you had great like Ethan lying around for Theresa"

Chad didn’t want for Whitney to hear what just but trying covering up by said. "Nothing just forget about it."

Whitney said "Too late for that now is there something Ethan is keeping from Theresa."

"Then tell me Chad"

So Chad to his girlfriend everything about his childhood past that he was Crane and how he lost mother which found out he wasn’t a crane at all but was Sam Bennett’s son. He also told her about his relationship saying that he posed as being a crane since Gwen was beautiful rich girl but that relationship was short lived because she found out the truth decided to get revenge by playing him along then he pop the question she no and told she was seeing someone else and knew about him not being a crane. Lastly Chad told Whitney that Ethan still wants to be apart of Cranes that is why he keeps of all the Cranes.

Whitney could believe what her boyfriend as just told her she was shocked then looked Ethan and Theresa laughing, having and great time with one another and Whitney asked as she was still looking at Ethan and Theresa.

"Chad do you think Theresa knows?"

"By the looks of it. No" Chad

"Man just when Ethan is the perfect guy for Theresa now I find out about this do you think I should tell her." Whitney asked

Chad said "No"

Whitney asked "Why not"

"Because if these two do become a couple Ethan needs to be the one to tell her the truth." Chad told Whitney

"You’re right"

Back at Ethan and Theresa table talking and laughing with one another from Ethan’s stupid but yet funny jokes. Theresa settling her laughing down she told Ethan

"Ethan I just can’t believe you’re here, Here I thought you are at home the whole but you are actually here with me instead of your family. So I did you decided to stay?"

Ethan told Theresa " I like said earlier I hated the way things ended between you and I."

Theresa said "I know and I’m sorry the way I acted earlier I just felt guilty from tearing you from family any longer now are going to NYU., but hey if want to go now to be with your family I understand."

Ethan giggling he grabbed her smiled at her and said ."Theresa there is nothing to be sorry about and you don’t need to feel about me and my family. I love my family and I will have plenty to spend more time with them before leave and maybe have more time with you how about that?"

Theresa said "That sounds great"

Looking into each other eyes and smiling the sparks were flying once until they both heard a familiar voice say

"I Can’t believe Ethan"

Theresa looked up to see that her mother who spoke and then turned around he smiled as he seen his second mother Pilar standing right behind him. Excuse himself from the table Ethan immediately went up to Pilar as they stood Ethan and Pilar stood face to face

Ethan said "Pilar"

Pilar said "Ethan"

They hugged another as Pilar said

"Ethan my have you grown you looked so handsome." as she looked at Theresa ,"And I see why with my daughter by your side."

Ethan said "Theresa is your daughter "

Pilar said "Yes my oldest and I see it that you two are on date."

"Yes we are?"

Theresa walked over to see Ethan and her mother get reacquainted Theresa asked her mother as she gave her a kiss on the cheek and a hug

"So mama how know Ethan?"

"Well honey when Ethan was a little boy I was friend of his mother so when she out and about I always babysit him, his brothers and sisters."Pilar told Theresa

Ethan said "Yeah she was like a second mother to me, So Pilar how did know that me and Theresa were here."

"Well Theresa’s father called me told me about Michael buble then told about you and I just couldn’t believe so I came here to see for myself. Oh Theresa your father wanted me to tell the restaurant needs more menus"

"Sure I think there is some more in the storage closet I’ll go get some and give them Whitney but here is an idea while do Ethan you and my can talk."

"Sure" Ethan said

"That will be fine" Pilar said

"Great I’ll be back" Theresa said

So Theresa left while thought Ethan and her mother were talking but as soon she enter the storage closet and got more menus she heard the door close behind her. Theresa immediately turned to see Ethan behind her asked

"Ethan what you doing here?"

Ethan said "Well I thought that you might need some."

Theresa said As you see I need no help. So where is my mother."

"With your dad, you know I just can’t believe she is your mother, you are just like her you know." He mentioned

" I know and thank you but Ethan I think we should" she said

Ethan was walking towards by each step smiling at her, and looking at her from top to bottom til they were face which Ethan took his right hand stroking her hair and face as he said " You do know what I’ve been thinking about all day since I met you on the beach."

Theresa getting weak in the knees as she said silently "I bet I have an idea."

Taking his other Ethan touched her chin he said "Well then I might as well just show you"

Then pull his lips and up against her Ethan kissed Theresa for the first time which Theresa kissed him back but more feeling and passion.

Where is Ethan and Theresa?

