I mean, how am I supposed to tell them what I think? What I think is that they have screwed up. There are lots of people who agree with me. The Black Donnelleys people are posting over there in the various new show blogs.
No one else really cares to discuss the new shows. Only the upset people.
So, NBC has made millions of us very angry and sad, but interested no one.
Bravo, people. I'm sure that lots of you in the board room will read this (ironic eye-roll smile), so make sure you get advice from your Apprentice people regarding how to treat your clientele.
You blew it. Your numbers went down this year, and it looks worse for next year.
Bye. I'm heading over to watch Bones. I've heard that it's network supports it, advertises it, places it in a good schedule spot, and they listen to the viewers regarding plot development. Hmmm, humility and listening skills. Give it a try.

I'll tell you what I think! I saw nothing on the fall line up that interested me. The only show I'll be watching on NBC is ER. And it looks like that for only 1 more season.

that wouldn't surprise me. what did they expect, though? they're replacing the good shows with a bunch of lousy junk!

can we all say "cellar dwellers" again for next season? that fall lineup is horrible. I honestly think they must rock, paper, scissors for what shows stay and what shows leave. Its actually almost humorous. They deserve to be the lowest rated network. they have horrible choices in shows. Even their hit shows aren't really big hits anymore.

FOX does a great job of advertising. At least for it's big shows. I was a little upset that they ran Justice into the ground and are now doing the same thing to Standoff. But I still really love Bones and House and both are promoted very well. And yes, FOX does actually listen to it's viewers.

NBC never listened before. Do you think they'd start listening now?
They're network slogan should be:
NBC...We're not happy until you're not happy.

Who else thinks that schedule looks like swiss cheese?

It's called Borrowed Babies I think? But the names not important, just the fact that it's so wrong on soo many levels.

You know what it really is, right?
Whoever cancelled our beloved show has some wicked issues with criticism, especially negative criticism.
WAA!!! WAA!!! The suits that make hundreds of thousands (millions?) of dollars a year can't take criticism from ACTUAL PEOPLE!!! WAA!!!
Some thoughts on other people's posts-
Whomever said that Bionic Woman sucked, I wholeheartedly agree with you.
In fact, it ******* blows, and whomever came up with the idea of bringing it back as a series (which won't last three episodes) needs to be fired yesterday.
NBC, you royally BLOW. The only show I'm gonna be watching on your network is gonna be L&O:SVU, and that's pretty much it.

I just visited the NBC fall lineup page and read the descriptions of each and every show.
I wonder if any of those shows will survive. A new Bionic Woman? Poor Miguel. Two series canceled by NBC in one year.
A quantum leap ripoff?
And those reality shows? I think we've ridden the reality train to the last stop. Please make it stop. PLEASE.
I felt compeled to respond to each and every show...mainly "and they canceled Crossing Jordan for this? Call them back now. There'll be plenty of room."

I'm really bummed that they are cancelling Crossing Jordan. The show is great to watch, has great actors, and interesting storylines. I agree, there seems to be plenty of space where they could put CJ on the schedule. Do they really need to have so many game shows, and even worse, the same show on more than one night. They put good shows in lousey time slots and wonder why they aren't doing all that well. Why not give it a chance back in its normal time slot? Aside from that, they started the season out in January. Why couldn't they do that again this time? I'm sure more than one of their new shows will have failed long before then.
I really hope they will change their minds. I hope they do this while they can still get all the actors back for another season. I wouldn't blame them, of course. They have to earn a living. I just really enjoy watching this show and am going to miss it.
There isn't a whole lot left to watch on NBC, and it doesn't even seem like they are even trying anymore. Survivor isn't all that popular anymore. American Idol's ratings are going down every week. Grey's Anatomy is having problems from what I read on some other site (I don't watch the show, so I don't personally know) before their spin off is even out. CSI isn't #1 anymore, either. Every show's ratings go down eventually, but ones with good staying power and loyal viewers are more important than fad shows, like reality tv IMO. I still watch the L&O shows and ER, but that's about it for NBC. They don't really seem to care what the viewers want anymore. Not to mention every time I start getting into a new show, they cancel it, most of the time without even giving it a real chance, so why bother even starting to watch a show when they cancel it after 3 weeks.

Well here we don't get NBC, but it looks like all their shows are on channel seven, because CJ, Heroes and Las Vages are all there. I only watched 3 episode of Heroes but got sick of it, and we have no sign of LV coming back...I think it could be back in the non-rating season if it's not coming back anytime soon. I will definitely miss CJ. Us Australian's have 7 more episodes to go...ill be enjoying them while it lasts...it's so sad!!! Hopefully my recorder behaves itself!

I agree. Where's the NEW in the 'new' lineup.
I see a Quantum Leap ripoff, A Bionic Woman remake, and a Jake 2.0 ripoff.
I, too, am getting awful tired of the Reality shows which are as far from reality as you can get.

I think when ER goes off next year, I'll probably totally be done with NBC. That and Friday night lights. If they end up cancelling those, I'll probably go back to the cable channels on most nights, it's sad but NBC is slowly becoming the next corporate trainwreck, sadly.

I took a look at the "Fall Lineup" why do they have SVU (repeats)? They could put Crossing Jordan in that lineup and forget SVU repeats. The Biggest Loser is a lame show to put in the line-up.

it is disrespectful of them to end it like that. i don't think it's been officially announced that the show is being cancelled yet, but i read on the boards that a CJ crew member said that he got official wordd and that they were taking the set down.
