This is my first fic so please don't be so hard on me.

Theresa: How can I do this? I love Ethan. Why am I being forced to stay away from him. My brothers are going to die in prison and mamma's heart will break. Why's this happening to my family? What did we do?

Somewhere else
Ethan: Theresa where are you? I have to find Theresa. I have to tell her something. This will change her life forever.

Theresa: Ethan I wish I could tell you everything. I wish I could tell you about Little Ethan being your son but I have to do what's best for my brothers. I need to get them out of prison. Once I do that then we can be together. I'm sorry I'm hurting you so much. I have to do what the blackmailer wants. I have to have this baby. I have to. I'm so sorry. I don't know what to do.

Whitney: Theresa honey are you okay?

Theresa: No I'm not. I just did the worst thing anyone could possibly do.

Whitney: It can't be that bad, can it?

Theresa: Yes it can. Whitney I'm pregnant.

Whitney: Theresa are you sure?

Theresa: Yes I am. There's a small problem though. I don't know who the father is. I think it could be Ethan, but I'm hoping it's Jared.

Whitney: Okay now you've completely lost me. I thought you were going to be with Ethan and ignore the blackmailer.

Theresa: Whitney the blackmailer tried to kill Ethan. I don't want him to get hurt and I want to help my brothers so I had to do what he wanted me to. If this baby is Ethan's the blackmailer will make sure my brothers die in prison. I can't let that happen. I can't watch another one of my brothers die. I just can't. I have to do what this freak wants me to.

Whitney: Oh honey I wish I could help you, but I can't. Does Ethan know?

Theresa: Yes. I told him I was pregnant with Jared's baby and then I ran out as fast as I could. I just want him to let me go. Then my brothers will finally be free.

Whitney: Theresa what if the blackmailer never lets them go? What if he's only going to keep promising, but he never will keep his end of the deal? What are you going to do then? Are you going to continue to let him run your life?

Theresa: I don't know. Whitney please don't make this harder for me than it already is. I have to let Ethan go and be with Jared for the rest of my life. Why is life so hard? Why am I doomed to never find happiness?

Whitney: I don't know. I wish you could be happy like Chad and me, but I don't what to tell you. I can't help you out this time honey. You'll have to do it all on your own.

Theresa: Thanks for being here for me.

Whitney: That's what friends are for.

Theresa made her way slowly back to the mansion. The tears fell from her eyes down her cheeks to the ground. She wondered around without caring where she went for hours. Her phone rang and she heard the blackmailer's voice over the other end of it.

Theresa: What do want? What more can you do to me?

Blackmailer: You have Jared's baby?

Theresa: I thought you would already know freak.

Blackmailer: Don't call me that Theresa. You know why you're suffering now. It's because you couldn't let Ethan go. Now you're going suffer from that for the rest of your life.

Theresa: Why are you doing this to me? What did I ever do to you? Tell me what it was and I can fix it.

Blackmailer: It's too late Theresa.

Ethan comes up behind Theresa. He places his hand over her mouth for a moment and says his name. Ethan tells her to keep talking to the blackmailer. Theresa nods slowly and continues to talk.

Theresa: You can't keep doing this to me. I'm not going to let you. You know what forget it. I'm going to be with Ethan and there's nothing you can do about it.

Blackmailer: If you do that it will be the last mistake you ever make.

Theresa: Well I don't care anymore. What more can you do to me or my family? The worst is you end up killing us all. I'm not going to let you walk all over me anymore. I'm through listening to you.

Blackmailer: Very bad Theresa. Now your son will have to pay the price.

Theresa: What do mean. What are going to do?

Blackmailer: Theresa Theresa Theresa. You'll never see your son again...alive.

Theresa: What do you mean? Where's Little Ethan? Do you have him?

Blackmailer: Maybe I do maybe I don't. Point is if you don't stay with Jared and away from Ethan I will kill him.

Theresa: You can't do that.

Blackmailer: I can do whatever I want Theresa.

Theresa to Ethan: I think he's got Little Ethan. What are we going to do.

Ethan: I've got something. Theresa keep him on just a little longer. Don't let him get to you. I promise everything will be okay. Little Ethan will be okay.

Theresa to blackmailer: I'm not going to do it.

Blackmailer: Bad Theresa. I suggest you go to Harmony hospital. Maybe you'll make it in time to see Little Ethan one last time.

Theresa: I'm not going to let you get away with this. If anything happens to him I swear I'll kill you.

Blackmailer laughing: I don't think so. You're wasting precious time Theresa.

Ethan: I've got him.

Theresa: I've got to get to Little Ethan.

Ethan: Go. I'll take care of this sick freak.

Theresa: Please be careful Ethan.

Ethan had put a tracer on all of Theresa's phones. It'd taken them weeks before they were able to finally trace a call. The blackmailer had the signal bouncing off so they never could get a direct trace. This time Ethan got lucky. Theresa had been able to keep the blackmailer on long enough. Soon he and Theresa would be together. Soon all this heartache would be worth it. Soon.

Ethan: This is it. Theresa and I will finally be together.

Ethan stepped into the room and saw all the blackmailer's stuff. Pictures once again covered the walls, the computer was there, and he heard the blackmailer laughing.

Blackmailer: Theresa has no idea what's coming to her. Because of her disobedience I will get Ethan and make sure all she loves suffer just I was forced to.

Ethan: Not today creep.

Blackmailer: Ethan my love.

Ethan ran over and grabbed the blackmailer. A struggle occured but Ethan reached out and knocked the blackmailer out cold with his computer. The computer was damaged, but it looked like it could work again in time.

Ethan: I got it. I got the creep.

Sam was confronted by Ivy once again. She begged him to give her a second chance. Sam was refusing her, but he had to admit all he wanted was her. He couldn't stand to watch her being hurt. He could remember every kiss they shared, but then he remembered what she'd done and his heart was once again hardened.

Ivy: Sam I know I hurt you. I know I let you down, but it was because I loved you. I couldn't stand to watch you be with someone besides me. I was angry and I didn't listen to those who warned me not to play with fire. I couldn't let you go. I thought there was a way we could be together. If I could've just let you go, but I didn't. Sam I'm so sorry I hurt you.

Sam: Ivy you didn't just hurt me. You my children. I can't forgive you for that. Jessica wouldn't be married to that creep Spike if it wasn't for you, and Grace would still be alive. I can't just forget about that.

Ivy: Sam I'm sorry. You forgave Kay, why can't you forgive me? I don't know what else to tell you. I don't know how to make you understand me. If I could take it all back I would, but I can't. I understand if you can't love me but at least forgive me Sam. I can't live without knowing that I haven't got your forgiveness.

Sam: Ivy I don't know what you expect. Do you think I can just put all that behind me? Do you think I can just clean Grace out of my mind and forget I ever saw her? Is that what you expect?

Ivy: Sam I'm not asking you to do that. I'm just asking you to give me another chance. Just one more chance.

Ivy reached out and touched his face. He looked at her for a moment and felt his heart slowly melt. Ivy gently pulled his face down to hers. She slowly raised her lips to his and began to kiss him. She felt Sam's arms sweep around her. She leaned into his kiss feeling happy for a brief moment forgetting about all the worries around her. It was just her and Sam. Sam felt a wall start to fall. He felt his heart starting to feel again. All he wanted was Ivy. The phone began to ring.

Ivy: Don't Sam.

Sam: I have to. Hello Sam Bennet speaking... Ethan where are you?... You're sure?... I'll be right over... Ethan be careful... Give me ten minutes...

Ivy: Sam what is it?

Sam: Ethan's caught the blackmailer. I've got to go.

Ivy: Does this mean Luis will be set free?

Sam: I don't know. Just stay here and wait till I call. Don't call anyone else. I might need you later. Until I know for sure what's going on you mustn't call anyone. That includes Fancy.

Ivy: I promise.

Sam: I'll call you.

He left and Ivy sat looking at the phone. She was determined to do whatever he asked her to from now on. Maybe there was still a chance that they would get married and have a family afterall. Nothing was going to stand in their way again.

In another part of Harmony Chad and Vincent were meeting. Chad had once again punched Vincent telling him it was over once and for all. He hadn't noticed that while he and Vincent were talking that Valerie showed up. She watched it all in horror. Vincent was cheating on her with a man? Chad? It couldn't be. Whitney. She'd told her all about Vincent and Valerie was determined to let her know about this.

She slowly walked away and jumped into her car. She was shocked and just sat behind the wheel thinking. She couldn't get over it. All this time she thought it was a woman, but here he was with a man and with Chad. Chad who claimed he was happily married to Whitney. How could he do this to? How could cheat on her when he claimed to love her so much? Valerie sat for another moment before she started her engine and pulled out of the hotel parking lot. She drove straight to the apartment. She jumped out of the car and walked straight to the door and knocked on it.

Whitney: Valerie is something wrong?

Valerie: I found out who Vincent was cheating on.

Whitney: Well who was the tramp? It wasn't someone you knew was it?

Valerie: Oh yes it was. I never thought it would be that person.

Whitney: Well who was it?

Valerie: I'm so sorry Whitney. I don't know how to tell you this, but since you told me about Vincent I have to tell you about this.

Whitney: What are you talking about? How am I involved with this?

Valerie: Vincent is cheating with a man...

Whitney: What?! He's with a man.

Valerie: Please Whitney let me finish. The man is Chad. Chad's been cheating on you with Vincent.

Whitney: Valerie what are you talking about? I know Chad would never cheat on me.

Valerie: I saw him punch Vincent and tell him it was over for good. Then, I saw Vincent pull him into a kiss.

Whitney: Oh my god. Chad's been cheating on me with Vincent?

The phone began to ring. Whitney let it ring until she heard Theresa's voice on the other end.

Whitney: Hey Theresa this isn't really a good time... What?... Is he okay?... Honey just wait... I'll meet you there... What did the doctors say?... Do they give him a chance?... Just stay calm... I'm coming over.

Valerie: What's wrong with Theresa now.

Whitney: Little Ethan is in the hospital. He's been beat up pretty badly and slipped into a coma. Thanks for telling me Valerie. I'll deal with that cheating b@stard later.

Valerie: Well I hope he's okay.

Whitney: Me too.

Julian: This is where Valerie says he lives.

Eve and Julian stood outside a dumpy apartment. Eve looked at the condition and shook her head.

Eve: Julian what happened to him?

Julian: I don't know.

They turned and saw a young man standing behind them.

Man: Can I help you?

Julian: Do you know who lives here?

Man: Yeah. I do.

Sam arrived and he and Ethan together took the blackmailer downtown. Neither of them had yet to remove the man or woman's mask. Sam kept looking back at the sick freak as he drove to the Harmony police station. Ethan's face was girm but all he could think about was telling Theresa their problems were over. They would be together and no one and nothing could stop them. She would leave Jared and then they could be the family with their children just like they'd always wanted to be. Ethan looked at his dad and gave a small smile which Sam returned. Both were silent during the ride. Sam had called a team to clean up the blackmailer's place and take in every scarp of evidence they found. This person was not going to get away this time or any other time. He was finished.

Ethan got out of the car and pulled the blackmailer out. It fell and hit its head. Sam walked over and helped Ethan carry it into the policestation and to a cell. It would stay there until it regained consciousness once it had they would take it to another room where they would begin to question it. After about ten minutes the blackmailer had regained his senses and Sam gradded him into the interrogation room. Ethan was right behind him. This thing held the key to everything, Luis and Miguel's imprisonment, and him and Theresa being together. He was determined to get answers and he wasn't going to leave until he had them.

Ethan: You set Luis and Miguel up and blackmailed the judge to make sure they'd go to prison. You blackmailed Theresa into marrying and Jared and tried to keep her away from me. It's time everyone found out who you were.

Blackmailer: Don't...

Ethan pulled the mask off shocked at what he saw. Staring at him in the face was... Vincent. Vincent the tabloid reporter was the blackmailer.

Sam: Vincent. Why did you do it?

Vincent: I don't know what you're talking about.

Ethan: Oh come on you sick freak. We all know you're the one who's been wreaking evil in Harmony. Why?

Vincent: I told you. I wanted you. Ethan you're mine and no one else can have you.

Ethan: You sick freak. I'm in love with Theresa. I'm going to marry her and you're going to prison for life after what you've done. I promise you that.

Vincent: Well Ethan I don't think you and Theresa will ever be together. You see before all this took place I ordered Theresa to have Jared's baby. You think she's going to leave him when she's carrying his child?

Ethan: You bet I do. And I don't believe a word of this.

Sam: Calm down son. First I want to get some answers. Did you kill JT Cornell?

Vincent: I have the right to a lawyer don't I?

Ethan: You don't have any rights at all. Answer the question D@mnit.

Vincent: No. That was someone else. Someone who had a secret to hide to make sure he could get the woman he loved.

Sam: Who was it?

Blackmailer: That's for to know and you to find out.

Ethan: You're lying. Your eyes moved down and to left, it's a sure thing he's not telling us the truth.

Vincent: Ethan you're so smart. You and I would be perfect together.

Ethan: Shut up you sick b@stard.

Vincent: I love it when you're angry. It really brings out your eyes.

Sam: Answer the questions and say nothing more. Now did you kill JT Cornell?

Vincent: Alright I confess. I did. It was me. I planned everything. I love you Ethan. I needed you, but I knew I couldn't be with you as long as Theresa was around. JT got in the way so I had to get him out of the way. The only way to do that was to kill him. He would've ruined all my plans to be with you. I just couldn't let that happen.

Sam: Did you blackmail Theresa?

Vincent: That was the easiest part of it. It was so easy to get her that it wasn't funny. Theresa thought with all her Crane money and power that she could keep her brothers out of prison and get Ethan. She can't have him. Only I can be with be with Ethan.

Ethan: You're a sick freak. I would never ever be with you. I love Theresa! She loves me!

Vincent: If she loves you so much why couldn't she tell you her secret?

Ethan: Because you scared her into thinking there was no other way! And she loves her brothers too much to let them die because of you!

Whitney had just gotten back from the hospital. Little Ethan was hanging on by the barest thread. The doctors had already done two operations to try and save him. He was bleeding eternally which they did manage to stop but he was in a coma and there wasn't a big chance that he'd come out of this alive.

Chad: Whitney baby what's wrong?

Whitney: You. How dare you come here Chad. After everything you've put me through. All the lies, and the cheating, and everything. Don't touch me!

Chad: Baby what's the matter with you? What happened. 'Oh my God Whitney knows the truth. She knows about me and Vincent. What am I going to do.'

Whitney: I know it all Chad. I know all about you and your affair. It wasn't even with a woman. You were cheating on me with a man! With Vincent! Get out and don't you ever let me see you show your face around here again!

Chad: Whitney please let me explain. It's not what you think.

Whitney: How's it not? Chad how's it not? I thought you were cheating, but each time I thought I caught you I hadn't. So what do I do? Like an idiot I believed everyone of the lies you fed me. I actually thought you were telling the truth. All this time. How long has it been going on Chad? Before the wedding? Or was it after? Huh?

Chad: Whitney calm down. You're angry and upset and you're not thinking clearly.

Whitney: Don't you think I've a right to be upset? I just found out that the man I love and trust has been cheating on me, and not with a woman, with a man! Chad do you think I've got a reason to be angry. And you left out hurt. I'm hurt right now and I don't know what to do. One thing I do know is you've got to leave. I don't ever want to see you again.