It has been 15 mintues since Ethan and Theresa have been the closet making out. After each mintue the more intense each kiss became. Back out in the restaurant Whitney went over to see how things were going then seen they weren’t the able nor the dance floor then she then she thought to herself "Where is Ethan and Theresa?"

After she finished that Theresa’s mother Pilar went over to Ethan and Theresa table to see just Whitney standing there. Then asked

"Hello Whitney have seen Theresa and Ethan?"

" Well yes but not for an half hour I was just about to see how their date was going and seen that they weren’t here." Whitney told Pilar

Pilar said "Well um I wondering where they could be?" then she had bad thought come cross her mind. She knew exactly where Ethan and Theresa they were and what they doing then Whitney seen that Pilar’s mind was somewhere else. So a worried Whitney asked Pilar.

"Pilar What’s wrong"

Pilar coming back to reality after the things that Ethan and Theresa might be doing in the closet but then she told Whitney "Oh I thought of where Ethan and Theresa might be hiding and I going to get them right now." As Pilar left then Whitney followed her as she said "Well let me go with you."

Back in the closet things between Ethan and Theresa were hot, and passionate and no they didn’t do it the deed but they certainly getting to that point. Laying down on the floor side by side kissing each others lips and neck Ethan saying in between kisses

"Did I tell you how beautiful you look."

"No"

"Well you" another kiss on the forehead, "Are" another kiss on neck," the most" looking into Theresa’s eyes "I have ever met" then kissed her on lips more passionate the last time.

After that kiss Theresa said " Ethan"

"Yes"

"Yes but not making love and if you don’t want to I will understand we will just go back and eat your dinner and dance afterwards."

"Shut up" then Theresa kissed him with more passion then ever before and began unbuttoning Ethan shirt while kissing him. Theresa got shirt unbutton then taking off very impressed on how **** muscular he was they didn’t the closet door was about to open. She couldn’t believe her eyes then she said

"Theresa my god girl."

Then Ethan and Theresa seen Whitney standing there in front them Whitney thank god that Pilar went to Martin to get but as she far gone Whitney had a spare key on her. Whitney turning away she said "I am going to give five minutes to clean yourselves before Pilar comes."

"Oh my god " Ethan and Theresa said at the same time

"That’s right so get moving you two."

It took five minutes for Ethan to his to put on his shirt buttoned it fix hair and put on his shoes while fix her hair and put on her sandals. Then Ethan stood up as he pull Theresa up to her feet then Theresa whispered "I am sorry" Ethan said "It is okay I should be the one saying sorry" Whitney said "Are you ready you two"

"Yes and Thanks Whit"

"No Problem just next time get a room."

They laughed as got of the closet and when the did they seen Pilar and Martin and asked

"So What were two doing in the closet?"

Ethan and Theresa looked at one another with that worried look on their face as Theresa said " Well mama it is quiet funny mama, papa"

" Oh really"

Theresa said "Well , I was going to the closet to get menus and umm Ethan ."

Ethan finished the sentence "And I followed her to see if she needed help reaching the menus in the closet which she did and I closed the door which we later found the door was lock."

"Yeah then Whitney showed up and unlocked the door."

Pilar asked "And you tell us what you while you "Locked in the closet."

Ethan and Theresa at the same time "Just Talking"

"mmm" martin said "Whitney is that what they doing when you saw them"

"Yes just talking." Whitney said

Ethan and Theresa not trying to show their sigh of relief.

"Good well Ethan and Theresa I see that your food has arrive on don’t you two and enjoy come lets go find yourselves a table to watch the show."

"Okay I love you Theresa"

"I love you too sweetheart," Theresa said as she wave her parents goodbyes as they left then immanently turned around to Whitney and said

Theresa said "Okay come on Ethan before our food gets cold."

Ethan replied "Yeah sure I’ll be right behind you just need to talk Whitney for second."

"Sure" as she kissed on him the cheek and left to go their table.

Whitney said "So what you want?"

Ethan said "To say thank you for covering me and Theresa I bet her father you have my head."

"Hey I bet that then again maybe might deserve it." Whitney told Ethan

Ethan confuse what Whitney meant that so he asked "What is that suppose to mean."

Dessert Dance

10 Questions

After Ethan and Theresa were finished with their they said goodbyes to friends and family and Michael Buble. Then they left the LaLivs as ride a cab to Ethan's home while during the drive Theresa said

"Well we certainly gave people a show back there."

"Yup we I guess we make a great dancing pair. Don't we"

Ethan replied.

"I guess we do, are you your parents with crashing your family night." Theresa said

Ethan laughed as he said "Theresa I told not to worry okay and if makes you feel any better while saying goodbye to your mom and dad I call my parents told them that we were coming and do you want to guess what they said."

