Full Version: DOND with Oprah
NBC > Reality > Deal or No Deal
case_
Friday afternoon I was able to watch Oprah. I was so excited because Howie was on there. If you didn't get to watch, Oprah played DOND for someone in the audience. No one knew who she was playing for till the end of the game. I might add the money the money was to come out of her own pockets. Well she ended up winning $5000 for the audience member and I was a little upset because you can see it was clearly staged and she turned down $50,000. In which everyone was telling her to deal. But at the end they redeemed themselves by giving the lady $100,000. (This was given to her by Hershey). It was a relly good show. If you saw it, I would like to hear your opinions about it.

My take was two-fold:

1) Oprah played the game quite well, outside of knocking out Jenelle's #11 case with a huge amount early on. dry.gif At least, with Jenelle coming out at the end and helping out that one woman in the audience in winning $100,000...that moment alone was simply priceless. blush.gif Looking back, it was too bad we didn't get time to see any interviews with the Briefcase Gals. huh.gif

2) For those who watched in Chicago that rather cold Friday morning, the last commercial they showed had two of the brothers from Walter E. Smithe Custom Furniture outlet mocking the opening theme. One of them was even impersonating Howie's hand gestures with the simple question:

SOFA OR NO SOFA

I thought it was hilarious! rolling.gif