Chad: I'm not leaving. I love you baby.

Whitney: Shut up Chad. If you really loved me you wouldn't have cheated on me with Vincent. Now you and him can go off and do whatever. Leave me and Miles alone.

Chad: Miles is my son. I'm not leaving him with you.

Whitney: Chad you don't have a choice. You cheated on me so I'm going to keep my son. Now please leave. I don't ever want to see you around me or Miles.

Chad: I'm not leaving my son with a crazy mad woman.

Whitney slapped Chad as hard as she could. Her anger had reached the boiling point and she wasn't about to take any more of his crap.

Whitney: Chad get out of here before I kill you. I'm leaving you today and Miles will stay with me. I don't care how hurt you are because if you would've been thinking you wouldn't have cheated on me. Since you did I get to tell you how things should go. I get Miles and you get nothing.

Chad: I can see you're still upset. I'll talk to you again soon. Just give me a chance.

Whitney: Chad get out and don't ever come back.

Jared walked down the hall and saw Theresa. He'd received the call that Little Ethan was in the hospital and he wanted to be there for his wife. As he approached he could hear on the phone. He didn't think any thing of it until he heard her say Ethan. He stopped and decided to listen in.

Theresa: You caught him? He's not going to hurt me or my son again? Ethan I wish you were hear. Little Ethan needs both his parents. Well you know you're like his father so you should be here. Actually there's something I need to tell you but it has to be in person. Well leaving Jared is only part of it if you're sure that creep won't ever hurt me or my family again. I just feel so guilty. I do have feelings for Jared and I don't want to hurt him, but I love you and only you. Ethan I just can't wait to be with you. It's all I want. All I want is you standing next to me and holding me in your arms forever. Please hurry. I love you. Okay. Bye.

Jared: How could she do this to me? She doesn't care at all. She just used me. I'll fix her. I'll make her regret that decision if it's the last thing I do.

Jared was too angry to think or go talk to Theresa. He stormed out of the hospital and marched to the nearest bar. As he made his way across the street he bumped into someone.

Jared: I'm so sorry.

Person: That's okay. Jared? How are you?

Jared: Gwen. It's nice to see you. How have you been?

Gwen: Great now that Ethan's out of my life. So did Theresa dump you for Ethan?

Jared: Actually we're married.

Gwen: Oh. I didn't think...

Jared: We're getting divorced. From what I could gather Theresa married me because of a blackmailer and Ethan caught him so now he and Theresa are going to be a family and I'm... I don't know what I'm going to do. But Theresa better watch out or I might kill her.

Gwen: Jared she's not worth it. Why don't you come with me? Maybe it'll help take your mind off things.

Jared: I guess it couldn't hurt.

Back at the hospital things were getting worse. Theresa walked in to check on her son and his heartrate began to drop. Theresa immediately called a nurse in. Soon he slipped completely. Theresa watched as doctors rushed in and began to help him. She watched helplessly as they shocked his body trying to get his heart to restart. Theresa felt the tears fall down her face. She felt so helpless and alone. Then, she felt someone lay a hand on her shoulder. She looked and saw Ethan.

Dr. Matthews: Theresa we've got his heart beating again for now. I don't know how long we can keep him going.

Theresa: Thank you.

She turned and fell into Ethan's arms. For the first time she felt secure. She felt like things could turn out well. She felt like there was a small chance for happiness.

Thanks guys. I am going to have more up soon. I don't like Lancy and I so want Foah to get back together so you can see where I'm going with this. As for Therethan those two should've been together ages ago. Anyway I will have an update up maybe later today or tomorrow at most. I love writing this so check it nearly everyday cause there will probably be an update 9 times out of 10.

Noah watched Fancy as she continued to swallow down glass after glass of vocka. Several times he's tried to cheer her up and forget about Luis, but Fancy was drunk and wasn't listening to him. She just asked for another drink and then she'd swallow it down faster than the one before.

Fancy: You know what's the worst part of this? I won't get to see Luis again. The next time I see him he'll be in a casket and I'll be standing over him crying. I must be doomed never to find love.

Noah: Fancy you're upset and it's understandable, but drinking isn't going to help you. Why don't you go home. I'll take you.

Fancy merely raised her glass and swallowed again. She reached over to take the bottle from Noah but he held it back.

Noah: Fancy you've had enough.

Fancy: Noah come on. It's your job to give me what I want. I want that bottle.

Noah: Fancy you're a mess.

Fancy: Yep that's right. You know drinking won't take away my problem, but it makes me feel better right now so give me that bottle.

Noah: Come on Fancy. I'll take you home.

Fancy: Noah I was that drink.

Fancy dropped her glass and it crashed as it connected with the hard ground. Fancy smiled would've fallen if Noah hadn't reached out and held her. Carefully he picked her up and drove to the mansion. He watched Fancy sleep in the back wishing there was a way for him to make her feel better. There had to be a way to give her hope.

When they arrived he carried her easily up the stairs and to her room. He was turning to leave, but knew she'd need him to there for her when she would finally wake up.

Noah: Fancy I'm so sorry. I wish you could be happy. I know I hurt you when we were in Rome. I didn't want to. I loved you Fancy. I would've done anything and everything to make sure you were safe. That's why I kept it from you. I couldn't let you know or you could've gotten hurt. I wish you could've understood. I wish I would've told you then maybe this wouldn't be so bad for you. You would still be with me. We would still be together.

Noah hadn't realized what he was saying. He also hadn't noticed how close he was to Fancy. He'd started at the door and now he was just the barest inch away from her face. He was so caught up by her he hadn't realized anything else. All he knew was that he still loved Fancy and he wanted to be with her. He gently placed his hand on her forehead and stroked her hair. He bent down and kissed her lips gently. He didn't want to be with anyone else. All he wanted was Fancy.

Jared woke up with an extremely bad headache. He couldn't remember anything about the night before. It was so dark and something was wrong. This wasn't his bed. He looked around confused trying to figure out where he was. He remembered Theresa talking to Ethan very clearly. He could feel his heart breaking. He could feel himself losing everything around him. Why did this always happen to him. He could never find love. He remembered what he'd been through. Ethan was right about his secret, but it wasn't anything Theresa or anyone could understand. No one could ever know what he went through. He was tired of always being second best. He wanted a woman to love him and only him.

He remembered meeting Gwen. He remembered how good she looked. He remembered how unhappy Ethan had always made her. She looked so much better without him. He knew that she'd done what was right. No matter how much he love Theresa he had to let her go or he'd be just like Gwen in the end. He'd be broken and in the end he would end up leaving Theresa because he couldn't stand it anymore. No matter how much it hurt him now Theresa was no longer apart of his life. She was dead forever. The sooner he got it over with the better.

Jared was shocked when he heard someone next to him. He looked over and saw someone sleeping next to him. Jared hadn't noticed before but he also wasn't clothed anymore. He looked again and saw someone with blond hair. Oh great. He went out got drunk and went home with some hooker. Could things get any worse.

Jared was trying to get out of bed without disturbing the person, but she was waking up. He saw her smile and was even more shocked to see Gwen laying next to him. She reached over feeling for him and her hand connected with his chest. Jared lay still trying to figure out what to do. He was sleeping with Gwen. He and Gwen had sex! How in the world could he fix this? He didn't want to be with anyone right now. He was still grieving over losing Theresa. He couldn't be with Gwen or any other woman. He had to get her up.

Jared: Gwen. (He gently shook her trying to get her up.) Gwen.

Gwen: Jared. Jared! Oh my god.

Gwen sat straight up. She looked and saw him sleeping next to her. She turned on the light. Blushes covered her face. She remembered everything that happened the night before. She hadn't intended to get involved, but when she saw how crushed he was over Theresa she'd taken him out to eat. Jared ordered more beers and other drinks than anything. Then, the memories flushed into her mind.

Gwen: Jared I wish you'd quit drinking. It's not going to help you. I know you're hurt now, but things will get better.

Jared: Gwen I don't know how you could ever leave Ethan if you loved him half as much as I do Theresa. I can't stand to think of her with anyone but me. I want her so much. I want to hold her and kiss her all night long and all day, but she wants Ethan.

Gwen: Jared I tried to warn you. Theresa loves Ethan and Ethan only. I told you she would never be able to let him go. The very night I left Ethan she was there ready to comfort him and take advantage of him. I was so angry I didn't care. Theresa was only using you for some sick twisted reason. She's not worth all this.

Jared: I hate Theresa. Gwen I don't know what I'd do without you. You're really beautiful you know. Ethan was a fool for ever letting you slip from his hands.

Gwen looked down and blushed. Jared reached over and held her hand. She looked up and there eyes locked. She reached over and touched his face.

Gwen: It'll get better. Now that you've left Theresa go things will get better for you.

Jared: I think they already have.

He flashed her one of his brightest smiles. Gwen found herself wanting to taste his lips. She controlled herself and merely smiled back. Jared's shirt was unbuckled and she found herself looking at his firm chest. He looked so handsome and she wanted to touch and feel him. She wanted him to feel her.

As the night was coming to a close Jared had drunk enough to make him just bad enough to be able to go home with her. Gwen told him he could take the bed and she would sleep on the couch. Jared insisted on sleeping on the couch. Gwen said it was sweet but since he wasn't feeling well she'd take the couch. Jared smiled again, but this time he seemed willing to relent.

Gwen tapped her hands together wondering how she was going to get through the night without him. She turned and saw that his shirt was off. What she saw was enough to make any girl go mad. How could Theresa ever turn this down? flashed through Gwen's mind. She walked over towards him and said she wanted to get her clothes and she'd change in the bathroom. Jared reached out and swung her in to him. Gwen was so surprised she slammed right into his firm chest. Her hand rested on it and she slowly traced the muscles. She looked up at Jared afraid to speak.

She found herself in bed with him a moment later. She felt his lips touch hers and she threw her arms around him. She pushed her mouth in to his tasting his lips. She couldn't get her clothes off fast enough. Soon the two of them were naked and rolling around in the bed.

Gwen: This is awkward.

Jared: Yeah. Listen I don't remember what happened last night so I'll apologize for anything I did that was inappropriate.

Gwen: No you didn't do anything wrong. It was all good.

Jared: I feel really bad Gwen. I don't remember much but what I do, I'm really sorry.

Gwen: Jared please don't. Everything last night was perfect really. You'd be surprised.

Jared looked at Gwen and wished with all his heart he could remember everything she did. He remembered holding her hand at dinner, but as for everything else he honestly couldn't. He tried hard. Gwen could see he was upset so she reached out and touched his hand. Jared looked up and wanted more than anything to have her. He wanted to touch her skin to feel her lips against his, but instead he turned away.

Jared: I should probably get dressed and leave.

Gwen: You probably should stay here till you feel better. Just sit right there I'll get your clothes if it'll make you feel better, but just stay right there.

Jared: Okay. I'll just stay in bed.

Gwen: Good.

Gwen got up and took the sheet with her. She gave Jared his clothes, then slipped into the bathroom to change herself. When she got out Jared was just putting on his shirt. Gwen smiled as she remembered everything that happened that night. She didn't know if she loved Jared, but she wanted to see more of him.

Julian and Eve were talking to their son and each were enjoying the moment. He looked so handsome. His skin was close to the color of Eve's, but lighter. His eyes were brown and he was about six feet tall. His character was more like Julian's in a good way. He wanted to succeed in the world and he had a plan to do. He said he'd never lost before and he didn't plan on starting to. His name was Jamal.

Jamal: So why are you guys so curious about me? I don't even know who you are.

Eve: Well it's hard to explain. Do you know who your parents are?

Jamal: No. I was told they dropped me off at a door step and left me.

Eve: No that's not true. We did everything we could to find you.

Julian reached out and held her hand. Steadying her for a moment.

Julian: Just calm down.

Jamal: What do you mean you tried to find me? Who are you really?

Julian: We have reason to believe you're our son. Meaning that we're your parents.

Jamal: Okay really what is it with you two?

Eve: We're telling you the truth. You were taken from me at birth and I've never seen you again.

Eve held his hand and pressed it to her lips. She threw her arms around him and felt the tears falling down her checks. She couldn't believe they finally found him.

Jamal: You expect me to believe this without proof?

He didn't push Eve off. He let her cry on him, but still didn't show her any affection.

Eve: If you want proof you can come with me to the hospital right now. We'll have a dna test done and that'll prove we're your parents.

Jamal: You just expect me to welcome you with open arms.

Eve: No I don't. I know this is hard for you to believe. Julian and I tried to find you so many times and at one point we thought we had found you, but it turned out to be some one else's. I won't get into it, but I love you. I've tried so many times to find you and I prayed for you each night.

Julian: We hired investagators, but no one could find you. We tried so many days especially right after we lost you. My son you don't know how happy you've made me. I'm so pleased to see you standing on your own two feet. You won't have to live here any more though. You can come home with us.

Eve: Please my boy, my son. I don't want to lose another moment with you. I just want to be with you from now on.

Jamal: If you don't mind I'd like to think about it. I still don't think this has sunk in. Is there any way I can contact you after I've made my mind up.

Julian: Yes. Here's my card and Eve works at the hospital so you can call there and they'll tranfer you.

Jamal: Okay thanks.

Eve and Julian left a minute later.

Julian: I think he took it well.

Eve: Me too. Oh Julian we finally found our son. We can be together now.

Eve pulled him to her and kissed him. She held him without realizing what she was doing. Julian held her as close as he could loving every moment.

Theresa held Little Ethan's hand praying that he'd get better. She leaned back into Ethan as she felt his strong arms support her. Ethan sat down next to her and held her giving her a shoulder to cry on. He looked at Little Ethan feeling the tears form in his own eyes. How could anyone go after that little boy and hurt him like this? More than ever he hated the blackmailer or Vincent. Vincent was behind all this. He felt so sick he almost couldn't breathe.

Theresa: Thank you for being here Ethan. I don't know what I'd ever do without you.

Ethan: You'll never be without me Theresa. I'm always going to be here for you. I'll never leave you. I love you so much and we can be together now. The blackmailer is behind bars and he'll never hurt you or anyone you love again.

Theresa: Did he confess to framing Miguel and Luis?

Ethan: He's confessed to killing JT and to framing Luis, but he says he didn't do anything in Miguel's case. I think I believe him.

Theresa: How can you say that?

Ethan: Theresa he's admitted to raping Fancy, killing JT, the bartender, starting the fire, framing Luis, why would he hold back on Miguel?

Theresa: I guess I see what you mean. You will be able to free Miguel and Luis right?

Ethan: Luis's second trail has been moved to tomorrow. I have no doubt he'll be cleared of all charges.

Theresa: Thank you so much. Thank you for never giving up.

Theresa turned her attention to her son again when she heard him groan. She reached over and held his hand lost in everything for a moment.

Theresa: We're here. Mommy and daddy are here for you.

Ethan: Theresa what do you mean? Julian's not here.

Theresa didn't hear him and she continued to talk to her son.

Theresa: We're together now and we'll never leave you. Daddy and mommy will make sure no one ever touches you again.

Ethan pulled Theresa away from him and made her focus on him.