Theresa asked "What did they said?"

" They said they can't wait to see they plenty of my mom's home made tomato soup cake, unfortanly we missed chartes, but they starting a new game till come." Ethan told Theresa

"Really that is what they said" Theresa said in amazement.

10 minutes later they finally arrive at Ethan's house. Ethan pay $15.00 for the cab ride as Ethan got out her opened the door for Theresa as he grabbed her and pulled her out of the cab. Still holding hands as they walked to front they stop as Ethan hold the door knob with this other Ethan looked Theresa as he asked

Ethan opened the door as they heard laughs of Ethan's family in the living as they eating their pieces of tomato soup cake having a great time. Ethan's family stood to take look at Theresa Ethan introduce them to her."

" Theresa this my family that big handsome old guy who just happens to be the of police of this town Sam Bennett."

" Hello Chief Bennett" Theresa said

"Please called me Sam" as they shook hands and then sam pulled Grace up front and said "Theresa is my wife and Ethan's Stepmother Grace "

Ethan told Theresa "Okay this Game this very each time pick a card from this hat now it on the card it either as has thing, name, place or a feeling and once you have that you I have asked you at least 10 yes or no questions until I guess right is on the card then we switch on the next turn okay, I got that."

Theresa said "It got"

Ethan said "Great, Dad we're ready."

"Okay now sense there is a odd Kay, Jessica, and Noah will a be unless someone wants to be score keeper" Sam asked

Jessica said "I will be scorekeeper?"



Sam said "Okay sweetheart so then Kay and Noah will be a team. Grace and I will be a team as always and Ethan and Theresa will be a team since you are you guys will start first now it's almost 9:20pm so at least want to get three rounds in. Round one I will be names round two will be places and once we are done with rounds one and two Jessica will tally up the scores and which ever two team has goes the final round and wins. Okay lets take this name started. Theresa picked up a card from the hat."

Before Theresa picked a card in the hat at the coffee table. Jessica tells Theresa

"Theresa I just want you to know, you very lucky you have the king of 10 questions"

Theresa smiled as looked at Ethan turned to Jessica and said "Thanks I am very lucky"

Then Theresa picked up the card went back to her opened it up to see "Ethan" Theresa trying not to give it away with her smile Theresa asked "Are you ready?"

"okay wow, um" Ethan trying to think he only had a few questions left then he his seventh question "He is young"

"Yes" Theresa said

Then he knew but decide to keep asking "He is sweet and kind"

"Most defiantly" Theresa said knowing that he knew the answer

For Ethan last question "He is love with you."

Everyone gasp as Ethan asked that question which they were anxious wait for Theresa answer and for the first in 10 questions history said

Ethan and Theresa looked at one another when Sam said "Okay what is underneath the card."

"My name Ethan" Ethan replied

Sam asked Theresa "He is right"

Theresa replied "Yes, he is right."

"Okay then Jessica that one point for Ethan and Theresa" Sam told Jessica then he looked at Ethan and said "Ethan now it your pick a card and Theresa it is your turn guess alright."

Then Ethan picked a card and open to see the name "Grace" on the card he try his hardest not to look disappointed but Theresa could see that Ethan was disappoint that he didn't her name. Ethan asked "Are you Ready"

Theresa replied "Yup."

"Then asked away" Ethan said

"Okay it is a woman?" Theresa asked as first question

Ethan answered "Yes"

Theresa said "Good okay uh is this person related to you?"

Ethan said "Yes"

" Is middle aged?" Theresa asked

" Yes" Ethan surprised how good Theresa was getting she was one question for beating his record.

Theresa said " Is the best stepmother you have ever had?"

Ethan smiled as replied "Yes but really she more like a real mother to me?"

"Yup" Ethan yelled "Wow guys it look we are the ones to beat " as he gave Ethan gave a friendly hug

Everyone was shocked to find out Theresa has beaten Ethan's record by one questions then Kay said to Ethan

Then Jessica said " Then do you she beat your record?"

Sam said "Well congras Theresa okay now Ethan and Theresa get another point Kay and Noah it is your turn. So Kay pick a card."













As Theresa watch Kay and Noah do their turn she though about how welcoming Ethan's family was she never thought she having such a great at somebody else house she never felt like as she did at home she wished her family would do this but she knew that never was going to happened in her lifetime nor any lifetime but this first life in her actually felt as the part of a family and also if she was normal having a really good time without paying a single dime.

