On a lighter note, and to focus on what a good show this is.... Please share one of your favorite TBD moments so far.

My favorite of course is in the pilot when tears are running down Tommy's face as he has to kill for the first time. That whole sequence of scenes was incredible.
The second might be when Tommy takes one last look at the paint representing his and Jenny's union and walks away.

Snakelady, you stole mine! Hahaha..just kidding but i absolutely love the pilot. I thought it was so well done and that part with Tommy at the end was just amazing. But on a lighter note, I love the part in the pilot after they kidnap Louie Downtown, Tommy walks into the firecracker, Kevin walks up the stairs and sees Tommy and turns around saying "oh man..." like he was in trouble. Hahahaha. I laugh every time I see that part. I think every second of TBD was the best.

SO so many to choose from - ok here's a few - I can't choose just one

Tommy going back to the painter to watch him mix the colors - heartbreak every time
Human Hate Machine - A classic tv line
Joey and the steak and the dogs "Uh, I thought Joey could run faster than that"
Where Joanie and Jimmy are thinking up ways to get rid of Whitey

In the pilot when you first find out that it was Tommy driving the car. Cause really that was what set the tone for everything that happened afterwards. In fact the whole pilot was just too perfect so I think it shouldn't count. Other then the pilot my favorite moment has to be when Kevin gives that building inspector a smilely and says cool lets do it again. It was just a special kinda laugh, about two years ago me and my brother Micheal got drunk and had a contest of who could give themselves the most smilelys. To make a long story short, I won, then we woke up the next day and both lost real bad.

There are so many great moments!!

1). In the pilot when they get in a brawl at the wake and the walk out in the alley and Tommy is yelling "get out of the truck" and then he sees the cops and he says "okay, get back in the truck" I love that part!! And then when the cops don't move their car and he says "you gonna move?" Got I love this show

2). When we see him kissing jenny for the first time.

3). When Kevin says "Its like a happy face tommy" Cracks me up every time

4). When Tommy goes back and sees the color of the paint

5). When you get to see tommy in his whitie tighties!! That is just too funny

6). When they go and beat the drug dealers with the bats

7). In the pilot when everyone keeps telling tommy how much money kevin owes, and then when he gets to louie downtown and he says "oh, its 5000" and he hits him

8). When tommy and kevin are in the elevator to go and kill sal and huey and jenny comes out and says go eat your sandwich, and tommy says "I'll be back for it" Just the look in his eyes when he says that gets me every time!

9). When tommy tells Mr Riley "You don't know me, and you sure as H*ll didn't know my father"

10). When tommy starts hitting jimmy because he is doing drugs in the bathroom..and tommy yells "what are you doing" You can really hear how much he cares about his brother.


There are so many great moments to this show! I love this show! I will always love this show! ***** NBC for taking it off the air!


Firecracker FOREVER!!

How about the look on Tommy's face when he finds out that "Newton" is really Kevin. Priceless!

Also when he shows up at Nicky's Mom's apartment. That was great too.

Oh Yeah, I forgot about that -- it was great!

and tommys opening like when he is talking to kevin.."Three thousand kevin...and then he goes on to say "do you even know how to play high life" That is the best!

Yeah I loved the whole bar scene especially when Jimmy and the custmor get in a fight

"Hey you wanta yell in my other ear" and Joey still pounding on the machine.

Absolutely! That last five minutes or so, with the Snow Patrol song in the background is by far the best five minutes on televison. It was brilliant. I have the clip on my myspace!

1) When Tommy gets the scotch for Huey's wake by telling the store owner that Kevin was going to date his daughter

2) The scene in last week's episode where Nicky and Tommy discuss Lino and Tommy's dad, and the scene where Nicky told Tommy that Dokey did the kicking...I've never liked Nicky until then...he seemed more human at that moment

3) When Kevin waits for Tommy at Mineta's bar when Tommy goes to take the ransom money back

4) The look Tommy gives Jenny when he walks in to Reilly's diner after getting rid of Louie Downtown's body

5) The part where Nicky and Vinny are in their car, and Vinny asks Nicky to check out a rash on his stomach lol

6) The basement scene with Jimmy, Tommy, Jenny, Dokey, and Earl...especially when Jimmy puts his bad leg up and tells Dokey that he better leave him dead...ya gotta love how gutsy he is

Either in the pilot when Tommy and Kevin go down to the Italian's place to clean house or when all four of the brothers band together to steal the drug dealer's door. I pretty much loved any scene where they were taking care of business.

And those scenes usually had great music to go with them!

1. Loved the massacre scene in the pilot
2. Tommy kicking Dockey's *** in episode 12
3. Tommy talking to Nicky outside his mother's apartment
4. Kevin hijacking a taxi cab to steal some booze

There are lots of fave moments but one of my faves is when Jimmy gets the new sign for the bar and he puts an actual picture of a fire and a cracker. I love Sean's expression and he says "Flamecracker?" and Jimmy is like nice huh?

In the pilot, when Joey is going to the cash register and Tommy is like "How much you steal?" and Joey says "Nothing, not a nickel" and Tommy tells him to get out and Joey says "You got it champ", then kevin comes out sees Tommy coming and then is like d*mn and goes back down. That was a great scene.

Another fave is in The Black Drop when Tommy kicks the **** out of Dokey. It felt good.

