A shocking but powerful episode that I've seen last night. Kevin Fogarty was killed by a serial pedophile/murderer and kidnapped Tory Quinlan and used him as biat to smother Kevin Fogarty to death with a pillow. It is so sad to see tory held captive for 5 years and suffering a lot with emotional stress. According to the episode, he was diagnosed with Stockholm Syndrome, a disease that had affectred his mind and erased his memories abou the past. How could he have killed a sweet young innocent little boy when they already ahve the real killer behind bars for the rest of his life while under a lot of stress? He should have been found not guilty after the trial. I have to admit, when I was watching this episode, it had shocked me and kept my heart pumping. It's very scary and it's very similar to the episode "Bodies" aired in September 2003 where a teen girl is murdered by a serial killer who turns on his lawyer that he was abetting felonies.

Great episode last night. I enjoyed the action as they were tracking the boy and thought that the twist was compelling, even if predictable! Dick is doing a good job in his attempt to save the show biggrin.gif

Can anyone tell me who the actor was who played the role of the kidnapped teenage boy? He looked like Haley Joel Osment.

Giving this one a weak "meh." Not as horrible as most this season, but...

I've seen this same plot line--long term kidnapping with the victim bonding with the kidnapper--before several times, once a few years ago on L&O. Also, hasn't this been done on SVU? Bad enough that the writers have to use the morning paper for inspiration, now they're just recycling old scripts.

It helped confirm my rule of thumb that if a kid appears in the early part of the investigation he will turn out to be the perp. This is especially true when the kid is a teenager.

The whole cast, especially SW, seemed to be just going thru the motions. Must be seeing the hand writing on the wall.

In a positive vein, I didn't find Govich as annoyingly intrusive as in the past. Also, maybe I've gotten used to them, but her, uh, assets didn't seem to be on display as much.