It is was 9:00pm the game has already went through two rounds as Jessica went into her room tally the scores in the rest of gang took a break as Grace, Theresa, and Kay went into the kitchen to get some more cake and drinks. Sam, Ethan and Noah were living room waiting. As Grace, Theresa, and Kay got into the kitchen it was immodestly for girl gossip as Kay pulled Theresa towards the kitchen table as they sat down and Kay asked

"Okay Girl give the scoop what is going on?"

"Excuse me " Theresa replied

" Kay leave Theresa alone." Grace asked Kay as she getting more cake from the fridge.

"Oh my god mom you know that I am gossip of this family so please let me do my thing." Kay told her mother then looked at Theresa and "Now what is the dish between you and my brother are you hot and heavy."

Theresa told Kay "Kay we just met I mean I don't think we even at that stage yet ."

Kay confused "Wait you two just met and he already bring you here. Wow Ethan sure does move fast I mean you are girl he has brought here in 2 years since Gwen god you know about Gwen right."

Theresa said "Yes"

"What a Witch isn't she? I am glad she long gone." Kay said then Grace yelled "Kay Bennett that is enough that language."

Kay said "Sorry"

Grace she walked and sat beside Theresa and across from Kay she said "Theresa I'm sorry you are going to excuse Kay she always the outspoken one.'

"It is okay Grace and Kay got no problem with actually got no problem with anyone here." Theresa said

Grace patted Theresa's hand and said "Theresa you always welcome here and even though and Ethan just met I see real sparks between you two just like me and Sam and I hope make it as couple."

Back in the living the men were waiting for two things. First was waiting for Kay, Theresa, Grace and Theresa to come back with cake and drinks. Also, they were waiting for Jessica's results. So while they the men talked as Ethan began

"I wonder what is taking so long for the girls to get back out here."

Sam said "Well I know Jessica always take time her when comes to adding things up

Noah said " Yeah and you know Kay and Mom they are doing gossip talk about you and Theresa."

Ethan said "I wouldn't passed anything with Kay."

"Speaking of You and Theresa are two a couple or what" Sam asked

"Dad we just met but if everything goes the way is going right maybe yeah." Ethan told his Dad

Ethan got up off the couch as walked to fireplace seen a picture of his real mother Ethan said " Dad I am going to tell Theresa but right now is not to tell her."

Ethan was surprise to see Theresa standing with Kay and Grace right behind her. Ethan didn't know what to say while Theresa stood waiting for a answer.

Ethan was shocked to see Theresa standing there waiting for him to answer about what his dad and him were talking about. So he pretend as if he didn’t hear what Theresa had just asked and then Theresa notice that Ethan didn’t hear her so she asked again.

"Ethan what weren’t you going to tell me?"

"Uh" Ethan said as he tried to think of a lie then he got an idea and lied "Oh I didn’t want to tell you this but, you won’t be able to see my real mother tonight."

Theresa said a little disappointed "Oh Ethan Well I hope I see here soon where is she?"

Ethan replied "Away on business"

"Okay then" Theresa said

As she walked towards Ethan as she handed him a drink and a kiss on the cheek Theresa seen that Ethan was looking at a picture of him when he was little with beautiful older woman. Then Theresa mention "Ethan was that you when you were little."

"Yup, that was me alright’ Ethan replied

"Okay then the final is feelings, me and Grace we’ll go first and I’ll will pick up a card" Sam said







As Ethan and Theresa watched Sam and Grace. Before Theresa picked a card Ethan said

"Okay, Then lets start, Is this a good feeling" Ethan asked

Ethan said "Is this feeling rare."

Ethan knew that they already had it the bag. He knew that was feeling was "Love". As he thought about whether he should play this on more and asked more questions but then he seen Theresa’s face when she opened the car knew that this was kind a sore subject so Ethan asked

Grace and Sam pretend as the they bow their heads in shame as Ethan and Theresa blazed in their glory of winning that Ethan said to his dad

"Well then Dad, I guess that make the winners right "

"Yes you won" Sam said in a sore loser voice.

Theresa said as she hug Ethan "We won, Thank you Ethan , Sam and Grace "

Then Theresa looked at the time to see that it was 10 minutes to ten and that she need to get home by 10:30pm so she said ‘ Oh my look at the time I better get home"

Grace replied as she stood pulling Sam out his chair to make him stand up " Oh really, Sam, why don’t you call a cab for Theresa while Ethan keeps Theresa company outside waiting for the cab."