Theresa: Ethan how could anyone do this to our son?

Ethan: Theresa this is the third or fourth time you've said that. Julian isn't here and I'm not Little Ethan's father.

Theresa: Remember that secret the blackmailer had against me?

Ethan: Of course I do.

Theresa: It had to do with Little Ethan. I didn't tell you when you were with Gwen because I was afraid you'd take him from me. I found out in Rome and when Gwen left you I was going to tell you, but then Luis and Miguel got in trouble and I had to free them. I had to save my brothers.

Ethan: Theresa it's okay. You know you can tell me anything right?

Theresa: Little Ethan isn't Julian's son. He's yours.

Well thanks guys. Therethan is my favorite couple and Foah is second. So you can see what's going to happen before it does. You just don't know how it's going to happen. I'll probably have an update later today so be on the look out.

Paloma had been trying to get a hold of Noah for the past two hours. She'd been feeling more upset about her brothers and she was hoping he would cheer her up. She'd asked around and someone said he went to the Crane mansion. She got there as fast as she could and asked one of the servants if he'd seen Noah. The man replied he had. He said he was with Fancy. Paloma wasn't worried about it. She thought Noah was just trying to comfort Fancy. She remembered how upset Fancy was the last time she saw her so Noah was probably just trying to help her out.

Paloma made her way up the staircase to Fancy's bedroom. She was just about to open the door when she heard Noah talking. She knew she shouldn't listen in, but she couldn't help herself. She needed to know what was really going on. She cracked the door and breathed and listened as silently as she could.

Noah: Are you feeling any better?

Fancy: Well I'm still drunk which is good. I can't feel anything yet. Except I have this huge headache.

Noah: Fancy don't do this to yourself. Don't get so worked up over Luis's sentenced that you throw your life away.

Fancy: Are you saying Luis isn't worth it?

Fancy was still very drunk and wasn't really thinking. She had this giddy expression on her face that would make anyone feel sorry for her. Noah tried to think of a response that wouldn't sound like he was attacking her or Luis.

Noah: I'm not saying that Fancy. Luis is a great guy and any woman would be lucky to have him.

Fancy: Except now that he's going to die.

Noah: Fancy you don't know that. Don't give up hope yet. Ethan's going to get them out of prison don't worry. He'll save Luis and Miguel you don't have to worry. The whole trial was a joke. Ethan will get them out.

Fancy: Yeah that's what you think. Luis has given up and I don't hold out much for Ethan since the blackmailer is running the show. He'll get to every judge in the country and then Luis will die and I'll die with him.

Noah: Fancy you don't need to put yourself through this. You should try to live on remembering Luis's love for you and trying to do what you think would please him. Don't throw it away now. Be there for Luis. Support him even if it's at a distant. Let him know that you haven't given up yet.

Fancy: How can I do that when I'm not allowed to see him? How can I be there for Luis when I can't visit him? Noah I'd rather die than lose Luis.

Noah: Fancy you have so much to live for. You don't know how many people love and care about you.

Fancy: Like you? Noah I already told you I could never trust you again. We can still be friends but we can't be together anymore. You hurt me too much.

Noah: Fancy I'm not asking you to be with me.

Fancy: I heard you Noah. You said you still love me. I heard everything. I didn't know you still cared, and I'm sorry if you're hurt and upset with me but please let me go.

Noah: Fancy I have let you go. I let you go along time ago.

Fancy: Noah you can't let someone go if you still love them, if you're still in love with them.

Noah: Yes you can. You can love that person enough to let them go. I love you, but I know you love Luis and if he's who you really want to be with I'll let you go. That's what true love really is.

Fancy: So do you love me more than Paloma? When you're with her do you pretend it's me? Is that how you get through life?

Noah: Fancy don't say things like that. I would never hurt Paloma. I do love her.

Fancy: Just not the way you love me.

Noah: I love both of you in a different way. You're two different women.

Paloma could no longer take it. She could see that Noah was lying. She could tell he loved Fancy. His whole being was taken up with her. He couldn't take his eyes off her. He didn't even remember her. It was all about Fancy.

Paloma: Just answer the question Noah. Who do you love more me, or Fancy?

Noah turned around in shock and almost horror seeing Paloma standing right behind him. She'd heard everything he said. In truth he loved Fancy so much more and just being around her again was a relief to his feelings. He didn't want to lie to Paloma, but he didn't want to hurt her. Telling her the truth now would be better than letting her get hurt even worse down the road.

Noah: Paloma you have to know that I love you.

Paloma: That's not what I asked you Noah. You're avoiding the question. Do you love Fancy more than me? Yes or no will do.

Noah: It's not like that Paloma. I still have feelings for Fancy, but I love you.

Paloma: Just like Ethan's feelings for Gwen and Theresa. I know where that went Noah, and I'm not going to get hurt like Theresa did. Gwen was hurt too and she left Ethan. I don't think I could go through something like that Noah. Just answer the question right now. Do you love Fancy more than me?

Noah looked at Paloma's eyes. He could see the pain in them and couldn't answer. He just looked at Paloma silently answering the question in his heart. I love Fancy.

Paloma: Well then it looks like I have my answer. Noah please don't say anything. I know you don't want to hurt me, but lying to yourself and me will only make things worse in the end. I'm going to leave and I think you two have a lot of talking to do, and Fancy I hope you do feel better soon.

Noah: Paloma please wait.

Paloma: Not now Noah. I'm too upset to deal with you. I'm going to go home and think about this and try to comfort my mamma. She's not doing too well and needs me. Goodbye.

Noah sighed. He wanted to run after her but Fancy needed him and he was never going to abandon her again. He sat down next to her bed and held her hand wishing there was some way to make the situation better.

Fancy: Well you handled that nicely.

Noah: Please don't Fancy. Not now.

Fancy: Why don't you run after her. That's what she wants you to do. If you go now you can still get back together.

Noah: Because she was right Fancy. I love you so much more than her. When I'm around you I feel so funny. My knees go weak and my heart starts to beat fast, and I don't know what I feel, except I know what kind of a man I want to be in your eyes.

Fancy: Well Noah I don't know what to tell you. I don't think I can trust right now, but maybe I could in the future.

Noah: Fancy I love you.

Noah bent down and kissed her lips. He savoured it and pulled her close to him. He never wanted this moment to end. His hand reached down under her hair running through it. Fancy pulled him closer to her and unbottoned his shirt. Noah pulled it off and through it on the floor.

Noah: I love you Fancy.

Fancy: I want you Noah.

Noah pulled off Fancy's top and began kissing her neck. Fancy unbuckled Noah's belt and took it off. Noah undid her bra and threw it on the floor. Soon they were both rolling around in the bed making love to each other.

Gwen was determined to make sure Jared wouldn't leave so soon. She wanted to spend time with him and try to get to know him better. No one in Harmony knew much about his past. She wanted to know everything about him. She wanted to be his everything.

Gwen: Are you feeling better?

Jared: Slightly. I'm well enough to leave now.

Gwen: Well before you do I do have a few things I'd like to know about you.

Jared: Really?

Gwen nodded. She smiled a little a batted her eyes at him.

Gwen: If you wouldn't mind.

Jared: I don't think so. Ask away.

Gwen: What were you like as a child?

Jared: What's that have to do with anything?

Gwen: Pieces to fit the puzzle. Come on Jared it's not that hard. Were you happy? Sad? Bad? Give me some clues as to why you're the man you are today.

Jared: Okay you win. Nothing big ever happened in my childhood. I was like other kids had the same problems. I was pretty happy. There were times when I was sad and naughty but for the most part I was obedient. Does that answer your question.

Gwen: Sort of. Okay have you ever been in love with someone besides Theresa?

Jared didn't know how to answer that question. If he said yes Gwen would certainly ask questions about her and he couldn't tell her the truth about her. If he said no Gwen wouldn't believe him and then all his hopes of being with her would be dashed to the ground.

Jared: Yes.

Gwen: How many?

Jared: Just one.

Gwen: What's her name?

Jared: I'd rather not talk about her if you don't mind.

Gwen: Okay how did you get into law?

Jared: Well that's easy, my father was a judge, my grandfather was a prosecuter, my great-grandfather was a defense attorny for murderers. So as you can see there was only one line of work for myself and that was to become a lawyer too.

Gwen: Didn't you have any other dreams? Wasn't there something you would've liked to have been besides a lawyer?

Jared: Not really. Sometimes I wanted to be a super hero like every other kid, you know to get the girls. Sometimes I thought it would be cool to be a race car driver, but for the most part the only thing I ever really wanted was to be like my dad, but I didn't want to be a judge I wanted to be a lawyer. So I worked as hard as I could and lo here I am today standing before you.

Gwen: I guess I can see how you'd be happy with who you are now. So do you think you could love someone again?

Jared: I think I could. In fact I'm almost sure I've begun to.

Gwen was inching closer to Jared wanting to taste his lips again. She gently placed her lips on his and began to kiss him. Jared responded and placed his arms around her. Then he suddenly pulled away.

Jared: I'm sorry Gwen I don't mean to hurt you or anything, but I can't do this, not now. Not after what just happened with me and Theresa.

Gwen: It's okay Jared I understand. I'm willing to wait. You don't need to feel sorry. It's okay.

Jared smiled and leaned back looking at the beautiful woman before him.

A young man got off the plan and looked around at all the sights around him. Nothing had changed since the last time he'd been there. He couldn't wait to see all his old friends. Most importantly he couldn't wait to her... Paloma.

He never could forget her or get her out of his heart. He loved her and he hated it when he told her he had to leave. The should've been married by now, but he'd been gone so long he was afraid to see her. What if she'd moved on and found someone else? What if she didn't love him anymore? He forced these thoughts out of his mind. He'd find all the answers he wanted soon enough.

Cab driver: Where to young man?

Young Man: Can you take me to this adress?

Cab driver: Sure can stranger. So are you here on business?

Young Man: No. I'm here to see an old friend of mine.

Cab drive: Is it a lady friend?

Young Man: What makes you think so?

Cab driver: The way you said it. So am I right?

Young Man: Yes. I was forced to leave last time and break off our engagement. Now I'm back to stay, but I don't know if she'll be as happy as I am to see her. I don't know if she waited for me or if she's moved on. I'm just praying.

Cab driver: What's your name?

Young Man: Roberto.

Theresa: Ethan did you hear me? Your Little Ethan's father. I found out in Rome. JT told me.

Ethan: Theresa how could you do this to me? Why didn't you tell me he was my son?

Theresa: Because Ethan I was afraid you would take him away from me. You took Jane from me and I couldn't stand the thought of losing my son too, especially when you'd already tried before.

Ethan: Theresa Julian was going to take him away from and I would've helped. Oh God why couldn't you trust me enough to tell me this. Gwen left me so long ago you could've told me at any point. Why did you wait until now?

Theresa: That was the secret the blackmailer had on me. If I told you that Little Ethan was your son he would no longer be a Crane, therefore I would lose all the power I had to help my brothers. Ethan you just don't understand. I wanted to tell you so many times, but how could I watch my brothers go to prison?

Ethan: This wouldn't have happened if you would've told me in the first place. Theresa all your secrets have gotten you into trouble I thought you would've learned your lesson by now. Instead you haven't and you keep doing the same things over and over again.

Theresa: Ethan please try to understand...

Ethan: Theresa I don't want to understand. My son could die and it's because you didn't trust me.

Theresa: Ethan please don't do this to me. This is another reason why I was afraid to tell you. I was afraid you wouldn't understand and you'd hate me and leave me forever. I was afraid I'd lose you and I can't Ethan I just can't lose you! If I lose you now I could die! I've lost so much. I can't stand to do it anymore!

Theresa was yelling now without any thought of what this could do to her son. She felt like her world was falling around. All this stress wasn't good for her. She began to feel some of it's affects. She was three and a half months pregnant and even though it was still very early Theresa felt incrediable pain. She grasp at her stomach and began to sink to the floor. Ethan suddenly realized something was wrong.

Ethan: Theresa are you alright? Theresa can you hear me?

Theresa blacked out. She awoke in a bed feeling very strange. Her head ached acutely and her body felt numb. She felt like someone was trying to glue her eyes together. She couldn't open them.

Ethan: Theresa can you hear me? Sweetheart are you there? Oh God please let Theresa be alright. Don't let her be hurt. Please.

Theresa: Ethan.

Ethan: Theresa honey are you alright?

Theresa: I think so.

Theresa opened her eyes and tried to sit up.

Ethan: Don't just lay still. The doctor said you were under too much stress and the baby couldn't handle it.

Theresa: I'm so sorry Ethan.

Ethan: Shhhh. Just forget about it. You need to stay calm. We'll talk when your feeling better.

Ethan kissed Theresa and stayed with her until she fell asleep.

You know I was planning for him to understand but as I started writing that scene my fingers started to do that and when I read it over I thought it made sense. He was angry, but he would've cooled off. Since Theresa was pregnant and I've seen many of those I knew that sometimes the slightest things could make you have pain, early delivery, and many other complications so I added that in, too. The next chapter Ethan will understand and he will apologize to Theresa so things do get better for her, and really everyone else in Harmony. Well not everyone per-say. I'll just shut up before I blow everything.

Theresa: Ethan have you told mamma the good news yet?

Ethan: No I've been worried about you. Actually the trials in a couple hours. Theresa I don't want you to go. I want you to stay here and rest up. I'll let you know how it went as soon as I can.

Theresa: Ethan I have to be there for my brothers. I need to be there with them.

Ethan: Theresa you're not well enough to go down there. Now I blame myself for this, I was angry and I wasn't thinking clearly and because of that you got hurt and I'm not sure how this will affect the baby long term. I'm so sorry for doing this to you Theresa. I'm sorry for everything I ever put you through. For not leaving Gwen, for tormenting you, for giving you hope and then snatching away from you, for using for my own selfish desires, and everything else. I love you Theresa and I want you to know I never meant to hurt you, but I was blinded and I was a complete fool.

Theresa: Ethan I never blamed you for anything. I was to blame for always running after you and trying to come between you and your wife. I just knew that you loved me and I thought that no matter what I did it would be justified since I did it in the name of love, but the truth is I hurt myself and you. Ethan I should be the one to apologize for putting you through everything and being a terrible mother to my children.

Ethan: Stop right there Theresa. You were never a bad mother to Little Ethan or Jane. You did the best you could for them and no one could ever ask for anything more. You were willing to die for them, Theresa listen to me you would never do anything to hurt them.

Theresa: But Little Ethan is in the hospital right now because of me. I talked back to the blackmailer and when he told me about Little Ethan I didn't believe him and because of it Little Ethan could and Ethan it's all my fault.

The tears were falling down Theresa's face as she spoke. Her heart rate started to go up. Her breathing was becoming laboured.

Ethan: Theresa calm down. Take deep breaths and try to relax. It's not your fault. None of this is your fault. If you're going to blame anyone blame the blackmailer. He's the one who hurt your, our son not you.

Theresa smiled softly. Her breathing began to be normal again.

Theresa: You said it.

Ethan: Said what?

Theresa: Our son. He's our son. Little Ethan is yours and mine.

Ethan: I know. I love him and you. Don't worry about him. The doctor said he is getting better. Eve just got back and she's running test on him. So stay calm if you can and look after the baby and yourself, don't worry about your brothers or Little Ethan because everything is going to get better from here on out, I promise.

