Ooooh, though on one hand I'm not liking these "cumulative" cliffhangers that aren't resolved in one episode, it looks like this story has all kinds of implications for the show.

So, as the previews hinted at, if Allison is outed, then that will totally change her and Joe's lives. The show would be headed into a completely different direction. She couldn't operate in anonymity anymore, and that would change the usual formula that we've all grown accustomed to. Maybe this change would be a good thing, so the show won't become stale.

What do y'all think?

I'm not sure about it. On one hand, if she is outed, then it will definitely change their lives. But will she be outed? Or is this another premonition? I really hope her secret doesn't come out. I think it would change the show and I personally like the fact that what she does is a secret. It lends an extra element of drama to it.

But I am SO loving this story. It is KILLER! I knew that Debra was gonna be a reporter and that she was gonna betray Allison, but day-um, not like that! Things are about to get REALLY interesting around here. I can't wait til next week to see how this one plays out.

I read an article at eonline and Glenn Caron hinted that there would be a cliffhanger and that the season would end with a "big bang" for Allison. Wonder what he means by that? Any ideas.

Either way, I love the show and will keep watching.

What if Allison gets fired from the DA's office? What if Joe also loses his job because he won't sign that liability waiver in order to go back to work? And then what if they lose their house because they can't pay the mortgage anymore and then to make ends meet, Bridget has to tap dance on the street and Ariel has to donate plasma for money?

But change is always good.

I don't think change is always good. That 's how a lot of TV shows jump the shark. Anyway, just like the end of Season 2, if Allison is outed, then all the cases Devalos prosecuted would be null and void. Devalos would lose his job and so would Allison, so this just borders on ridiculous. I love this show but I'm really not happy with the direction it's taking lately. I miss the family moments. This seasons there has been a lot less of them.

You guys are forgetting something... The show is based on a real life psychic that every knows about. It's only natural they would take the show in that direction. And the cases she worked on my be scrutinized, but not null and void. Cops have to follow EVERY lead, including those by psychics... That's why they hate when they get obviously phoney psychics given their opinion, because they still have to check it out.

Yea, I kept waiting for it to be a dream. -- Also, I'm constantly wondering how much of the show is "still" being based on the real life woman. --- I'm guessing they are doing this so that the show doesnt go stale. At the last episode it appears that Allison has vindicated herself and her boss by finding the murderer. At least the writers gave us that much, so that we could "sleep" until September. Most of the time, terrible big shocking season finales are given a light-handed conclusion the following Sept., so I'm sure the family's dismay and the "outing" will be swiftly easily settled, and I'm not going to worry about it. --- Also, I HATED the season long story. I like one story per show, and let it END. Like all the other tv shows, there's a family/friends story in the background, but the "mystery" (operation, lost person, etc.) is wrapped up. --- This is not "24". I did not sign-up to watch a continuing storyline. I feel the network cheated me. This story could have been told in 1 (or 2) episodes. I wont put up with it again next year. --- There's no way they could run out of psychic stories!(one per episode) what happened?