Sam said "Sure honey" as Sam left to go into the kitchen to the phone

Ethan said "Will do mom" as he walked to the front door as he waited for Theresa as she said her goodbyes

Then Grace came up to her as she gave Theresa a hug and said "Goodbye Theresa"

People that love is always patient, but the time sure does go fly when you are in love like Ethan and Theresa have been for the past three month since they meet on that fateful day of June on the beach as they both remember it like it was yesterday. During these past three months Ethan and Theresa have been spending every waking moment together, which do mean literally as they both wake early in morning as they go on Ethan’s daily morning jog then head back home as got they both got dress to go to work together yup, that is right Theresa ending persuading her mama and papa to give a job as waiter at LaLiva to some extra money for a car he was going to buy from his Uncle Hank by the end of the summer as well to save money for college tituition. After 3 months this was the day that Ethan got himself a great deal on a sweet red classic Ford Mustang for $200 a month and $ 500 deposit that payed to his Uncle Hank Sam’s younger brother which as Ethan gave Hank a $ 500 deposit and another $200 for the first month’s payment Hank got out the keys from his pocket then dangle this front above Ethan’s hand as Hank drop them into Ethan’s hand as Hank said "Drive safely"

Ethan replied "I will, Now if you excuse me I have to go and show off my new wheels. Thank Uncle Hank" as they shook hand then Hank pulled Ethan into a manly hug.

Too Anxious to wait for her mother she or little sister she immediately opened as she gotten out a letter and brochure of UCLA then Theresa’s read the first paragraph of the letter.

We hope to see great things from you at your four years of academic studies her at UCLA. Also we’re happy to inform you have earn a scholarship towards your stay at UCLA that all you need to pay is one payment of 15,000 by the end of first semester. Theresa couldn’t believe it that she got in to the college of her choice. She couldn’t with held the excitement any longer as Theresa screamed and jumped for joy . Ethan was in total shock and amazement as he folded the letter and put back in the envelope. Ethan future was already set he has more than achieve more than thought possible then he turn towards his Dad as Ethan was curious.

"Dad, how did you this I mean I don’t remember filing an application or sending a resume for that matter. I mean how did you know this?"

Sam told Ethan " Actually, I was happened to be your application and resume"

Ethan confused "What how?"

"Well a college friend of mine David Abbott call me at the station one day we were very good friends in college, Anyways David call me one day said he needed help from me with the case he was working on , So I did then we started about your about his firm and family then told him about me being chief and how the family then I told about you and how missed most of your childhood and you are growing to be a lawyer and that you were going to NYU then he told me about their new Law Education Program I told that you would great for you so. I sent him and application and resume of your accomplishments and David did the rest" Sam explain to Ethan

Ethan said "Thanks dad this really means a lot"

Sam said "Anything to make up for the time we missed Son"

Then they both each other a manly hug. After the manly hug Ethan looked at his watch to see it was 6:15pm then Ethan said

"Well it looks likes it is time for to go. I don’t want to be late picking up Theresa, don’t want to miss the fireworks."

Sam replied "Of course, but before we leave there is one more thing I need to give you that your mom would like you to have to give a girl like Theresa".

As Sam went to other jacket pocket he got out a necklace case handed to Ethan, which open to see a gold necklace with a heart ingraved with a guarding angel with wings Ethan told Sam.

"It’s beautiful Dad. Theresa will love it."

"I know your mother love it when gave to her on your first year anniversary where we made you and then before she ran off gave it back to me. I told to keep it, but she said for me to keep to remind me of her, but now I am giving it to you to give to Theresa because I don’t need that necklace to remind of your mother because when I look at you, you remind of her and me." Sam told Ethan

Ethan replied "Thanks Dad I’ll remember that. Theresa will love it"

Sam said "I am sure she will, but Ethan you got to promise me something

"Sure Dad what?" Ethan asked

"If you give this necklace to Theresa you must promise me that you’ll tell Theresa the truth about your past before you go to college" Sam demanded

Ethan told his dad "Dad I don’t" but once heard those words he demanded once again "Ethan I don’t want to hear it. Promise me okay and from what I heard and seen Theresa has been honest with you. So please Ethan if you love like I loved your mother give her at last the consideration being honest with her."

Ethan knowing his dad was right he wondered as he asked "Do you think she will hate me?"

"Well to be honest Ethan at first I think she will be angry, but she loves like I know she does she will understand and perhaps maybe forgive you. So what is it going to be Ethan" Sam answered

"I promise Dad, but I don’t how to tell?" Ethan told Sam

Sam replied " That is why gave a couples to figure out the right words to say to Theresa."

Ethan asked "Thanks Dad now if you don’t mind can we switch sides"

"No at all. You don’t want to be late for your date with Theresa" Sam replied as he gave Ethan the keys then they got in the car as Ethan drive off to take his dad home and to pick up Theresa at LaLiva to go see the Labor Day fireworks.