Theresa: I know you're right, Ethan, but I can't help but worry. You said you can get Luis off for sure, but you're still not sure about Miguel. Ethan what if he is still sentenced to life? What am I going to do?

Ethan: Theresa it's going to be okay. I highly doubt Miguel will get a sentence that heavy. Even if he's convicted I doubt he'll spend more than ten years in the prison, and considering everything else that's happened I'm sure that'll be okay for your mother and Miguel.

Theresa: But to go to prison again for something you didn't do and for ten years! Ethan I don't want Miguel to ever go back.

Ethan: I know you don't, and don't worry about it. The added stress isn't good for you or the baby.

Theresa: Ethan I don't know about this baby.

Ethan: What do mean, Theresa? Is something wrong?

Theresa: I'm sure the baby is fine, but what about Jared? If this is his baby what will I do? I can't just up and walk out of his life and take his child away from him, can I? I wouldn't want this baby to grow up without it's father, and even though I know you'd love it and treat it like it was your own it's not fair to him to grow up without knowing his real father.

Ethan: We don't know anything as of yet Theresa, and worrying about something you can't change isn't going to make matters better. I thought you knew for sure the baby was Jared's.

Theresa: I did, but didn't I also think Little Ethan's was Julian's and look how I was proven wrong there. Ethan do you know how many times you and I were together during the time this child was conceived? I have no idea who the father is and even though I'm almost sure it Jared's there's another part of me that says you are.

Ethan: We'll find out who the father is after the child is born. We'll have a DNA test done and whatever comes up I will be there for you Theresa. I'm never going to leave you again. I promise to stay by your side no matter what happens.

Theresa: I love you so much Ethan.

Ethan: I love you, too.

Ethan bent down and kissed her lips. As they both apart both of them smiled at each other. They were finally going to be together. Nothing was ever going to seperate them from each other. Ethan gently stoked her face and kissed her again. Then, he picked up the phone knowing Pilar was still ignorant of everything that had happened and it was time to let her know the truth.

Ethan: Paloma can you put your mother on? I've got some good news. Thank you.

Pilar: Yes Ethan what is it?

Ethan: First are you sitting down?

Pilar: No. Why? Has something happened? Are my sons...

Ethan: I've got good news for you, actually great news.

Pilar: I'm ready. Tell me the truth Ethan.

Ethan: I said it was good news Pilar. We caught the blackmailer.

Pilar: Thank God, thank God.

Ethan: We caught him late yesterday. I'm sorry I didn't call you sooner, but Little Ethan was hurt and sent to the hospital so I came here to be with Theresa.

Pilar: Is my grandson alright?

Ethan: Yes. He's pretty banged up, but I expect him to get better soon.

Pilar: What about the blackmailer? Did he confess to framing Luis and Miguel?

Ethan: Yes and no.

Pilar: What do you mean?

Ethan: He admits to framing Luis for the fire, killing both Ray and the bartender, and the rape charges...

Pilar: Thank God. My Luis is going to be freed. He's not going to die. What about Miguel?

Ethan: Well that's what is bothering me.

Pilar: Ethan what is it?

Ethan: The blackmailer admits to everything that Luis has been charged with as his doing, but when it comes to Miguel he insists he had nothing to do with it. I don't know what to make of it. He will admit to three murder charges, multiple accounts of rape, not to mention the fire and everything else including the blackmail of the judge and Theresa, but he won't admit to framing Miguel for attempted murder. Pilar I wish I had better news concerning Miguel but I think I can get him off even though the blackmailer doesn't admit to framing him.

Pilar: Ethan if Miguel goes to prison I don't know what I'd do. I can't stand to think of him spening the rest of his life in prison. He doesn't deserve that. You and I both know that he's innocent.

Ethan: Pilar please try to calm down. Even if Miguel is convicted which I strongly doubt he will be I don't think any judge would be willing to place him in prison for the rest of his life, I don't think he'll get more than ten years if that.

Pilar: It's not as bad as I thought it would be, but Ethan I don't want my son to go to prison it's not exactly a place where my boy belongs.

Ethan: Pilar I highly doubt he will be convicted. Think positively. I've no doubt I can get Luis off the hook for all these crimes and Miguel will most likely be found not guilty because I'm sure that no one could believe he did it after everything the blackmailer already confessed to.

Pilar: Ethan who is this blackmailer? Why did he do this to my sons in the first place?

Ethan: I don't know all the answers yet Pilar. I can tell you that the blackmailer was Vincent and he claimed he did it all for me.

Pilar: You?

Ethan: I'd rather not go into detail about Pilar.

Pilar: When is the next trial taking place?

Ethan: It'll be today at three. Will you be there?

Pilar: Of course. Do Luis and Miguel know?

Ethan: Yes. They know about the new trial, but I haven't had the chance to fill them in on the blackmailer or anything else that has taken place.

Pilar: Thank you Ethan. Thank you for never giving up on my sons.

Ethan: You don't need to thank me. I was more than willing to prove my friends innocent of these crimes. I'll see you at three.

Pilar: Give my love to Theresa.

Ethan: I will.

Ethan looked back at Theresa and found her sleeping. He smiled softly to himself. She looked like an angel laying there. He couldn't believe she was finally going to be with him. He and Theresa would be a family with their two children. Ethan smiled to himself as he thought about the life they were going to have together.

Paloma: Mamma what did Ethan say?

Paloma had gone outside while her mother was talking to Ethan to get some fresh air. The whole house seemed to be in despair and Paloma couldn't take it anymore. Since she lost Noah her world seemed to be falling apart on all sides. Luis was going to die, and Miguel would be in prison for the rest of his life, and now Noah was left her and her mother might die if Luis did. Paloma just couldn't take it another moment. She had to get out. Now she needed to be there for her mother incase even worse news came out like Luis was already dead.

Pilar: They've got another trial date set for today at three.

Paloma: That's good news mamma. Maybe this time Ethan can clear Luis and Miguel.

Pilar: They caught the blackmailer.

Paloma: Really? Now they can prove that Luis and Miguel were set up my brothers will be free.

Pilar: The blackmailer was Vincent the tabloid reporter.

Paloma: Vincent? Why would Vincent set my brothers up?

Pilar: Ethan didn't tell me too much about that, but he said he confessed to setting Luis up so today my son will be coming home.

Paloma: That's great mamma. What about Miguel? What did he have to say about Miguel?

Pilar: The blackmailer said he had nothing to do with Miguel's framing. I don't know what will happen to him.

Paloma: We have to hopeful mamma. Things are getting better. Luis won't die and Miguel will be okay, too. Don't worry.

Pilar: I'm not worried. My prayers have been answered. My boys will be alright.

They turned when they heard someone knock at the door.

Paloma: I'll get it mamma. You rest.

Paloma went to the door and opened. She was shocked when she saw Roberto standing before her. She reached out and touched him hardly believing her eyes.

Roberto: Hey Paloma. Long time no see. How have you been.

Paloma: Mamma I'm going to take a walk. I'll be back in a little while.

She shut the door and tugged him along with her. She didn't speak she just looked down and the ground.

Roberto: Paloma are you alright?

Paloma: Why did you come back?

Roberto: Paloma I wanted to see you. I've been working hard to become a U.S. citizen and now I finally will become one.

Paloma: Really? You're going to be become an American citizen?

Roberto: Yes. I've been working so hard to see you.

Paloma: To see me?

Roberto: Paloma we were engaged. I've never stopped loving you and I don't think I ever could. I couldn't get you out of my heart so I ran back here. I love you Paloma.

Paloma: Reberto now isn't a good time.

Roberto: You found someone haven't you?

Julian received a call from his son saying he thought about it and went over all the stuff they'd given him and he decided that he wanted to come home with them. He said he wanted to feel loved by his real parents and he couldn't be happier that they'd finally found each other. Julian called Eve and she told him that she'd be over to welcome her son home.

Julian: Well son you look good. Is that all your luggage.

Jamal: Most of it.

Julian: I'll have someone carry it to your new room.

Jamal: This is where you live? It's huge.

Julian: Well you're a Crane now so nothing but the best.

Eve: Julian don't go starting off on that just yet.

Julian: What do you mean Eve?

Eve: Well it's just I don't want you filling his head with all the power you get since he's the son of a Crane just yet.

Julian: I see. Would you like to sit down and talk?

Jamal: Yes I would. So how long have you guys been looking for me?

Eve: Well we started looking the day you were taken away from us, but I never found you no matter how hard I looked. Julian hired investegators, but no one found a trace of you. We tried again a couple years ago and we thought we found our son but it turned out that he was the son of Alistar. Then, just a little while ago Valerie started looking for you after I received a phone call saying that you were my son and we finally found you.

Jamal: So you really do love me?

Eve: With all my heart.

Jamal: But you hardly know me. You don't know anything about me.

Julian: It doesn't matter anymore. You're our son and as such we would love you no matter who you were or what you'd become and no matter with we spent every minute with you or just ten.

Jamal: So are you together?

Eve: No. We were separated for a while and then there was a time where I would've went back to Julian but old habits die hard and I can't be with him ever again.

Jamal: I'm sorry.

Julian: It's not your fault son. I just want you to be happy and know that we love you.

Jamal: I believe I do. You have gone through a lot to find me, and I probably don't know half the things you went through just to get to this point. That proves to me that you love me and you would do anything for me which I believe is what true love really is.

Julian: Well said my son.

Fancy had woken up next to Noah and felt terrible. How did this happen? She loved Luis. At least that's what she kept telling herself. But Noah was her first true love and she couldn't help thinking about that night. She and Noah couldn't get enough of each other and it was better than anything she'd remembered from when they were together. She could just let him go now that they had a chance to be together or could she? How could she abandon Luis so soon?

Paloma. How could she hurt Paloma like this. Paloma had been her one friend that had stayed with her through thick and thin no matter what, how could she do this to her? Paloma had been the one to support her with Luis and she helped bring them together and now she stole her boyfriend? She was the worst friend possible. She knew Paloma was listening and that's why she made Noah say the things he did which made Paloma want to know the truth. Why did she have to hurt her like this? Maybe she was meant to be with Noah.

Noah. How could she explain what'd happened that night? She and Noah had made passionate love like none she'd ever experienced before. Noah loved her and she didn't want to hurt him or watch him suffer like he had in Rome. In Rome, however, is where he cheated on her and he didn't seem to care. Fancy felt the anger growing inside her again, but as she continued to think about that night she couldn't get over it. Her whole body began to crave for Noah. She wanted to feel his touch again. She wanted his hands to be all over her body. She wanted to be kissed by him again and no one else. The only thing she wanted was Noah. She turned and looked him as he slept next to her. He was the only man that she could ever truly love and want to be with. She wanted Noah more than any other man.

Luis. Oh God how could she explain any of this to Luis. She remembered he told her to move on and find someone new, but to do it pratically overnight and to admit she'd slept with him, or worse admit it was Noah. What was she going to do. After everything she had gone through to be with him she felt like she owed him more than that. She knew she had to see him. No matter what she had to see him and tell him that once and for all it was over between them. Could she do that? Could she crush him like that? Fancy prayed she'd have the courage. No matter how much she loved Luis she loved Noah more and she didn't know how she could ever be without him.

Fancy slowly got out of bed shocked to see it was already after ten. She dressed as quietly as she could and left Noah to sleep. She wrote him a little note saying that she had to leave, but she'd be back soon. She couldn't let him know where she was really going.

Fancy hopped into her car and drove to the prison. She didn't know how she could see Luis since he took her off the list, but she decided to use a different name. He wouldn't know who she was and by the time he found out it would be too late. The guards might reconize her and that was a problem. She stopped off at a clothing department and bought some ugly clothes and dorky glasses. Lastly she made her hair style something like a fried look. Fancy smiled to herself. This should get her in.

She took the guard her name and who she'd like to see and then waited for Luis to show up. Luis looked surprised when he came into the room and seeing some strang girl sitting down looking at him. He couldn't recongize her which is just what Fancy wanted. When the guard left she began.

Fancy: Luis it's me.

Luis: Fancy I told you I didn't want to see you again.

Fancy: I know but I had to see you.

Luis: I'm leaving.

Fancy: Luis I've decided to move on!

Luis slowly sat back down. Fancy locked her eyes with his and tried to determine if he was really hurt by the news. She couldn't read anything.

Luis: Fancy I've got a retrial today.

Fancy: You do?

Luis: Yes. I was hoping you'd be there for me. You know if Ethan gets me off we can be together.

Fancy: Luis I don't know what to say.

Luis: Say you'll be with me.

Fancy: Luis I don't know if I can.

This time Fancy saw the pain written on his face. How could she do this to him? She did love him, wasn't that enough? She thought about her brother Ethan and knew that he loved Gwen, but he loved Theresa more and that's what torn him apart.

Fancy: Luis I never meant to hurt you, but you've been here for two months now and I didn't get to see you and I never heard from you so I decided to move on with someone and I don't know what to do. I do love you, but it's not the same way that I love this other man, and I don't want to hurt you anymore.

Luis: It's okay Fancy. I told you to move on and I'm glad you did. I'm glad you found someone to be happy with. Who's the lucky man? Anyone I know?

Fancy: You know him, but I don't want to tell you his name.

Luis: Fancy come on. Just tell me who it is. I promise I won't be upset.

Fancy: Noah.

Fancy could barely breathe as she said his name. She didn't know how Luis would take the news but she knew she couldn't keep the truth from him forever and it was better to get out and in the clear now before someon else got hurt.

Luis: Noah! Fancy you hate Noah. You said you could never be with the man after the way he hurt you. You went back to Noah! Noah isn't even with you he's with Paloma!

Fancy: That all changed yesterday.

Luis: You mean just yesterday you decided you love Noah and that was it?

Fancy: Luis it wasn't like that. I've always loved Noah, but I was hurt, angry, confused, and you were there so I convinced myself that I loved you and Noah was just a memory to me. Last night I was so upset I got drunk, but Noah came and he took one look at me and took the bottle away from me and took me home. Neither of us planned for anything to happen but while he was talking to me, he thought I was sleeping, he began by telling me not to lose hope that you'd come back to me and then he started saying that he loved me. I couldn't believe it and it was then that my feelings for him began to surface again and I began to feel for him. He told me that he loved me enough to let me be with you and he wouldn't get in the way with us.

Luis: Than why the **** are you two suddenly together. Fancy he told you to be with and not to lose hope so you decide what? Did you come right out and tell him that you loved him? Is that what you did? If you did Fancy I'm sure you don't love him it was just that you were caught up in the moment. You don't love him it's me that you truly love.

Fancy: Luis please be patient with me and let me finish and don't interrupt me. I don't know if I'll have the courage to do this is you do. Later I saw Paloma at the door and I don't know what came over me but I wanted to end their relationship. I began making Noah say all things he's told me when he thought I was sleeping and Paloma ran into the room and demanded Noah to tell her the truth about who he really loved. Noah didn't say anything so Paloma ran out saying that that was his answer and she couldn't talk to him right then in front of me. I asked Noah to stay with and not go after her and then I don't know what happened really. We were talking about us I think and then we kissed and we couldn't stop there we had to be with each other again. It was only this morning when I woke up did I think about what really happened and I didn't want to hurt you but Luis I've never loved you. I realize that now. I wanted to close the hole in my heart and you were there so I thought you were the man that I really loved, but now I know it's true that Noah is the only man for me.

