I know that everyone means well but I'm going to say something that might get alot of people upset.

If you carry on the way you have for the last few days, Crossing Jordan is going to be considered a Toxic product because of it's fans and no one is going to want to pick it up.

I've been trying to tell people this but everyone seems so ticked off that they can't or won't hear it.

This is not organized. This is to volatile. Passion is a great thing, going overboard with not at least trying to stay within rules given is not going to get what you want.

That is definitly great advice. I love this show and I was in shock and livid when I found out nbc is letting it go. No words can explain how PO'd I was. I called anyone I knew at nbc to find out if there was ANY way to save it, unfortunilty to no avail. Only hope is another network will pick up this AWESOME show!!

you quelled my anger some by saying that. i'm not angry at you, so i'm not going to bash you or the other mods. i'm still mad that my show got cancelled and my friends were banned, though.

Fo Shnizzle! Lets fine another network who would be willing to take it on. That's if the actors are available and want to do it. Wish there was a way we could ask the actors what they'd like.

Yeah that would be a good combo I think. I have been watching house on and off for a little while now.. It would be great to see new episodes keep coming of Crossing Jordan. It hasn't even been a week and I am already Missing my show and going through withdrawl...lol

To be perfectly honest, I really believe after reading Tim's response over on the coffeeroom boards, that you're not going to get CJ back even on another network.

Face it, if Tim and/or Alan doesn't approve it, it's not going to happen whether they are going to do the show or not.

And I can't really blame either of them. They went to **** and back to get us seasons 5 and 6 and got nothing but grief from fans when they didn't cowl down to what the fans thought was the best. (Even though it was their show and their vision.)

I really hope that it is picked up elsewhere but until that happens I'll just support the actors by watching whatever they are doing presently. (Which means I refuse to boycott NBC because Miguel will be on.)

Okay, I have a new idea. If our only hope is to get another network to pick up CJ, we have to focus on that. Since some of the advertisers cared, namely Verizon, maybe we should focus on having them help us get another network to pick up the show. we could ask them to maybe promise them more advertising, which would mean more money for the network. Plus, if we pick one with low ratings, like TNT, we're bringing in, at a minimum, five million viewers. I think TNT could use it. Apparently there are others we have to convince too.

I just don't know how we could do that yet. And let's not try and go for anything big. Maybe 8 - 10 episodes just to wrap things up. What do y'all think?

Excuse me a moment while I check if this thing is on.

YOU have to make sure that either Tim and Alan are going to be on board or the network that is interested is going to have to pay someone for the right to do CJ....

See, both campaigns I worked on, we didn't have to worry about that because the creator/producer/cast and crew were itching to come back. I can't say the same for this.

All I've been trying to do is help with what I've gone through with similar campaigns in the past. Circumstances in this situation are very different and I'm not sure what to suggest except for more passiveness and less aggression.

I'm sorry but you seem so overly negitive. The aggression you speak of was there at the begining when the fans where angry and shocked. Now everything seems to have the air of activism and I feel proud to be a part of that. And as far as the people behind the show having interest in continuing it you have to remember that CJ WAS originally their dream so seeing their fan base encouraging them may just give them the energy and passion they need for a 7th season. This campaign is different from many others mainly because this is for Crossing Jordan and these are Crossing Jordan fans.

At this point I would be thrilled with a 2 hour mini-movie, just to tie up the loose ends. If they gave us just that much and it was well written I think most of the fan base would be at least a bit happier.

Nope not negative at all. Realist yes.

The aggression at the beginning is precisely what will taint a program.

I'm truly hopeful that there will be at least a 2 hour movie, maybe more. But I also know what happens when a fan base becomes over aggressive and pulls the stunts that were pulled at the beginning, especially all the spamming of the other boards and then ******** about being suspended and/or banned.

Another thing is a campaign should have been put in place at least in the middle or end of season five when they started jacking around the time and how many episodes that were ordered. THAT should have been a warning sign that something was amiss.

It can still be done but there is going to have to be a total turn around on how the fans are acting and especially the way Tim and Alan has been treated and talked about.

I'll continue to sign petitions, write networks and advertisers and anything else reasonable. Boycotting as I said is not something I am willing to do because I will continue to back and support the CJ actors in whatever they do, no matter what that project is. THAT is what I do for actors/producers/writers I like.

I'll support Miguel, Jill, Ravi, Steve, Kathryn and Jerry (although carpool is really gonna be hard for me to watch---hate that form of comedy). I'll continue to watch Heroes and anything else Tim and Alan put out because I support them.

That's all I'm saying.

Devisun - I have read and tend to agree with most of what you posted. There was quite a bit of nastiness at first, and as has also been pointed out, it has mostly cooled.

You keep referring to campaigns that you have worked on, that things should have been done sooner, that some are doing the wrong thing etc. Now I appreciate the fact that you have had experience in trying to save a show and I'm sure that I along with many others will read your thoughts on the matter. What I am taking exception to is the fact that you seem to think that your way is not only the right way but the only way. People will express their opinions in their own ways, whether it is speaking with the sponsors, writing to the execs or even organizing a boycott to express that opinion.

There is no RIGHT or WRONG way to express your opinion on something, that is precisely why it is an OPINION, everyone has one.

So for good, bad or indifferent as fans of the show we are all in this together.

Thank you for pointing that out. I do not in any way believe my way is the only way and am very very sorry if that is what was coming through. I honestly do not mean that people should think or act like I do. Good lord what a boring world it would be.

Carry on
alexandrad_06
It's understandable. It's all still so fresh and some people are still very angry. I'll admit that maybe we didn't pick the best way to go about things, but they way they treated the show and everyone involved - including the fans, is very frustrating. I'm all for going about it the right way. I just wish I knew what that was.