After Ethan drop off his father off at home went straight to LaLiva to pick up Theresa for the Labor Day fireworks. It was 7:00pm Theresa was standing outside of the front LaLiva wearing a light blue tank top with a American flag on the front wearing caprees and sandals. Then Theresa smile as she Ethan honking of the horn while Ethan pulled his new classic shiny read Ford Mustang coming front of Theresa. Theresa just couldn't believe what she was seeing as she saw her sexy, but so handsome boyfriend get out of the car wearing a plain white T-shirt with blue jeans and sneakers. Ethan ran towards smiling at Theresa, which he grabbed, and lifted off her feet spinning her around then lifted her back up holding her like a man was holding his new wife to the threshold and Ethan said as he was still holding her.

"Why, hello my princess what do you think of my new chariot."

Theresa gave him the first kiss of the day and while stroking his hair she replied "Well, my prince charming of mine I think your chariot is most beautiful one I have ever seen"

Ethan gave a kiss back and said "Why thank you princess Theresa "

Theresa replied "Your welcome Prince Ethan, but if you don't putting me down so I can give the proper kiss"

"Why of course, my dear." Ethan answered as he put Theresa's feet back to the ground.

Sparkles were shining into Ethan and Theresa's eyes which they smile at one another and as promise Theresa kissed as she made Ethan feel the fireworks banging with each kiss. As they let go of each other's lips all Ethan could say was

"Wow"

Theresa blushed and giggled as she replied "Wow, Well I guess achieve my promise."

Ethan said "Sweetie, You did more than achieve that promise you made me feel fireworks."

"Fireworks" Theresa surprised what kissing has done to Ethan.

"Yeah and now it is my turn to make you feel the firework with my kissing." Ethan told Theresa

Theresa very interested in what Ethan had to offer she replied "Oh really"

Ethan said "Oh yeah," as he pulled Theresa close his body and as they close their Ethan decide to take slow, which gave a butterfly kiss then slowly putting his arms around her then he dipped her and kissed her with more passion, and love like never before and Ethan had accomplished his goal by showing Theresa the fireworks just like she did to him.

Ethan while continue kissing Theresa Ethan slowly put Theresa back to feet while the fireworks were now flaring between both Ethan and Theresa the fireworks were interrupted when they hear a "hmm". Ethan and Theresa let go of their lips as they turned around to see Theresa's parents starring them with "What **** Are You Doing " look. That is when Theresa pushed away from Ethan as she told her parents.

"Mama, Papa, uh " Theresa trying to change the subject, " Did you see Ethan's new car?"

Pilar said "Ah Yes, Theresa I did very nice car Ethan."

Ethan replied "Thanks Pilar"



Martin walked up as he inspected Ethan's car then Ethan asked "So sir, what do you think of the car?"

Martin asked "Is this a 1968 Ford Mustan?"

Ethan not sure of knowledge of cars he said "Yes I believe so it is a pure classic"

"I agree with you there, nice paint job by the way" Martin replied

Ethan smiled as he said "Thank you sir."

"Listen, Ethan, if you want to pay off this car you need to work hard. So that is why I am asking you if you can work tomorrow from 12pm to 6pm? What do you say?" Martin asked Ethan

Ethan wanted to say "yes" so he can earn a little more extra money to pay for the car, but knew had to say "No". So Ethan told Martin

"Uh I am sorry sir I love for the chance to earn more money to pay off this car, but I can't, but I have to consider this as my two weeks notice."

Theresa, Pilar and Martin were shocked as they yelled "What!"

Ethan said "I know"

Martin very angry and disappointed in Ethan he yelled "No Ethan you don't understand we gave a job when you needed it, Now you just want to throw it away"

Theresa trying to stop her father's tirade "PAPA!"

"MARTIN" Pilar trying to calmed her husband down.

"NO! We gave this guy the chance to prove himself and he has failed miserably."Martin told his wife and daughter.

Ethan trying to explain himself "Please if you let me explain, I promise it is what you think."

Martin not giving the time of day he replied "I am sure it isn't Ethan, you know what Ethan you disgust me and I had enough of promises and your explaining , so I think it is best that you should leave and never see my daughter again that is clear."

Theresa hurting and crying Pilar rushing to her daughter's side to comfort her while Theresa was crying out "Papa please don't this?"

"Theresa this man no good for and I am doing this for your benefit."

Ethan was not going to Martin take the only good in his life "I'm sorry sir but I am not leaving unless Theresa wants to me to leave."

"Ethan if you know what is good for you should leave and now." Martin demanded

Pilar said "Martin stop this your daughter is hurting."