Luis: Fancy I want you to know that I'm very angry, but it's like Noah said, if I really do love you I'll let you go. If you really love Noah I won't stand in the way.

Fancy: Do you really mean that Luis? You won't be mad at me?

Luis: It's not going to be easy Fancy, but I'm going to let you go. I know it's the only thing I can do.

Fancy: Thank you Luis. You don't know how much this means to me.

Luis only nodded. Fancy arose and left the room. The guard re-entered and took Luis back to his cell until it was time for him to leave for the trial.

Fancy felt lighthearted and even though she knew Luis was hurting he'd told her it was alright and she could be with Noah. She sped back to the mansion and quickly fixed her hair and put on decent clothes before she ran to Noah. Noah was up and dressed he was explaining that he'd read her note when she threw her arms around him and began to kiss him. Noah was surprised and asked about it, but Fancy merely smiled and then took off his shirt and threw him on the bed. She jumped on him and began kissing him again. It was going to be a long afternoon.

Great dialogue and storyline! As a Lancy fan, I'm a little sad about Fancy and Noah, but I really like the way you had Fancy be straightforward and honest with Luis. Now I just wonder how Paloma's going to take it...

Theresa got out of the bed and walked down to Little Ethan's room. Eve cleared her to get up, but she couldn't be under any kind of stress. Little Ethan was awake and he wanted to see his mommy. Theresa wasn't about to deny him that. She walked in and smiled when she saw her little boy looking at her with his big beautiful eyes. She reached down and gently touched his head, then kissed his forehead silently.

Theresa: How are you feeling?

Little Ethan: My head really hurts and chest hurts, too.

Theresa: I'll ask Dr. Russel to give you more pain medication and that'll take the pain away, okay? I'll be right back.

Theresa walked out the hall to the nurse's station. She asked them to page Dr. Russel so she could ask her about the pain medication for her son. The nurse complied and in a moment Theresa saw her coming down the hall.

Eve: Yes Theresa.

Theresa: Little Ethan is in a lot of pain right now. Would it be safe to give him another dose to help dull the pain.

Eve: Theresa I'm a little uneasy about it because he's so young, but since he's in pain I can give him a small dose to help ease it.

Theresa: Thank you.

They walked back into the room together and Eve smiled at the boy. She asked him some questions about the pain while she admistered the drug and said that should make him feel better.

Theresa: Do you know what happened? Can you tell mommy who did this to you.

Little Ethan: I don't know who it was some horrid thing. He came up behind me and said my name. I didn't know who it was. I turned and it was...was...

Theresa: A half man half woman?

Little Ethan: I guess you could say that. Mom where's Uncle Ethan? He was here a while ago, but now I can't find him?

Theresa: He had to go to court today. But I have some news that'll surprise you about Ethan. I hope you'll like it.

Little Ethan: Is it good news?

Theresa: We think so.

Little Ethan: Than I want to know it.

Theresa laughed when she heard him say that. He was so innocent to the ways of the world. So pure and untouched. She didn't know what she would do without him. He was her pride and joy.

Theresa: Well you know how you think Julian is your daddy?

Little Ethan: Yeah.

Theresa: A test was done and it proved the Julian isn't your real father.

Little Ethan: But you said he was. Why isn't he?

Theresa: I thought he was because someone said so. It turns out that Ethan is your daddy.

Little Ethan: Are you sure? Cause you always said Julian was now you want me to believe Uncle Ethan is? What if you're mistaken?

Theresa: I trusted someone and this person lied to me and deceived me, but someone came to me with prove that this person lied and so I believe with all my heart that your are Ethan's son.

Little Ethan: That's what I always wanted! I always wanted Uncle Ethan to be my daddy. Did you tell him?

Theresa: Yes I did. He's very excited about it.

Little Ethan: Do you think Uncle Ethan will want me to call him daddy?

Theresa: I know he does. He can't wait to be your father.

Little Ethan: I'm so happy mommy.

Theresa: Me, too.

Little Ethan yawed so she told him to get some rest and they could talk more. She walked out of the room and quietly shut the door.

Jared: So this is why you're going back to Ethan because Little Ethan is really his son.

Theresa: Jared. How long have you been listening?

Jared: Long enough. I know you're going to run back to him and he'll take you in like nothing was wrong. What about me? When were you going to tell me?

Theresa: Soon. I probably would've told you today. I didn't want you to get hurt or to find out this way by piecing it together.

Jared: How wasn't I going to get hurt? I love you Theresa.

Theresa: I love you too.

Jared: Then why go back to Ethan?

Theresa: Because I love him more than you. Jared I'm so sorry but Ethan is the only man in my heart and even though I do care for you it's not in the way that I love Ethan.

Jared: Why did you marry me? Why did you have to put me through this? Theresa answer me honestly.

Theresa: You know all about the blackmailer from what I told you.

Jared: I don't know all about the blackmailer Theresa because you wouldn't tell me your secret although now it's pretty obvious.

Theresa: I never meant to hurt you Jared but the blackmailer said if I didn't marry you he'd make sure Luis would get the death penalty, and Miguel would spend the rest of his life in prison. I had to protect them.

Jared: You had to protect them? I supposed you did. I know how much you love them, but couldn't you have trusted in me enough to tell me? I would've understood Theresa.

Theresa: Would you Jared? Be honest with me, would you have married me if you knew the only reason I was doing it was because someone was blackmailing me?

Jared: I don't know. I wouldn't want it to be a real wedding but I would've tried to help you out.

Theresa: The blackmailer knew everything every word I said everything I did he would've known if that wedding was a fake or the real thing. I couldn't tell you because he/she didn't want me to and then where would my brothers be?

Jared: Well after they were sent to prison why did you still presist in leading me on like this? I can't believe I thought you had actually gotten rid of Ethan from your heart and replaced him with me. Do you know how much I went through just so I could show you how much I love you?

Theresa: You took a bullet for me and almost died. Yes Jared I know and I'm sorry I ever hurt you, but I had to free my brothers and this was the only way I knew how. I'm really sorry.

Jared: Well Theresa I won't fight you in court for anything. You can get a quick easy divorce and I'll walk out of your life forever.

Theresa: What about the baby?

Jared: What about it?

Theresa: If you're the father I do want you to be involved in his or her life.

Jared: What do you mean if? How can there be any doubt?

Theresa: Jared I don't want to tell you this, but I was with Ethan during our entire marriage. I told myself and him I would never cheat on you and that I was married, but I couldn't resist Ethan.

Jared: I guess I should try to be understanding.

Theresa: I don't expect you to understand.

Jared: What do you expect?

Theresa: I expect you to be angry and hurt, but I also expect you to try and think about what would be best for this baby.

Jared: I'm staying away from you as much as possible until that baby's born. It's too painful for me to be around you. I'm sorry Theresa and I know you might now understand but just call me when it's born or better yet wait until after a DNA test is done to see if Ethan is the father or not. Unless you've been sleeping with someone else there shouldn't be any doubt as to who the father is now should there?

Theresa: Jared please don't. Do you know how long I've loved Ethan and how long I've been trying to be with him? I couldn't just erase him from my heart when you walked in. I cared for you but when I'm with Ethan something happens that I can't describe. I hope you find someone who will love and cherish you the way you deserve to be Jared.

Jared: Well I hope Ethan makes you happy.

Ethan stood in front of the judge. He called his first witness Vincent. Vincent was brought into the court room wearing handcuffs. He swore that he'd tell the truth and then sat down.

Ethan: Vincent would you care to explain to the court what you do for a living?

Vincent: I'm a tabloid reporter.

Ethan: Would you please tell the court what you've been doing in your spare time?

Miss Nancier: Objection your honor, relevance?

Ethan: You'll have relevance in a moment your honor I promise.

Judge Reilly: Overruled. Proceed.

Vincent: Well I have my hobies of course, and my girlfriend, well actually now it's ex.

Vincent laughed. The judge ordered him not to make any remarks like that and just answer the questions and no laughing.

Ethan: Would you please tell the court how you're involved in Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald's case.

Vincent: Well I guess you could say I framed him.

Ethan: Please be specific.

Vincent: Alright. I framed Luis for the rapes, murders and the arson. It was really easy to do, too.

Judge Reilly: I've already explained to you the rules of this court room. Simply answer the question with no other remarks do I make myself clear?

Vincent: Yes your honor.

Ethan: You admit to framing my client for all the crimes against him?

Vincent: Yes I do.

Ethan: Your honor I move to dismiss all charges against my client Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald.

Judge Reilly: Does the prosecute wish to object?

Miss Nancier: No your honor.

Judge Reilly: Very well then motion granted. Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald is hereby cleared of all charges against him and they shall be stricken from his record.

Pilar: Thank you God! Luis you're free!

Judge Reilly: Order in the court room if you please.

Pilar: Thank you Ethan.

The tears streamed down her cheeks as she watched her son be freed from the cuffs and be allowed to leave. She threw her arms around him.

Pilar: Luis I love you. I'm so happy right now.

Luis: I know mamma. You don't know how glad I am to be free. I love you. Where is everyone?

Pilar: Paloma went on a walk and Theresa is with Little Ethan at the hospital.

Luis: Is Little Ethan alright?

Pilar: Yes. Ethan told me he'll make a full recovery.

Luis: What happened?

Pilar: Vincent attacked Little Ethan because Theresa would no longer give in to him.

Luis: I should kill that ******* now.

Pilar: No Luis. Please I don't want you to go to prison ever again.

Luis: It's alright mamma. It's Miguel's turn now. I wonder what will happen.

Ethan: Your honor I would like some time to get ready for my next case if you please.

Judge Reilly: I'll give you half an hour Mr. Winthrop.

Ethan: Thank your honor.

Miguel: So how do you plan to get me out?

Ethan: I don't know Miguel. Vincent still claims he didn't frame you and he won't tell me who did. I'm going to put Fox back on the stand and something like I did before. Now that the judge isn't being blackmailed I'm sure I can get you off the hook as well. I just need Fox to get here. He said he'd be here by now.

Kay burst into the court room. She ran to Miguel smiling. Without thinking she kissed him. Miguel looked up and saw Fox standing in the door way watching.

Miguel: Kay not in front of Fox.

Kay: Why not? Miguel you're the man I love and I'm not going to let anything get in the way now.

Miguel: You're still married to him and he looks hurt at such an open display.

Kay: Since when do you care about Fox or not.

Miguel: Since I might get out and be with you. I don't want to hurt the man anymore than he is now please Kay no more not until you're completely free to be with me.

Kay: Alright. Miguel I can't wait!

Fox: Kay darling we should take a sit now.

Miguel: Didn't you tell him?

Kay: Yes, but I don't think it's sunk in yet.

She smiled back at Miguel and sat away from her husband. She didn't care about Fox and he'd have to except that.

Ethan walked out of the court room and called Theresa.

Ethan: How's our son?

Theresa: He's fine. Resting now.

Ethan: What's wrong?

Theresa: Nothing. Jared knows about Little Ethan and I think it really shocked him. He overheard me tell him you were his real father and he knew right away that I wasn't going to stay married to him so we had it out once I left the room.

Ethan: It's okay. Are you alright?

Theresa: I'm fine. How are my brothers? Did you free them? They aren't going back to prison are they?

Ethan: Luis has been cleared of all charges...

Theresa: And Miguel? Did you clear his name too?

Ethan: His trial hasn't started yet. I took a half hour recess so I could collect my thoughts and prepare. I also wanted to make you sure Little Ethan was okay.

Theresa: He's fine. Just go back in there and clear Miguel.

Ethan: I will do my best Theresa. I love you.

Theresa: I love you, too.

Ethan: Bye.

Theresa: Bye.

Ethan walked back into the court room. He looked over his files and went over everything in his mind once more. He knew exactly what he had to do. The judge walked back in and the trial began for Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald.

Ethan: I call Fox Crane to the stand.

Fox walked over to stand and swore to tell the truth. He sat down. He didn't feel any need to try and frame Miguel anymore. He'd lost Kay so no matter what he said now didn't matter. Since the judge wasn't being blackmailed anymore he knew Miguel would be cleared and allowed to go home once again and be Kay and have a family.

Ethan: Mr. Cane on the night you were run over and left for dead did you see who hit you?

Fox: I thought I saw Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald.

Ethan: You thought?

Fox: Yes. Whoever drove resembled him and it was his car.

Ethan: It was dark, you'd just been beaten up, and the bright headlights were in your eyes, are you sure you saw the defendant Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald driving the car that ran you down?

Fox: No I'm not.

Ethan: Thank you. Your honor as you can see Fox Crane has testified that he did not know who was driving the car than ran him down. I would like to call Sam Bennet to the stand. Mr. Bennet how well do you know Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald?

Miss Nancier: Objection your honor. What does the defendant's background have to do with the case at hand.

Ethan: Your honor it has everything to do with the case at hand. You're basing these accusations again my client because you believed he acted out in his anger to hurt Fox Crane because he loved a woman. His past can prove whether or not he's the type to act rashly.

Miss Nancier: Your honor everyone has a tendancy to act rashly at least once in their lives and this time Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald commited a crime.

Judge Reilly: Overruled.

Miss Nancier: Your honor!

Judge Reilly: Overruled! Continue.

Sam: Miguel is a kind and caring man. He's never acted out in his anger once in his life. He went to church, he was a good student, he loved his family, I can never remember anything he did to hurt someone.

Ethan: Thank you. Now the evidence against my client is it proof positive that he committed the crime in your expert opinion.

Sam: In my expert opinion it is not. The evidence against him isn't rock solid. It can be proven in court that he did not commit these crimes.

Ethan: Would you please explain?

Sam: The glass we found at the crime scene does belong to Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald, however, when he showed us his care he looked surprised and confused. He had no idea from body and faciel expression that his car had been used to run someone down. Secondly since Mr. Crane cannot identify who drove the car anyone could've broken in and used it to run someone down.

Ethan: Thank you.

Miss Nancier: Just a minute if you please. All the evidence you have points to the defendant correct?

Sam: Yes it does but...

Miss Nancier: Just answer the question. Have you found any evidence that would point to someone else and clear Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald?

Sam: Well no but...

Miss Nancier: No further questions from this witness your honor.

Judge Reilly: Do you wish to redirect?

Ethan: No your honor.

Judge Reilly: Witness may step down.

Judge Reilly: Have you any other witnesses to call?

Ethan: No your honor.

Judge Reilly: You Miss Nancier?

Miss Nancier: No your honor.

Judge Reilly: Very well. You may now make your closing statements.

Miss Nancier: Laides and gentlemen of the jury the defense has yet to produce one shread of proof that his client didn't commit this crime. He has relied on his upstanding character but I know many criminals who have had good backgrounds before they decided to become criminals. All the evidence gathered points to one man Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald. Why? Because he in a fit of rage got in his car and tried to kill Mr. Fox Crane. I charge you for justice's sake to find this man guilty. For there is no one who could've done what the defendant has tried to do. If you have any value for justice you will find him guilty.