Sigh, I could go on for a while... Farewell to one of the best shows on tv i am really going to miss it.

For me its easily the gang playing softball with the dope dealers and stealing the drug ladys door afterwards.

my favorite part is when tommy kicks the **** outta dokey because dokey definately had it comin and it shows how the donnelly brothers arent afraid of anyone when it comes to takin care of their family

Also, the look on Jimmy's face when Jenny comes in to the bar to give him his 50 dollars to stay away from Reilly's Diner. That was a good one!

i completely agree. when he was walking all slow and it was emotional and snow patrol is so great anyway. it was the best. when it showed his back and he reached for the knife.... good stuff.

that and the snow patrol part in the pilot, the last 7 minutes when jimmy gets arrested and tommy and kevin step out, their loyalty in the pilot gave me chills

I really have way too many to name, since this is really the best show ever written, but I think I have to narrow it down to all the times Kevin says "****." Ahahhh I love him

I know...the little nuances of his personality that they let us see are so funny...he has rules he lives by. He doesn't like people who disrespect cabbies, people who cut in line, and he hates squash, soggy cereal, and when people let the phone ring...but he's cool with using a rocket launcher lol

There are so many good scenes, I don't think I can pick just one.

Love the ending of the pilot, I could watch that over and over. Who am I kidding, I HAVE watched that over and over. Everything about it is great, the music, the actors, the directing. Just amazing.

Also in the last episode when Joani is pleading with Jimmy to go with the family. She really just wants to live a normal everyday life and you can hear it in her voice. Great actress.

I could go on and on here, so I'll stop with those 2 for now.

My favorite scene is when Kevin is beating up Frannie. I just love the passion that he had while he was doing that. And that's when I think that I first saw him really take charge of the situation. He knew something was up and went on his own (without anyone telling him to do so) to find out what it was.

i liked the look on tommys face when munst asked him what was his favorite moment and he remembers making love with jenny. very loving!!!!!

joey being smacked in the face with that phonebook. don't know about y'all but it gets me every time!

Everything I like has been mentioned already, however I always enjoyed the intoduction scenes with Joey Ice Cream talking to someone different every week. I mean how many lawyers did he go through, the detectives, the priest, a nurse, another prison mate etc. It was hysterical how he set up the beginning of every show. With such a heavy show it was nice to have this light hearted part to even out the tone.

Yeah, all great stuff. Kevin is a trip. Let's see....
The scene in the elevator at the hospital when Tommy and Kevin just look at each other before they go kill Huey and Sal.
When the artist asks Tommy what was the best day of his life and he says "When I finally got to be with the woman I love" (too bad it was only one night)
Tommy and Jenny's kiss by the coke machine
Tommy punching the crap out of Jimmy when he hears he extorted money from Jenny (he deserved that)
The flashback scene when Jenny gives Tommy the scarf and she says "Happy Birthday". He was beaming.
Tommy and Kevin pulling Dokey out of the bar and kicking the crap out of him
Joey pulling out the two gats and yelling "everybody freeze!"
Every scene where Tommy seems to be losing his patience with Kevin (and there were a lot of those) Tommy: "Where does he live?" Kevin: "Who?" Tommy: "Newton!"
But I think the scene in the basement at the wake was one of the best of season one.

...I could go on and on. I believe I have all the dialogue memorized. How scary!

I have so, so many but one of my favs is when they're trying to clear everybody out of the apartment building and they get hit with the balloons and Kevin's like "It's p*ss!" Classic

Thats a good one, I love Kevin's voice! I love when Tommy questions Kevin about Louie "you went down there with goodness in your hearts and you wore masks?!?!?"

I love the way he talks too! I think that may be the thing I like the most about him.

Now I know a lot of people don't like Ma Donnelly, but she has had a few great scenes as well, and we also don't know the full story of why she is the way she is. But for instance, when Sean was in the hospital, after Tommy and Kevin returned to the hospital from taking care of business, she looks down and sees blood on kevins sleeve, then just tucks it underneath for him... that is a pretty powerful action... then also the defining theme of the entire show was a line spoken by her... i don't remember it word for word right now.. but its when Jenny asks her a question at the hospital after Jimmy and Kevin left, it's something along the lines of "Sometimes you know people are good in the bottom of their hearts, but something makes them have to do bad things for a good reason." Those two actions kind of drive the theme of the whole series...of watching out for each other "Family Above All"

How about when Ma takes Shaun for the book to get his GED?? She asks the clerk if the book has everything he needs to know for the test and he says he doesn't know. She turns to Shaun and says he needs to education so he doesn't end up working in a book store! She's a cold momma, but she had some great lines!

Who can forget Tommy teaching all of us how to shoplift.

My most favorite moment will always be in the Pilot episode, when Jimmy yells at Joey Ice Cream to quit banging on the machine and that guy asks in Jimmy wants to yell in his other ear and that guy and Jimmy get in a fight and in an instant all 4 brothers are in the middle of the room, having dropped whatever they were doing, and fighting togather. I just loved that.

definitely. i got chills when i saw that and thats what got me hooked on the show. i completely loved that and i couldnt stop watching i had to watch it over.

Mine is when Joanie and Joey get to go with the Donnellys in the van during the last episode. They are both so relieved that it's really touching.

There were so many, but everytime I even think of "human hate machine" I crack up!!!!