Ethan knew that Martin wasn't going to change and he need Pilar to save him so Ethan said

"No! Pilar , it's okay, I'll leave if that is what your husband wants. Theresa Goodbye."

"Goodbye" Theresa said while tears were running down her eyes.

Then Ethan began to walk slowly back to his car Theresa felt bad enough to words of "Goodbye" and what was she hated watching him to about leave her life for good without knowing that she loved him and that she got into UCLA. That is when she knew she could let this Ethan leave so just as was about to start the engine Theresa ran to stop him as she yelled

"No! Ethan! Wait please" Ethan stopped as he turned off the engine got of the car and immediately rushed to her side and hugging and kissing not wanting to let go.

Martin very furious that Ethan wasn't listening and even more shocked that his daughter behavior that when he told Theresa "Theresa, What are you doing? Don't you see that he is leaving you."

Theresa told her father let Ethan go but still hold his hand. "No! Papa you were the one told him without letting explaining why he quitting, which I am sure that Ethan has very good explanation right Ethan."

"That is right Theresa " Ethan told Theresa

"But"Martin said as Pilar interrupted "Martin, your Miha is right"

Martin couldn't refused his wife's wishes as he said "Alright, fine okay Ethan explain yourself tell us why you're leaving?"

Ethan replied "Thank you, for giving me a chance Theresa to explain why I am quitting and I'm sorry for making all of you upset. I didn't want to nor mean to. Martin and Pilar I just want to say thank you for all that you have giving and I'll be forever grateful to you for giving a job here and letting spend some more time with your beautiful daughter" as he looked at Theresa and smiled at her then he cont. "Now, brings me to why I am quitting I came home earlier today to get the mail to find out that I got accepted into NYU."

Theresa let out another joyful scream as she went back to into his arms and without any regard for her parents she kissed Ethan in the lips as she said

"You got in"

Ethan said as he was holding her and kissed "Yeah, I got in."

She kissed Ethan again as Theresa said "Oh Ethan I am so proud of you"

"Thanks I'm so sorry That got upset and left you." Ethan said

"Ethan all is forgiven, I should be the one saying sorry." Theresa said

Martin said "No, I should be the one saying sorry,"

Ethan put Theresa down as Martin came towards him and Martin said "I sorry Ethan I misjudge you and I understand why you are quitting education is important in a person's life and I am proud of you as well, Congras on getting into NYU" as Martin put out his hand for Ethan to shake, which Ethan did as he replied "Thank you sir."

Martin replied "Your welcome, and please Ethan called me Martin"

"Thank you Martin" Ethan said

Martin motion over to Pilar as he said "Come on Pilar, give this man a gave hug he just got in to NYU"

Pilar did as she was told as came to Ethan gave a big hug and a kiss on the cheek as she whisper in his ear "Your mother would be so proud of you"

Ethan close his hug Pilar tight as he whisper "Thank you Pilar I know she is" then he let Pilar go as said to both Martin and Pilar "Thank you both of you, but now if you don't mind if me and Theresa go to see the fireworks."

Martin replied "Of course go but Ethan you better make sure you take good care of my daughter."

"I always will" Ethan answer" Ethan said

Theresa told her mother and father "Don't worry mama and papa I'll be fine" as she gave her father a hug and a kiss then she gave her mother a hug and just as Theresa was going to give a kiss on the cheek she whisper

"Don't worry mama I'll keep my promise to you."

Pilar said "Thank you Miha" as they both gave each other a kiss on the cheek.

Then Ethan and Theresa left as they got into Ethan's new car they waved goodbye. Pilar and Martin waved back as they watch they two of ride off into the sunset. After Pilar and Martin watch their daughter drive off with Ethan. Martin was about to go inside, which he thought that Pilar was right behide, but she wasn't. Pilar was still standing at the same spot of where she was as she watch Ethan and Theresa drive off and she hope that this was the night of truth and honesty that Ethan would tell Theresa the truth about his childhood past . As Martin saw Pilar with worry look in her face Martin could tell something was bothering his wife's mind.

Chapter 15: The Promise

Slowly Martin came behind Pilar as he put his arms around and have a kiss on the cheek and whispher

"What is on your mind sweetheart?"

Pilar replied "Nothing"

Martin knew she wasn’t being honest he said "Oh come on Pilar, I know and I can tell when something is on your mind so tell me what’s wrong

Pilar pulled away from as she lied to her husband and said "Martin Nothing is wrong okay there is nothing to worry about I am fine."