Paloma: Roberto I moved on when you left me. I fell in love with a great guy, and I thought he loved me too. But it turns out he was still in love with his ex and now they're together. Roberto I can't run around in circles. I can't just believe that you love me because you tell me. You need to prove it.

Roberto: How do I do that?

Paloma: I can't tell you. You just have to show me that you love me.

Roberto: I will. I love you so much.

Roberto pulled her in and kissed her. He held her like that for a moment and then let her go.

Paloma: Roberto!

Roberto: I'm sorry I just got caught up for a moment. I understand you've been hurt and you want to take things slow. That's fine with me. How about we see a movie tomorrow or something?

Paloma: I don't know.

Roberto: Please? It's just a movie.

Paloma: Are you sure it's only a movie?

Roberto: Promise. I won't say anything to you beyond be charming and making you fall back in love with me.

Paloma: Roberto I can't be in a relationship right now.

Roberto: No you can't.

Judge Reilly: Has the jury reached a verdict?

Jury: We have your honor. We find the defendant Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald not guilty.

Judge Reilly: Thank you for coming to your decision so quickly. Miguel you are a free man now and this will be stricken from your record.

Miguel: Thank you Ethan for not giving up.

Pilar: Oh Miguel I'm so happy. I can't believe God has given me my sons. Oh thank you.

Pilar fell to her knees. Miguel and Luis both went to her and pulled her up. They shared a hug and then they once again thanked Ethan. Ethan said he had to be going but wished them well. As he passed through the doors Gwen confronted him.

Ethan: Hello Gwen. How have you been?

Gwen: Good small thanks to you. Well actually no thanks to you.

Ethan: Gwen I'm sorry it didn't work out between us but I love Theresa not you. Well I do love you just not in the same way.

Gwen: And you couldn't have told me this three, four, five, six, seven years ago or even before we got married?

Ethan: Gwen at that time I thought I loved you. I did love you.

Gwen: You just loved Theresa more.

Ethan: Is this why you came to talk to me?

Gwen: No actually I'm here on a different matter.

Ethan: And what might that be?

Gwen: I want my daughter.

Ethan: What daughter Gwen?

Gwen: Ethan please don't do this to me. Don't be so sarcastic. I can't handle it. I want Jane and then I will just walk out of your life for ever. I just want my daughter.

Ethan: Gwen I don't want to hurt you but the truth is she's not your daughter, she mine and Theresa's and nothing will change that.

Gwen: Ethan I really didn't want to have to do this to you.

Ethan: Gwen don't even think about it. If you try to go to court it will never hold up. Theresa and I are together now.

Gwen: From where I stand Theresa's married to another man.

Ethan: She and Jared are getting a divorce.

Gwen: How can you be so sure?

Ethan: I understand your bitter and it probably hurts to hear that I'm with Theresa, but it's the truth Gwen. I've tried to spare you pain, but I'm afriad all I've done is add to it by not telling you the whole truth on how I feel about Theresa, I'm not making that mistake with my daughter. Gwen if you try to take her from me and Theresa I will fight you with everything that I have at my disposal.

Gwen: I've raised her ever since she was a baby Ethan, and now you're doing to take her from me? If you love me just a little then you will let me have her. Let me have someone to love.

Ethan: I'm sorry Gwen I can't let you have my daughter. Even if I don't fight you Theresa will and she will win and you will be hurt and I don't want to see that happen again.

Gwen: Than just let me take her Ethan. Let me start a family with my little girl.

Ethan: Gwen there are tons of children you can adopt, why do you want Jane?

Gwen: Ethan don't play dumb with me. I love Jane and I've raised her for so long now I can't imagine my life without her. I can't lose her. Not after everything I've already lost. I need her.

Ethan: Gwen I'm sorry but I'm not letting you take her away from me or Theresa.

Gwen: In a court room how would my case stand out?

Ethan: Gwen you'd be compared to a nanny. You raised her for a short time or really just watched her and now that her biological parents are together and since both love her and can provide for her you will lose and that's all there is to it.

Gwen: I can't believe you would turn on me just like that.

Ethan: I love Theresa and it killed me to take Jane away from her, and I'm not going to do that again.

Gwen: Well it looks like I have no more business here other than Jared.

Ethan: What does Jared have to do with any of this?

Gwen: He's going to help me get Jane back, and maybe we'll be a family together.

Ethan: I'm all for you starting over, but not with Jane.

Gwen: So you still think Jared's a bad guy?

Ethan: Yes I do.

Gwen: Well why aren't you saving me from him? I'll tell you why it's because you were in love with Theresa and since you don't love me my life isn't worth saving.

Ethan: Gwen I don't know why you're upset. Even with Jared you'll never win.

Gwen: We'll just see about that.

Ethan: Gwen just one question.

Gwen: What Ethan?

Ethan: Did you send my paternity to the tabloid or not?

Gwen: What kind of question is that?

Ethan: All this time you blamed Theresa, and I want to know the truth. Did you or didn't you?

Fox couldn't believe it. He's just lost Kay. He sat comtemplating it and as he thought about it it really wasn't bothering him as much as he thought it would. He thought about all that he's done for her taking those stupid treatments, lying about dying, and setting Miguel up for his attempted murder. He thought about what she'd put him through, how many times had he seen her cheating on him with Miguel. Was it really worth it trying to keep her? He found that he could bare losing and concluded that maybe he didn't love her and much as he thought he'd had, or maybe it was just that he was prepared for this moment so it didn't hurt as much.

Kay: Fox I'm really sorry about this.

Fox: Sorry about what?

Kay: About this.

Fox looked down and saw that he'd been handed divorce papers. He looked up at Kay to see her face. She didn't seem to care about him. Her gaze was directed out the window and she had this dreamy expression on her face.

Fox: Don't be.

Kay: What Fox?

Fox: You know I don't know what I saw in you.

Kay: Fox I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you, but I love Miguel and I can't wait to be with him.

Fox: Me either Kay.

Kay: You mean you wanted me with Fox? I thought you wanted me to stay with you. I thought you loved me.

Fox laughed. Kay frowned and he could see anger was sturring in her. He couldn't believe her. Did she want him to love her, and miss her when she left? Did she want him and Miguel? He laughed even louder. Kay walked up and smacked him, but that only made it more amusing to him. He pretended to wipe a tear from his eye.

Kay: Fox knock it off.

Fox: Sorry Kay but this is so amusing to me. Besides, what do you care? You love Miguel and you don't love me.

Kay: I do feel for you Fox.

Fox: Well you don't have to Kay. I don't need your love. You just used me and don't worry. Since you've got Miguel you can forget you ever met me. I really don't mind. In fact to make it easier for you I'll let you in on a secret.

Kay: Fox what's gotten into you?

Fox: I lied about dying. I went through those sick treatments so I could be with you, but now I wish I never went to the trouble. You didn't love me, and I should've just left you to be with Miguel, but I was having trouble letting you go and I thought you did love me. So I came up with it. What do you think?

Kay: How dare you! You kept me away from Miguel! Fox I could never love you!

Fox: Well that's okay Kay. Because I don't love you anymore. Some where along the way I lost my love for you and now I'm ready to let you go because I know you'll be happy with him. Or at least you think you will. Here I'll sign the papers right now, but I still want to see Maria.

Kay: Don't even think about it.

Fox: I adopted her Kay. I want to be with her. Miguel won't mind if I get her every Saturday will he? You guys can have her every other day, but I want Saturday's.

Kay: Fox what makes you think you have any rights?

Fox: I can take this to court Kay. Is that what you want because I could take her away from you entirely.

Kay: You wouldn't do that to me. You know how much I love her.

Fox: Kay I don't care about you at all and since I'm a Crane you know I'll always get what I want. And what I want is to see Maria once a week on Saturday's. Is that really asking a lot, Kay?

Kay: Fine. Just sign.

Fox bent down and signed the papers with ease. Kay reached down to grab it, but Fox pulled it back.

Fox: No breaks up with. I break up with them. So as far as people know I made you sign these.

Kay: I can't believe I ever thought I could've loved you.

Fox: Same here b!tch.

Kay: What?

Fox: You heard me. You are a b!tch. A big manipulative b!tch.

Kay: Well I'm glad we're finally done.

Fox: Me too. I can't stand to be around you. Though it's a comfort to know that you left me for Miguel and knowing that one day you'll be tired of being with him and then you'll come running back to me. You just watch Kay, one day you'll come running back to me and I'll throw you out once again.

As Kay left she saw Fox was still laughing. She couldn't understand it. He'd looked so crushed at the trial, but now he was actually letting her go, and not just letting her go, but he was already dating again? No he couldn't be. He just made that part up. Though knowing Fox he could get three dates on one try.

Fox: She wanted to leave me feeling lost and alone without her. I got her so bad she'll be back. Oh well I can still have fun. Besides it's not like Kay and I have anything anymore.

Fox got in his car and drove to a bar. He walked in and was surprised at the face he saw at the bar. Whitney. Now there's a woman. I wonder...

Fox: Hey beautiful what's up?

Whitney rolled her eyes and looked at Fox. He hadn't changed even after he'd married Kay.

Whitney: Fox Chad's been cheating on me. The thing is I suspected it but I still married him, and now who knows what diseases I could've contacted by staying with him. Do you know how many times I've tried to catch him, I even had Theresa hire an investagator and no one ever found anything on him.

Fox: I'm sorry Whit. If it makes any difference I've left Kay or rather we left each other.

Whitney: I don't understand. You two were so happy together.

Fox: Let's just say I couldn't take the place of Miguel.

Whitney: Well I remember all the things she'd done to be with Miguel. She was crazy about him I guess she couldn't just forget him.

Fox: Well I got sick of her cheating and all the lies so I left her.

Whitney: I'm sorry.

Fox: Don't be. I'll have a beer. Kay's not worth being sorry for. I want a woman to love me and only me. I'm sick of having bad luck on all my relationships. I wonder if there is a girl out there for me.

Whitney: Me too. Well a guy not girl.

Fox: So do you know who Chad was with?

Whitney: Yeah he was with... Vincent.

Fox: Vincent? Chad was cheating on you with a man?

Whitney: Yeah. I gave him the divorce papers today. Well not me but a lawyer I'm working with. I told him I was never going to see him again. Fox you don't know how much this hurts. I thought Chad and I were going to be together, but now I'm broken and hurt and I don't know where to turn to.

Fox: Shh. It'll be okay.

Whitney: How's it going to be okay? How is this going to work out? Chad and I will never be together again and I don't know how I could ever trust a man again.

Fox: I know it doesn't look like it'll work out again Whit, but trust me somewhere out there there's a guy that's looking for a beautiful and strong woman just like yourself.

Whitney: Well he'd better be looking for a kid too.

Fox: Whitney you need to stop. Come on let's get you out of here.

Whitney: Fox you're sweet and you've got no right to be but please let me go.

Fox: Friends don't desert each other when they need them. Come on Whit. I'm going to take you out and make you forget all about Chad.

Whitney: I hightly doubt that.

Fox: First we got to get you focused off yourself and what you've lost. How about we go get Miles and just spend a day with him?

Whitney: Alright. I guess it's worth a try.

Fox: Good.

Gwen: Ethan you already have the truth.

Ethan: Than tell what is the truth. That Theresa did it? That a maid framed Theresa to take the fall for it? Gwen none of that makes sense?

Gwen: Than why did you believe it if it didn't make sense?

Ethan: Because you were my wife. I had to believe you Gwen.

Gwen: Than why are we having this conversation?

Ethan: Because I'm no longer tied to you in any way. I want to know the truth. The whole truth. Gwen did you?

Gwen: Fine. I can see you won't let this go. My mother did it. I didn't find out until after it was done but I couldn't stop her if I didn't know about it.

Ethan: Oh shut the h3ll up Gwen. You didn't know about it? Do you think I'm that stupid.

Gwen: I'm telling you the truth.

Ethan: Gwen you're an idiot. You're a b!tch. You made me think Theresa had done it and if it wasn't for that I would've been with Theresa all these years. How dare you act like you have any claims to me.

Gwen: Well I have this comfort. I did something Theresa couldn't and that's get you.

Ethan: Gwen you never had me. You still don't know about half the times Theresa and I have been together. You never found out when we were first together and I've gotta tell you she's a million times better than you ever could be.

Gwen smacked him. She was so furious. She remembered how Theresa always taunted her like this. She wasn't going to take it from Ethan, too.

Ethan: I guess I finally got under you skin huh? You can't stand to think that Theresa beat you. You can't stand to think of Theresa having something you couldn't. Is that what this was all about? You never loved me did you? This was all about keeping Theresa from having me. I can't believe you!

Gwen: Shut up Ethan. You think you're all that, but you're not.

Ethan: Well Theresa and I are getting married soon I'd invite you to see your face when you realize you lost, but I'm not half as heartless as you. I'll let you stay quietly at home and you manipulate someone new. Maybe expose his secrets and hurt him so badly he thinks he's lost his life and you keep him away from the girl he really loves, and then well you get beat once again. I'd pity you Gwen, but you really don't deserve it since you caused all of it.

Gwen: You will pay Ethan.

Ethan: Gwen you've hurt me enough during my life so now it's time to reap what you've sown. You won't get Jane, I can promise you that, even if you've got the best lawyer in the country. You'll leave broken heartened and well it's all you fault.

Gwen: Don't count on it Ethan: I'm actually meeting with Jared at the hospital. I heard about Little Ethan and I want to see him once before I go.

Ethan: I wouldn't advise it Gwen. I don't want you upsetting Theresa and I promise if you do you will be sorry.

Gwen: Don't worry Ethan. Upsetting Theresa is the last thing on my mind right now. I want to see Jared and Little Ethan. That's all. I'll leave in ten minutes after arriving I promise.

Ethan: I'm warning you Gwen.

Gwen: Alright Ethan I got it. Leave your precious Theresa alone. Don't worry I'll be fine and good.

Offical: Ethan the judge wants to see you.

Ethan: Coming. Remember...

Gwen: I know leave Theresa alone. Not that I will.

Gwen jumped into her car and headed to the hospital. She couldn't wait to see Theresa. She didn't know why she really cared about hurting her anymore, but she guessed it was old habits die hard. Theresa had hurt her so much, and she was going to make sure Theresa felt a little pain and suffering before as Ethan had said they would be together.

Gwen arrived and got out of her car. She really didn't care about Little Ethan she was just going to rub a few things in Theresa face. Jared was hers and she knew he wouldn't mind it if Gwen made Theresa feel like she'd lost something. Though something inside Gwen told her this wasn't right and it wouldn't work.

Gwen: Hello Jared, Theresa.

Theresa: Gwen. What are you doing here?

Gwen: I came to see Jared.

Theresa: Jared? Oh are you two together now?

Gwen: I don't know Theresa. What do you think Jared.

Jared: Gwen what are you doing? We already talked about this.

Gwen: Jared darling... just play along.

Jared suddenly understood what she was doing. He was trying to consider whether he should do this or not when Gwen kissed him.

Gwen: I just couldn't stand to be away from you another moment.

Jared: Me either.

Theresa: Well I'm happy for both of you. See Jared you've already found someone who loves you. You're going to be fine.

Jared: As long as I'm away from you.

Theresa immediately knew what Gwen was doing. She turned pretending to check on Little Ethan. She took a breath smiling to herself. She knew she had Ethan and that was all that mattered. Nothing that Gwen said would make her feel upset.

