LOVE IS IN THE AIR-- The entire ER is surprised when they arrive for the department dinner and find out that surprise nuptials are about to happen. Ray (Shane West) can't seem to handle seeing Neela (Parminder Nagra) and Gates (John Stamos) together. The romantic atmosphere seems to bring everyone together. Goran Visjnic, Maura Tierney, Mekhi Phifer, Linda Cardellini and Scott Grimes also star.

Is it possible that Ray saw them holding hands at the wedding or embracing each other in some way that can be misconscrewed as romantic? It's one thing to just see two people together but its another thing to see them together in a romantic way.

Plus I think they are trying to compete with something on another channel.

NBC has done that wth other episodes before, run extended versions, but I think too this might be because they know this is one event the fans have been waiting for and they're running a little long with the script to tell the story.

On the other front, the fact that they actually mention Ray and Gates and Neela in the official summary (OMG, Shane in an official promo, FTW? ) makes me think it's going to be something very big that happens.

Personally, I think Gates and Neela are going to kiss, and Ray is going to see it and blow up at both of them (that's not a spoiler anywhere, either, it's just what I think is going to happen).

If you go to nbc.com/er they have a preview they run there, you need to be in the US to view it however. That is the only legal one available however with the exception of whatever is connected to the Two Minute Replay on the same site.

Hi gang!

Anyone else get the feeling that tomorrow night's show and wedding is the end of ER for good? It is playing out to feel like a series finale? I gotta a funny feeling with the lagging ratings and storylines. Anyone else??

ER is scheduled to run one more season and actors are contracted through 14, the closure is just for a renovation as was explained in last week's episode.

Well, it's good to know that I am not the only one feeling this way. Why did I have to read the spoilers? Still hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

Oh my God! Its the missed phone call.

Oh my God!! Did Ray just die? What's going on here? I can't believe this!! I'm crying right now. What have they done? Is this the end of the roomies? I'm so sad right now that I don't even know what to do. This is unbelievable! Three years and they end it like this. It can't be. Someone please tell me what is happening. Did this really happen??? I'm tearing up right now. I don't want to even see what happened to Ray. TPTB probably killed him off the show. I don't know what they are planning to do with this but I don't think its going to be a happy ending. My guess is that the roomies are over. I'm sorry guys but this is to heartbreaking for me. Goodnight!!

I think in the season finale they will find out what happened to him and Neela will be hysterical. Either that or they leave it a mystery until next season....when he may or may not come back. That was just cruel. It was like taking a knife and twisting it, then stabbing a different spot, then going back to twist it in the original spot again! I can't believe Neela FINALLY realized she was in love with Ray only for him to get hit by the freakin' truck!!! OMFG!!!! And it was HER CALL that he got hit because of! OMG Pratt why did you send him home??!!! AHHHHH!!!!!

Neela asked him out and as he gets the message he gets hit! NOOO! Omg I am crying too! The way they flashed back didn't make me any happier. Why did Ray have to get drunk! Why did he not get the call!

That promo Neela at Ray's apartment! She must really care and worry for him. This is horrible I wont be able to sleep.

My sister is freaking out, so am I. My mom feels bad for Ray. Neela is just a few seconds behind, as well as Ray.

However, after seeing this, why do I just have this feeling stuck with me that it isn't over for good? Dispite what some spoilers say.

Oh God, my stomach is turning. This is the worst they could have possibly have done on this show. At least Mark Green got the chance to be with his family before they killed him off the show. WHY??? That was a horrible ending to such a happy episode. Neela finally, finally realized she loved Ray and now this. I can not believe this. I think Shane will be in future episodes and that is when they will get them to reconnect. It does not make any sense. I hated reading the spoilers because for weeks I've been on edge about this happening and it finally did.

I have to try and sleep, all I can say, one of the most powerful endings/starts to a relationship. That's what it simply is.

I was so happy, they got Neela to say everything we've all been talking about for months... feeling guilty about Ray because of Michael... having feelings for Ray... trying to dump Gates (finally succeeding)... it was all so perfect, why did they have to end it that way? WHY? IT WAS PERFECT!

W.T.H. I read the spoilers, and I didn't see that coming. I was expecting a car accident. Some much for hoping for the best. I've never been so depressed in my life.

Let me just say that this was a great epi. Hands down!!! It had romance, drama, comedy, tension, happiness, sorrow, everything. Grey's Anatomy can't even compare. One of the best ER episodes ever. Luby was just perfect. It was there night. Now, let me get back to crying. Please don't die Ray! Please!!!!!!!!!!

Man, if Ray dies, I will NEVER watch this show again. And I think alot of the other fans feel the same way. I hope NBC knows what they are doing...they are going to lose A LOT of viewers this way...

G-Unit, I agree. Despite the tragedy at the end, this WAS the best episode EVER. It had everything we wanted from Neela. So many of my doubts about Neela's feelings were washed away that I can still be satisfied now, knowing how she felt about Ray, no matter what happened (or happens) to him. Seriously. You could tell, she had finally "figured it out". And she figured it the way we all wanted her to figure it.

I would also like to say, the writers are incredibly cruel, having EVERY SINGLE PERSON except for Ray kiss Neela. :/

At least Gates didn't kiss her, but STILL... if Hope hadn't interrupted on the roof, that would have been killer!

I don't want to act like this wasn't Luka and Abby's episode. It was beautiful, I was so happy for them. Like I said at their blog, I had high expectations, and the wedding far exceeded them. Absolutely beautiful. The two of them were so true to their characters during this wedding. I am so happy for them.

I had not expected this ep to be so Roomie, at all. I was pleasantly surprised, as well as sadly smacked in the face at the end. I knew it was coming (not exactly in that manner), but it was still really hard to take.

You are right Galaxy. I am so happy Neela finally cleared the air. There is no doubt she is in love with Ray. I would like her to say it though. I would like both of them to say it to each other.

So many viewers are so disappointed by the way the show ended, and what happened to Ray I don't understand. Why did TPTB decide to go there. Come on the show is probably going to end next season at least start to make the Doctors happy for once. It is always one tragery after another. This is getting silly.