Martin decided not to go any further with pushing his wife to talk. So he walked passed her towards the restaurant trying to figure out was bothering his wife out of twenty years. Then he as Martin got to the door he finally figure what was wrong with Pilar so turned around as he said

"I know what is bothering you Pilar"

Pilar worry that Martin has figure the truth about Ethan’s past, but just to be sure she replied "You do"

Martin walked towards held her hand and said " Of course I can see it in your face and you don’t need to worry "

Pilar confused as she said "I don’t"

Martin pulled her towards him as he gave a hug and a kiss on the forehead and said "Of course not, Theresa is going to be fine she is safe with Ethan and she will always and still your little girl."

Then Pilar sighed as she was relief because she wasn’t worry about Theresa, but Ethan and his childhood past then Martin asked.

"That is what you were worried about Theresa becoming a woman right?"

Pilar lied "Of course’

"Well, like I said before there is no need to worry. She is going to be fine with a man that we can trust and as you said we would, Now come on lets go " Martin said

Pilar replied "Sure, but I was wondering if you could call me a taxi a home"

Martin said "Yes, I have some cleaning to do with the restaurant and I promise I’ll be before the fireworks start okay"

"Okay" Pilar said

After waiting 15 minutes Pilar’s taxi cab came, but not to take her home to take her somewhere else so she can be alone to release her doubts and worries before arriving to her destination Pilar open her purse as she got her Saint Chirstshpor that mother gave her when was little girl. She held it tight in her hand as she kissed it then Pilar looked out towards the windows as the cab heading into Harmony Manor. A graveyard then the cab stop as the cab driver turned around as he said

"Here you are madam, Do you want me to wait for you."

Pilar replied "Yes, I’ll only be 10 minutes"







As she got the cab and began to walk through the grave yard looking for a certain gravestone with the name of Ivy Winthrop Ethan’s mother and her best friend. Pilar walked to top of a hill little hill where up in the top to see her grave stone which was inraved "Ivy she was more than she just flower, but a rose. Beloved Mother, Wife, Friend" Pilar shed some as she read those words once more. Pilar she always did Pilar just talk to Ivy like she was alive to tell her about her son and his life as she promise Ivy days before she died.

Pilar began with a small prayer while holding her Saint Chirstpher, "Dear Lord, Art thy Heaven Lord thee by name" then Pilar took her other hand as she touch each shoulder then forehead and chin then kissed her Saint Chirstpher once more. Then began talking to Ivy

"Hello Ivy, it is me Pilar, I know it has been awhile since 15 years wow time is flies fast the last talk you I’ve been busy with the restaurant and my family. Anyways I am here to give a update on your son with Sam Ethan oh Ivy if you could see him now you would be so proud of him. He just got in to NYU majoring in admisterative/criminal law just like his father and very handsome just like Sam too. Him and Sam are getting along pretty with his new family and you’ll never believe when I tell you that my oldest daughter Theresa she and Ethan have been dating for 3 months who would have thought are children dating one another. They remind of you and sam were dating and in love. I am sure if their relationship is going to last or not because he hasn’t told her about his past with you and Julian, Well Ivy I just want you to know that I’ve been keeping your promise to you I’ve been watching Ethan as if he were my own son and always love him and be there for him. I love him as much as you love him and I hope you know that because I know that sometimes I have misunderstood you when it came to Ethan, but I understand why you married Julian and passed him off as his son even thought it wasn’t right Ivy I understood why you did, you did it for Ethan, you thought you were doing what was best for him. Well I just want to tell you that I better get going before my cab driver leaves without me. I miss you Ivy, Goodbye"

Pilar began walking away from Ivy grave towards the cab, and as she went down the hill Pilar felt this breeze brush over her as she heard Ivy’s voice said "Thank you Pilar I miss you too." Pilar was shocked as she heard Ivy’s voice as she looked up to the Heavens and smiled as she kissed Saint Chistpher and replied "Your welcome Ivy" then looked back down as she walked back to the cab to go home.

That ending was really cute. I can't wait for you to update. When is Ethan finally going to tell Theresa the truth? I know he has to do it soon, and I really hope nothing will stop him once he starts to tell her. Please hurry with the next update, I'm hooked.

Also another thing by ch. 20 things will never be the same for Ethan and Theresa.

Girl now you have me going crazy! What's going to happen to Ethan and Theresa? They are going to stay together right? Are they going to have a huge fight? Okay you have to hurry up and write till chapter twenty and make it snappy. You've got me scared now. I can't handle this kind of pressure. It will kill me so please write those next chapters and relieve me of my suffering. Naw it's not that bad, but I am worried about Theresa and Ethan now.