Gwen: So how is he?

Theresa: He's doing fine. Still sleeping. The doctor said it's probably the best thing for him.

Gwen: Where's Jane?

Theresa: She's at home. I asked the nanny to bring her in later.

Gwen: So you always leave her with the nanny?

Theresa: No I don't Gwen. But my son was hurt so I had to leave her with the nanny so I could make sure my son was going to be fine. What do you care anyways? Jane is my daughter not yours.

Gwen: Not for long Theresa. With Jared's help I'll make sure you never see her again.

Theresa: Wow Gwen. You haven't changed one bit. Jared I feel really sorry for you. If Gwen hasn't changed you will be hurt in the end just like Ethan was.

Jared: I don't need you feeling sorry for me.

Theresa: Gwen I wouldn't try it if I were you.

Jared: Gwen actually has a very good chance of getting Jane Theresa. She's raised her since she was a baby, and she can provide her with a good home.

Theresa: Yes but I can give Jane a better home.

Jared: I guess you can Theresa. Dumping her with the nanny all the time being too busy at work, that sounds like a great life for little Jane. You're just lucky we're not taking away Little Ethan, too.

Theresa: Well Jared I must say I never knew you. I had no idea you could be such a b!tch. On second thought you and Gwen will get along perfectly together. I only feel sorry for you because you will lost.

Jared: Don't count on it Theresa.

Gwen: Well Theresa I'm going to see Jane. I'll see you later.

Theresa: As long as I've got costody of that child you will not go near her.

Gwen: The costody was given to me.

Theresa: Wrong Gwen. Jane was give to Ethan not you. You see you're not her biological mother therefore you have no rights to her. Even the judge new that. She knew Ethan was her daddy and that's who got the custody and since then she's been living at the mansion so I'm her mommy.

Gwen: That may be true Theresa but I've been with Jane since she was a baby so you can't keep her from me.

They turned when they saw a lady ask for Theresa. Theresa waved to the woman. A young child was walking next to her.

Theresa: Hey baby girl.

She bent down and picked her. She kissed her several times and then let her in to Little Ethan's room. Little Ethan was waking up again.

Theresa: Here's you big brother. I know you missed him. I bet he missed you too.

Gwen hated watching this. Jared put his arm around her. Gwen walked into the room determined to hold Jane. Theresa held her on her lap carefully making sure Jane wasn't loud or trying to crush Little Ethan by hugging him to hard.

Gwen: Jane.

Jane turned when she saw Gwen and waved.

Gwen: My baby girl come to mommy. Mommy wants to see you.

Theresa actually slackened her hold on Jane showing Gwen that she wasn't keeping her there. Jane looked at Gwen and then back at Theresa. Theresa merely smiled and kissed her on top of her head.

Jane: Mommy.

She reached out and kissed Theresa. Theresa laughed as the kiss tickled her.

Theresa: Mommy loves you too.

Gwen: This isn't over Theresa. You will lose Jane and then you will have nothing.

Theresa: Gwen you're so bitter. Please not in front of my children. I want to make sure Little Ethan is alright.

Gwen walked out in a huff. Theresa smiled.

Jared: You really are a terrible person Theresa.

Theresa: Jared I didn't attack Gwen. She came after me. Just think about that.

Ethan was coming down the hall and saw Gwen leave in a fit. He saw Jared and he wanted to make sure they were leaving her alone. He bumped Jared as he walked passed him into the room.

Ethan: Are you alright?

Theresa: I'm fine.

Little Ethan: Hey dad.

Ethan smiled and bent down and kissed him. Dad. He loved that word.

Ethan: Hey little man. How are you feeling?

Little Ethan: Okay. My head still hurts a little but I feel better.

Ethan: How's my little girl?

He took Jane off Theresa's lap and placed her on his. The rest of day was spent trying to cheer up Little Ethan and enjoying each other's company.

Fancy: Noah this is beautiful.

Noah: Only the best for the most beautiful woman in Harmony.

Noah had taken Fancy out on a picnic. The sky was clear and the stars were shining brighter than ever. Noah had taken her up to the peek. He had candles lit and they had it all to theirselves.

Fancy: Noah this is really beautiful.

Noah: Well it's no trouble at all when I think of how happy it makes you. I love doing things for you.

Fancy: Noah I love you.

She turned and kissed him. Noah smiled and kissed her back.

Noah: Shall we?

Fancy: Yes.

The meal was perfect. Fancy asked Noah how he was able to make all this but he said he couldn't cook so he did the next best thing and asked someone to do it for him? Fancy asked but Noah sealed his lips. Fancy smiled saying she knew how to solve that problem. Noah smiled back and told her she could try. Fancy place her arms around his neck and slowly leaned in to kiss his lips. They were locked like this for several minutes.

Luis had been walking around the park enjoying the sky which he hadn't seen in so long. He couldn't believe how good it felt to be free. For a moment he forgot about Fancy and Noah. He forgot about everything. He wanted to see the peek and get a view of everything. He made his way up and stopped short. Fancy was there with Noah. Luis clenched his fist. He watched Fancy leaned in and kiss him. The angery burned inside him. He and Fancy were meant to be together. He loved her. How many times had he and Fancy been through trials where she wanted to know if he loved her and he always told her did. Now here she was not ten yards away from him kissing another man. He wanted to be in Noah's shoes and have Fancy to himself again. He loved her. Noah should've left her alone. This was all Noah's fault. Luis would make sure he paid for this. No one was going to have Fancy except for him.

Sam opened the door and saw Ivy standing in front of him. She looked so beautiful and all he wanted to do was kiss her, but he refrained. He'd agreed to give her a second chance but he needed to be sure about her before he could rush to her and love her.

They sat down and ate take out together. Ivy was charming and she was trying very hard to please Sam and Sam could feel that. He could feel Ivy seeking some kind of hope some kind of love from him, and he wanted to show her just how much he did love her, but he couldn't do it yet. He couldn't be hurt by her again or allow his family to be hurt by something she did.

Ivy: Sam I'll clean up you just sit there.

Sam: Ivy I don't think you know what you're getting into.

Ivy: Sam I know how to wash forkes and throw away garbage. I'm not completely stupid.

Sam: I didn't say you were, I'm just saying once you start volunteering it never ends, and you'll get stuck doing everything because people know you'll do it.

Ivy: Well I must've missed that class. I just want to help you out, Sam.

Sam: You've helped out enough for one night. I'll take care of the dishes.

Ivy: I'll help. Really Sam I'll do anything you want me to.

Sam: I know.

It was so hard to resist her pleading face. Hard to resist kissing those lips. Hard to keep his hands off her body. He looked away and picked up what was left of the dishes. Ivy help to dry and put them away. She remembered where everything went and then when there was nothing left to do she merely looked at Sam asking the question silently.

Sam: I said I'd give you a second chance Ivy. You have to be patient with me. I just can't trust you so easily again.

Ivy: I know Sam. I know.

Sam: I'll walk you out.

Ivy: Okay. I'll get my bag.

Sam walked her out to the car and opened the door for her. Ivy looked at Sam again and kissed him. She couldn't help it. She'd spent the evening with the most fantasic man and she couldn't leave without having a little something from him, it wasn't in her nature. She pulled away at last and got into her car without another word. She drove out of the driveway quickly before she changed her mind and went straight to her home.

Sam watched her go thinking about how he'd give anything to be with her forever. Just take things slow he reminded himself. If she loves you she can wait. Just wait a little longer before things go back together. Just keep waiting. He wanted her now.

I'm glad that Kay is going to be jealous when she sees Fox with Whitney!!! I hope Gwen and Jared don't mess things up for Theresa and Ethan even though I know they have to do something. They aren't going to give up that easy! can't wait for more!!!!!

I know. I had to do that. I love Fox and I hate Miguel, but still I thought I'd give Kay what she wants and see how it works out and my fingers have a tendancy to write a better story than I do. As for Gwen and Jared I'm all for making them a couple, but I'm biased so I'm not about to let them mess up ET too much. Don't worry update will be posted tomorrow.

Gwen was so angry that she barely slept that night. How is it Theresa seemed to get what she wanted all the time? That girl never went through any hard times, she put her through h3ll and yet she never had to suffer any consequences. It's like she was supposed to be happy while Gwen was always supposed to suffer and never have any happiness. All she wanted was to have Jane and then get out or at least stay away from Theresa and Ethan. All she wanted was her daughter. She just wanted her daughter. Theresa may be the child's biological mother, but she would never be Jane's real mother. Jane would never be Theresa's.

Gwen finally slept but it wasn't a peaceful easy rest. She tossed and turned during the night. When she woke up she was tired and uneasy. She jumped into a hot shower and relaxed a little. She got out and dried herself off and got dressed. She was just finishing up when she got a call from Jared. She smiled when she heard his voice on the other end of the phone. He asked her if she'd like to meet him for lunch. Gwen agreed immediately. Even though things weren't completely perfect at least something was working out with her and Jared.

Jared smiled when he hung up the phone. This was the way to get Theresa out of his mind. He loved being with Gwen. She was a beautiful woman and so classy. He could spend an entire day with her an entire lifetime and he would never tire of her company.

He wiped the sleep out of his eyes. Like Gwen he couldn't sleep. He kept thinking about Theresa and how she'd broken his heart. He could remember every time she told him I love you and that he was her future and Ethan was her past. If Ethan was her past she was obviously living in it. She was with Ethan and since she was with him now there was no hope of ever trying to win back her love.

He tried to think about what went wrong, why couldn't win her love and why she'd lied to him for so long? She could've told him someone was blackmailing her to be with him, and he would've understood. Maybe he wouldn't of gotten everything, but he certainly would've tried his best to help her out. Gwen was obviously right when she said Theresa would always be with Ethan and she'd never get him out of her heart. Why did I ever think I could win her heart? I could leave her easily if I didn't love her so much. Why did she have to break my heart?

Jared spend the rest of day waiting for lunch. He couldn't wait to see Gwen. He was worried first about what to wear, but just a botton down and jeans were okay. He was taking her anywhere special. It was just a simple lunch. One thing he couldn't understand was how Ethan could let a woman like Gwen ever slip away. But when he thought about Theresa he had to ask himself if he could still be with Theresa who would he choose? It was so hard. If he was going to be with Gwen he would have to be perfectly honest with her because she deserved that much from him. He did love Theresa, but she didn't love him and even if she did or told him she did he would always have a doubt that she still loved Ethan. Gwen was the only woman for him from here on out.

Jared looked up and saw Gwen. He waved her over to his seat. She smiled and made her way over to his table.

Jared: How are you?

Gwen: I'm doing really well Jared. I was a little upset last night about Theresa, but I'm fine now.

Jared: Gwen there's something I should tell you.

Gwen: What's that Jared?

Jared: I would really love to start spending time with you if that's okay with you that is. Also I don't know if I should really ask this, but I think before we can offically begin to see each other we should clear the air.

Gwen: I agree. We both need to get things out on the table so we can trust each other and know where we stand.

Jared: So who wants to go first?

He smiled and Gwen smiled back at him. The waiter came and asked them what they wanted. Jared order a chicken sandwitch with fries, and Gwen order a salad.

Gwen: I'll go first.

Jared: Okay.

Gwen: Is there anything you want to know about?

Jared: Just the whole relationship and where you stand now?

Gwen: That's a lot.

Jared: I'm kidding. It doesn't have to be all that.

Gwen: Well I'll do my best to please. Ethan and I met during middleschool. Our parents sent both of us to the same boarding school. We didn't go to the same school, but the boys and girls always found ways to see each other. We were good friends and then our parents started to hint to us during high school that we should get together. Ethan and I were still very unsure about what to do. We both liked each other, but it was still in a friend kind of way, and we didn't want to get together just because our parents were pushing us to. We talked about it and during our junior year we started to feel something for each other so we started dating. Our parents were promoting it as much as they could and eventually they succeeded. Ethan proposed to me before he left for college the following year. In was August 14th and it was raining. I was so in love with him I said yes without hesitating. Ethan left two weeks later to go to Harvard Law Scool. When he passed he was at the top of his class. I was so proud of him.

We came back to Harmony after that. Ethan and I were caught by Luis on the beach having fun, but we were arrested for having a fire lit. I remember that so well. The wedding was getting close and later I had a plane to Paris. Well I suppose you know about what happened next. The stupid thing was I kept throwing Ethan and Theresa together. I threw them together at the prom and everything else. Looking back on it now I can't believe how stupid I was.

Ethan still hadn't told me about him and Theresa and it was so close to our wedding day. Eventually he told me right before the wedding. I was so angry. I wanted to kill Theresa for taking Ethan away from me. I actually went after her with a baseball bat. I don't know what I was thinking. I even locked Pilar in a closet. Well mother and I were determined not to let Theresa have Ethan so we found out about Ethan's paternity off Theresa's computer and then we sent it to the tabloids. After a lot of work Ethan and I were finally married. I was so happy. Still my life with Ethan wasn't perfect. He was in love with Theresa and I knew it, but I thought my love for him would be enough for both of us, but it wasn't. Ethan couldn't let Theresa go and no matter what she did to me Ethan love her and wouldn't let her go. She killed my babies Sarah and Nathan, but still to Ethan she could do no wrong.

Now I'm just so fed up with that I left him. When I saw Ethan with Theresa that night something inside me snapped. I couldn't believe it. Theresa was engaged to you and there she was making love to my husband. The husband who loved me and said he would never be with Theresa again. I went home and grabbed all my stuff and just left. The only reason I'm back now is to get Jane. She's my daughter and I'm her mother and no matter what Theresa says or does she will never be that child's mother.

Where Ethan and I stand now isn't even an issue for me. If I never see him again it'll still be too much. I'm so fed up with the way he treated I'm ready to have my own life away from and Theresa, and all the memories of Harmony. I just want to start over with someone who will love and respect me for me, and love me the way I should be loved. Well now you know all about me and Ethan pretty much.

Jared: There's something I don't entirely understand.

Gwen: What's that?

Jared: I thought you loved Ethan.

Gwen: I did. Or at least I fooled myself into thinking I loved him.

Jared: So how could you do something like that to Ethan? How could you send his real paternity to the tabloid? How could you hurt that man you loved like that?

Gwen: I convinced myself that it was the only way to get Ethan away from Theresa. I couldn't let her win you know. I wanted Ethan and she took him from me so I had to do it. It was the only way. So I sent it to the tabloid.

Jared: There's another thing I need to know. Each time you talk about Ethan choosing Theresa you keep saying that you couldn't let her win, that you had to stop her. So really the only reason you want Ethan was because you couldn't let Theresa have him, why?

Gwen: Jared I don't know what your talking about.

Jared: Gwen every time you go there it's all about keeping Theresa from Ethan. Did you love Ethan or was this whole thing about not letting her and Ethan be together?

Gwen: I loved Ethan at that time. I loved him very much. I would've done anything for him.

Jared: Than why couldn't you let him be with the woman he loved?

Gwen: I told you I loved him and I wanted to be with him. Also at that time I thought Theresa was just after his money and didn't really love him. I thought I was protecting him by keeping her away from him.

Jared: Okay I guess that makes sense.

Gwen: What about you?

Jared: What about me?

