Does anyone know if he's trying to save the show or if he's gone to other networks to try and get them to pick it up?
Should we try contacting him to let him know how much we support the show so that he can get on the ball?
What do you all think?
tankerwife2001

I'm sure that the actors have told him how supporting that we've been. But that would be great if we could get an email addy or something for him. Then we could all email him and tell him how we're trying to save TBD.

ive thought about that and im sure he's fighting for it. i mean, he thought this show was going to run for 5 seasons so obviously he wanted to be writing for it for awhile. and no writer or director wants to see their work being shut down.

That's a very good idea! Then we won't flood their phone lines with all of us calling. Please just ask if he's doing anything to get the show back for a 2nd season and let him know that we're all hoping and praying for a 2nd season. Ask if there's anyway that him and Bobby could let us know of any updates they have. I'm just hoping that they're still fighting like we are to get this show back on TV. Thanks!

I agree, we definitely don't want to flood him with our calls/letters. We should designate one person to speak to him on behalf of "the fam base". Otherwise he will just get sick of saying the same thing over and over again. NOBODY BESIDES WHO HAS ALREADY CONTACTED HIM SHOULD CALL!! We only need one person speaking to him and keeping us updated. Start a strand of what questions or comments we would like to ask or maybe even recommend that he register to these forums so that he can see first hand how we feel and how dedicated we are.

I called back when this thread was started and the secratary was great. She also told me that it ends with NBC. They ultimately control wether or not the show can be sold to any other networks. She basically told me the show was done

, but was very happy to pass along my message and compliments to the man himself. She seemed to be very happy to get a nice call form a fan. I have sent messages to all major networks out there and it doesn't really matter. NBC owns it all. TBD dies with NBC.

So we need to keep bombarding NBC?????? I think writing the networks is still a good idea. Why would NBC just hold it and do nothing??? Oh, yeh...I forget which peacock I am talking about. alright, great. so these are the questions so far:
1. Is the fight for the show still going or have we given up?
2. If the fight is still happening, are they working to get any new networks to pick up the show?
3. Is there any way that Bobby and Paul can contact the firecrackers? If not through me, and any information I can get from the phone call, can Paul and Bobby contact us? (Maybe through making a video or audio and posting it here or emailing me or someone and then having it posted here)
anything else? ill accept any questions from anyone, so shoot people.

Way to go Natasha. The main question is are we waisting our time fighting for a lost cause and are they fighting too? It is nice to know I can't stand the wondering and the anticipation. Thanks for doing this. I am surprised nobody has thought of this sooner! You go girl.
If you get the opportunity, ask if they would consider a movie or a book for the fans. I'm dying to know what all they had in store for the Donnellys and if there's no season two we may never find out. These guys are brilliant; I'm sure they could make an Oscar winning movie out of it!

I think this is an excellent question to expound upon. If the show itself dies with NBC, does Paul have any plans for The Black Donnelly's future in terms of a book or movie so the fans can get more closure? We've grown so close to each character that I highly doubt one last episode is going to tie everything up for us. A book or movie would surely do that if NBC nixes another season. Is Paul open to this idea? Wow do I hope so. I'd buy several books AND movie tickets!
I may have missed this question had it been asked already: Was or is there anything more we could or should do to save the show? What is NBC looking for since we can no longer provide ratings for them? Itunes sales have been doing well so it must be more than that. How do we prove to NBC that this show is worth keeping? Who do we speak to in order to be "heard"?
Above all, please tell him thanks for the creation of such a fantastic, excellent and entertaining show that will be sorely and greatly missed.
Thanks, Natasha, for volunteering to do this. I know I put a lot of questions here and I don't intend for all of them to necessarily be asked. They're just thoughts/ideas to help with what you plan to say.
Thanks again and good luck!

We have talked to "Joanie" and "Nadine" both of which have talked to them since the shows was put on break. They both told us that he was very excited to see the fans of TBD all rooting for the show and for everything they are doing. We did ask them if they had any "insider info" as to the fate of the show, and they knows as much as us. May 15th is our day...

They asked us not to do that anymore, they won't read our letters they just delete them, not sure if they even count them or pay attention. If we email them more casually(so they don't get too many at once) they're more likely to read it.
We have to write to different people, try to spread the word and increase the fan base.
In the top thread titled "ideas to save TBD" (something like that) there's emails for radio stations and networks to write to, I'm gonna update that thread later with magazines too that we could write.