Gwen: You have to spill the beans.

Jared: I'm eating.

Gwen smiled and slapped him. Jared laughed a little and swallowed the food. It had arrived during Gwen's narration.

Jared: Well Theresa and I met when she spilled her drink on me ruining my shirt. What Theresa didn't know was I had been staring at her for at least half an hour. I wanted to meet her so I walked over and was just going to bump her but she instead bumped me and spilled her drink all over me. She was beginning to apologize but I got mad at her and didn't let her. It was rocky and when we started to get along I found out she was Mrs. Crane and then I didn't want anything to do with her.

I thought it was all over between us and so did she, but when we met again I was really surprised when I saw how normal and down to earth she was. She started to win me over again and before I knew it I fell in love with Theresa and that was it. I tried to show her how much I loved her, but Ethan was always there and he wouldn't let her go and be happy. I honestly believe if he would've left us alone Theresa and I would be together, but since he couldn't Theresa was torn and I know it was hard for her to resist Ethan.

I blinded myself and when she excepted my proposal I thought everything would be clear skies from then on out. Then, the office called and before I knew it I had to leave her and she told me it was fine and she'd wait for me. When I came back I found you and then we found Theresa and Ethan together and I was so hurt. I couldn't understand what I was doing wrong and why I couldn't just be happy with the woman I loved. Well I was mad just like you and then I just decided to leave, but Chad and Valerie talked to me and told me not to leave. I listened to them. I ran after Theresa, but she told me there was nothing I could do to make me put that ring back on her finger, and I've gotta tell you that hurt to hear I only wish I would've listened.

Well stupid me continued to chase her around fighting with Ethan sometimes and doing everything in my power. One day she told me she wanted to marry me in front of Ethan too so I really believed her, and I couldn't believe it. I remember her crying, but I told myself they were tears of joy and that she really did love me. I can't believe how stupid I was. Now I know that she was blackmailed into excepting my proposal.

Well we got married just a couple weeks later and then things were looking up. She wanted to have a baby but now it looks like this baby isn't mine or at least there's a lot of doubt as to who the father is. If the baby turns out to be mine I don't know what I'll do. I want to be there for the baby, but right now I'm so hurt and upset how Theresa treated me that I can't stand to be around her.

So that's my story of me and Theresa. At least the important facts.

Gwen: Well Theresa's managed to hurt both of us that much I know.

Jared: I blame myself for believing I could ever replace Ethan.

Gwen: It doesn't matter Jared. Theresa never should've made you believe that she loved you. That was wrong, but just like Theresa. She never thinks about who she's going to hurt she just does whatever will be best for her.

Jared: Well I can understand a little Gwen. She was only doing it to protect her brothers. She wanted to save them and I can understand that.

Gwen: Jared you're too forgiving. If I were you I'd never forgive her.

Jared: Well I don't how I can so easily forgive her, but I understand why she did it, and I know she never meant to hurt me, but she couldn't see any other way out of it.

Gwen: Well Theresa always gets what she wants and she doesn't care who she walks over or who get hurts.

Jared: It does seem that way.

Gwen: Jared do you think I honestly have a chance to get Jane back?

Jared: Gwen I know you have a strong chance. You raised the past year and you love her and you'd be willing to spend time with her and I know I can throw the nanny business all over Theresa. There's so many things I can do that I honestly do believe in the end the judge will agree to give Jane to you.

Gwen: Thank you so much Jared.

Jared: For what?

Gwen: For being here.

Jared: That's what I'm here for.

He reached out and touched her hand. Then, he leaned forward and kissed her. The ate desert and then left. Jared wanted to get to work right away to get Jane back to the woman he loved.

Fox brought Miles and Whitney to the park. It was such a beautiful day and Fox knew how much Whitney loved spending time with her son.

Fox: How about we try the swings. I'll push you.

Whitney: No thank you Fox. I'll push you.

Fox: I'll take it anyway I can get it.

Fox and Whitney both laughed. Whitney set Miles in the swing and began to push. Fox sat on the one next to Miles and smiled. Whitney was a great mom. He knew Miles loved her even at that young age. Whitney was looking so much better as he watched her play with her son.

Fox: Haven't you forgot about me?

Whitney: Fox you can push yourself.

Fox: Please mommy?

Fox gave her his best puppy eyes. Whitney rolled her eyes and laughed. Some times Fox was funny, sweet, and lovable all at the same time. She thought for a moment about whether she should or not and decided to go ahead.

Whitney: I'll get you started, but then you have to do it yourself. Got it?

Fox: Yes mom.

Whitney: Okay. Fox you're heavy.

Fox: I'm a big kid.

Whitney: That's true.

Fox: And that's why you love me.

Whitney: I don't know if I love you or not Fox. You're too I don't know what to say. You're just...

Fox: Too Foxy for you.

Whitney: Hardly. If you remember I was the better one in that relationship.

Fox: Can't really argue with you there. Except for the fact that you broke my heart.

Whitney: I'm really sorry Fox.

Fox: It's okay Whit. I've completely forgiven you. I wouldn't be your boyfriend again though.

Whitney: Okay that's high enough for me.

Fox: Oh come on it's fun having you push. Feeling you hands around...

Whitney: Fox not now.

Fox: Okay mommy.

Whitney: Will you ever grow up?

Fox: Nope.

Kay and Miguel were together. They spend a long wonderful night together, at least Kay thought it was. She loved Miguel so much. She couldn't get over how much she wanted him. Even after being with him the whole night it still wasn't enough. She wanted more. Miguel brought her breakfast in bed and she smiled really big. Miguel wanted to spend time with Maria, too. He proposed a day at the park. Kay gave her consent.

Kay: Oh Miguel this is perfect. Maria's going to have so much fun.

Miguel: I know she will. It's because we're all here as a family.

Kay: And nothing will ever come between us again. I just can't believe Fox.

Miguel: Hey don't even think about that. No matter what he did our love was strong enough to get through it.

Kay: But he robbed us so much time. All that time he was pretending to be dying, and he actually took the real treatments! I mean it just boggles my mind.

Miguel: Yeah that does seem sick. That one man would want you so bad he'd go through all that. Did he confess to setting me up?

Kay: No he didn't. I don't think he did it Miguel. Maybe Julian did and he didn't tell Fox because Fox isn't like him.

Miguel: After everything he did to you and me you still think he loves you and that he isn't like the rest of the Cranes?

Kay: I know it's weird, but I can't think of Fox as a really bad guy. I can't imagine him trying to send you to prison for life. See he was willing to give his own life, but I can't imagine him trying to take yours. He does love me and Maria or at least I thought he did. If you would've heard what he said to me.

Miguel: Try not to think about Kay.

Kay: I can't help it. It really hurt Miguel.

Miguel: It's okay now. I'm here with you. Fox won't ever hurt you or Maria again.

Kay: Miguel Fox never hurt Maria. I can say that much for him. Fox never ever hurt Maria. He was the perfect dad.

Miguel: Okay. But still, I can't get over him. He thinks he can't do anything wrong just because he's a Crane. Well even though he is a Crane he still hasn't taken you away from me.

Kay: No one could do that.

Kay leaned up and kissed him. Kay wondered how she could ever do without Miguel.

Whitney: Oh Miles is so tired. He really had fun.

Fox: Well Miles can nap for a little bit.

Whitney: I should take him home.

Fox: Whitney just let him sleep here.

Fox spread a blanket out and gently took Miles from Whitney. He laid him down and Miles slept peacefully.

Fox: How are you doing.

Whitney: Better. I'm just glad you are here Fox. I don't know what I'd do without you.

Fox: Well I'm your friend and friends are always there for each other.

Whitney: Yeah, but Fox you've no right to be here with me. I used you so badly before and yet here you are trying to make me feel better about what Chad did to me.

Fox: Chad's a bast*rd Whitney. You don't deserve someone like him.

Whitney: I know. I heard from my attorny today. Chad signed the papers. So we're offically not married anymore. You know somehow this is much harder to bear than I thought it would be.

Whitney began to cry. Fox immediately drew her in holding her close. He did know how she felt. Kay had cheated on him multiple times since the day of their wedding night, and even before. Whitney was actually a bigger comfort to him because it took his eyes off of what he was going through.

What neither Whitney or Fox saw was Kay and Miguel and Maria.

Miguel: That's just like Fox. Once he can't have something he moves on to someone else.

Kay: I heard Whitney just broke up with Chad because he was cheating on her.

Miguel: Fox is probably taking advantage of her.

Kay: Whitney's smarter than that.

Kay saw Fox kiss her cheek and rub a tear away from her eye. Kay felt anger burn inside her. Who was Whitney to think she could be with Fox, and why was Fox with Whitney so soon after their breakup? Fox shouldn't be with Whitney. Whitney wasn't good enough for Fox. She'd used him and hurt him. Fox should be with...

Kay stopped herself. She'd broken up with Fox to be with Miguel and hadn't she had the most amazing night with Miguel? Miguel was amazing in bed, that was for sure. But Fox was amazing anywhere. He could wear a potato sack and he'd still be a great looking guy. Kay once again stopped herself. Who did she love? She wanted both Fox and Miguel, and that was something she couldn't have. She couldn't have both men she could only choose one.

I choose Miguel. I chose Miguel already. What's wrong with me. I want Fox. Oh God knows I want Fox. But Miguel he's so special. He treats me so good. Besides Fox lied to me and Miguel never has. I'm staying with Miguel.

Kay: Miguel let's just leave them alone. Maybe they're meant to be or something.

Miguel: Alright.

Sam and Ivy met again. Once again they were at Sam's house, but this time it was a candle lit dinner. The effect it produced was more than Sam could handle. Ivy looked so beautiful in the candle light. There were several times during dinner where he was ready to take her up to his room and spend all night making love to her, but he refrained reminding himself he couldn't trust her.

Sam: Do you like it?

Ivy: Yes it's very good. You look very handsome Sam.

Sam: You don't look half bad yourself.

Ivy: So how's Jessica doing?

Sam: She left Spike, but I just found out she's pregnant.

Ivy: With Spike's baby?

Sam: It looks that way.

Ivy: How's Jessica doing?

Sam: She's doing really well. She really wants to have this baby and I think it would be really good for her if she did. Maybe it'll help her stay off the drugs and away from Spike forever.

Ivy: I hope so.

Sam: You really look beautiful.

Ivy: Thank you Sam. I really missed spending time with you.

Sam: I've missed you too. In more ways than one.

Ivy: Sam I really do love you. I hope you know that.

Sam: I do. I hope you know that I love you too.

Ivy: Well I can read how much you love me in your eyes.

Sam: Is that what gave me away?

Ivy: One of the many things.

They laughed and for a moment fell silent. Sam desperately wanted her. He wanted Ivy to be with him again. He loved her so much it was killing him. He couldn't get over how much he wanted her. How much he wanted to feel her again. It was taking over his senses.

He made it through the dinner, however and Ivy helped him clean up. They went out to the sofa and sat down, but Sam couldn't contain himself any more. He wanted Ivy and he wasn't going to wait anymore. He reached over and began to kiss her. Ivy seemed a little surprised but immediately kissed him back. He laid he down on the sofa and began to kiss her again. Ivy torn off his jacket throwing it on the floor. Sam unbottoned the back of her dress and kissed her again and again. Ivy pulled off his shirt and then pulled Sam back down to her lips. She wanted him and nothing was going to ruin this moment.

Ethan led Theresa around with the blindfold still on. Theresa knew where they were, but couldn't figure out where they were going. They were at the mansion, but she didn't know what room they were in. Ethan let her guess and after each one he laughed. She left a change in the temperature and realized they went out side.

Theresa: Ethan can't you tell me where we're going?

Ethan: It's a surprise.

Theresa: Will we be there soon?

Ethan: That depends on how fast you move.

Theresa: Come on Ethan, just tell me.

Ethan: Can't do that. It would ruin the surprise.

Theresa: Oh fine I'll be patient.

Ethan: We're here. Wait a moment.

Theresa was about to take off the blindfold when Ethan stopped her. She looked in the direction his voice came from giving him the look.

Theresa: Ethan come on don't keep me in suspense.

Ethan: Okay, now.

Theresa took off the blindfold and saw a table set for two with hot food on it. Two candles, and she heard music coming from somewhere. They were in the Crane garden and all the flowers looked beautiful. Everything looked perfect.

Theresa: Ethan this is beautiful.

Ethan: No. You're beautiful.

Theresa: Ethan I'm pregnant. You can't be beautiful and pregnant.

Ethan: Yes you can. You're still the most beautiful woman I ever saw. Besides I don't see any signs yet.

Theresa: I know that music.

Ethan: Yeah it's our song. I wanted to make tonight perfect.

Theresa: It's already perfect because you're here.

Ethan: Want to dance?

Theresa: Yes.

Theresa danced with Ethan enjoying everything about him. She couldn't believe she and Ethan were together again. They could finally be a family. She loved him so much. Ethan was her world. No one could make her feel the way he made her feel.

After they danced a couple songs Ethan thought it was time for her to rest. He brought her over to the table and helped her to her seat.

Theresa: So what are we having?

Ethan: You're favorite.

Theresa: Really?

Ethan: I had your mom make it. Apparently I remember you saying only she could make food melt in your mouth.

Theresa: Well that's because it's my mamma. She always makes food taste good.

Ethan: Here let me help you.

Theresa: Ethan I can do this.

Ethan: Just let me.

Theresa silently submitted. Ethan cut up her food and fed her slowly. Theresa had to admit she was enjoyin this. The food was good and she couldn't get over how sweet Ethan was being. She looked into his eyes and she could see how much he loved her. She could see it in his actions. And she loved him all the more for.

Ethan: What is it?

Theresa: I just love you so much.

Ethan: I love you too. Speaking of which we need to make something offical.

Theresa: What's that?

Theresa watch Ethan get up out of the chair and get down on one knee. Theresa felt tears start to form in her eyes.

Ethan: Theresa I love you so much. I've loved you for so long I can't imagine my life without you. I want to be a family with our children. I want to wake up every morning and see your beautiful face greet me. Theresa I want to marry and love you until the day I die. So Theresa will you marry me and make me the happiest man in the world?

Theresa: Yes I will.

The tears were coming down her face now. Ethan placed the ring on her finger then looked up at her. He stood up and bent down and kissed her like there was no tomorrow.

What if I told you Gwen did get Jane? jk. No one will know until I post that chapter. I intend to keep that a secret to myself. The next update will be some time tomorrow. Probably about the same time that I posted this one.

I don't see how you could be so cruel as to write it in to your story that Gwen could get Jane. If you actually watch the show then you would remember that Gwen KIDNAPPED Jane when she was just a few weeks old. Also Theresa NEVER KILLED any child. Gwen caused Sarah's death by disobeying the doctor's orders. and Nathan had to be aborted due to the fact that he was the weakest of the two twins and it was the doctor's choice. If Theresa had killed any child she would have lost her own two children forever and would have been arrested immediately.

I can't believe that you use the ID that you do use because it sounds like you love to see Ethan and Theresa get hurt a lot and that you like it when Gwen wins.

this is a fanfic this is her idea of a story if she want gwen to win then she can it dosen't have to go just like the show. i hope she dosen't let gwen win but if that what happens i'll still read it
