My entire family and many of our friends look forward to Crossing Jordan every week and can not believe it is being canceled. PLEASE say it is not so! We love all the characters and they all have so many stories yet to be told. It is refreshing and unique and sure beats all the dime a dozen reality shows out there nowadays.

I am so sad to see this show go. I know I have said it multiple times but it just can not be said enough. It's a great show. With Amazing characters and great stories every week. I wish that this really truly was only the season and not the series finale that we all watched last night....

I still am having a hard time believing that they canceled it. What an ill-advised move. I really hope we can get it back somehow.

I am so sick of reality shows. I have NEVER watched an entire show. There is nothing "real" about them. I want a quality story to take me away from all the "real life" I put up with each day at work. Crossing Jordan is one of my all time favorite shows; my "kids" ages 22, 29, and 32 love it! They don't like reality shows either!

i'm sick of reality shows too. i prefer fake shows, with people, who have fake breasts.

Reality. Yeah, which is the last thing I need after a hard days work. Just give me some fake people with fake boobs and fake jobs any day.

All my family and our friends feel like someone close to us has died and left a big hole in our hearts, this is terrible! If NBC does not want it I wish another network would buy the rights and continue the series with the same cast, writers, etc. so all the untold stories could continue to unfold.

After hearing this news I'm quite upset. It seems that in the last 2 seasons NBC has canceled a number of their best shows, only to replace them with whatever the current fad is. only then to cancel them as well. What's going on?

Bring back Jordan and the gang. It was just getting good with Lily and Bug and Jordan and Woody. Please don't end the show this way, give us devoted fans some sort of closure.

Crossing Jordan rocks. I think we should all pull for TNT picking it up. Does anyone know who picked up Law and Order SVU? I know they're not NBC anymore, maybe we could all convince them to pick it up.

My mom told me over the phone that CJ was cancelled and it made no sense! Like if the ratings were horrible, I could understand, but apparently Friday Night Lights was in the same predicament and they kept that. Also, when you start CJ halfway through the year, move it to Friday night (which is the worst ratings night on TV to begin with) then move it again to Wednesday night and barely promote it (I had to search the NBC website to find out when it was on and when the season began), what do they expect? Maybe if it actually stayed in a good time slot and the actually promoted it during other shows so people knew it was on, it could stay (as opposed to new shows that are usually bombing, and then encores on Friday night of other shows rather than keeping CJ on!) Just my two cents.

Um SVU and regular are on NBC but USA picked up CI...I'm pretty sure that's how it is next season. But I think regular L&O starts halfway thru the season (again...probably not going to make it because no one will know when it begins because NBC sucks at promoting these shows that start halfways through). But I'm pretty sure that's how its working.

CJ was one of the best shows on nbc they are total idiots for canceling it. I wish they would reconsider but I know they wont (heard it directly from them). Our option is to get another network to pick it up. That is the only hope at this point. I dont see why another network wont its awesome show. It would be a great night put it after HOUSE!! CJ then House would be awesome tv!

CJ on FOX with house sounds good to me...any network is better than no CJ at all

That would be an awesome night as far as I am concerned. Obviously TV executives subscribe to the same public opinion sources as the political gurus running Washington and the health insurance executives who keep raising co-pays and premiums, but then can't pay claims for insured patients but can give their CEO's billion dollar paychecks. Pay attention to the viewers NBC and or any other network who might consider picking up CJ.

Yes I wish they hadn't canceled this show. But i guess they (the network) thinks that we the viewers as a people don't want to think about what they are watching, i guess what we want is scripted and over edited "reality" tv. Yeah right! Just because the so called reality tv shows are cheaper to produce, you don't get the same amount from sponsors. why because no one watches reality tv anymore. The ratings for Deal or No Deal are going down every month, all the other bad game shows have some of the worst ratings on your network. Why keep them? Crossing Jordan used to be one of the top rated tv shows, but when the network screwed around with it, pushing the season premiere date back, not promoting the new date that they set, of course people lost interest. Fans got tired of the network screwing around with the tv show. Maybe if the network had more brains than they did game shows and reality tv shows, they would have kept this show on.

You think they would have learned from ABC with Millionaire. ABC filled up the entire schedule with Millionaire and when the ratings dropped, ABC's ratings went with it. Deal or No deal is the next Millionaire. Thanks to A&E for airing the episodes.

I just saw on IMDB for CJ, that some of the writer's are moving to 'THE BIONIC WOMAN.' Still I won't give it a chance because it is NBC and chances are it won't be on very long. I started a few shows this past season and they are gone. I remember watching BW as a kid it was original back then and what is up with the new BW with the girl being named Jamie Sommers? I guess we are all suppose to forget that part. CJ was original & different. We don't need repeat shows from 30 years ago.

The fans of Jericho have gotten CBS to renew their cancelled show for the fall season. We need to do something for CJ. They apparently sent nuts to the CBS network letters, e-mails, and started a ban CBS campaign. I've not watched NBC since they cancelled Crossing Jordan. I miss watching the Today show, Ellen, Law&Order SVC, etc. Does anyone know if such a campaign is in the works for CJ? This is the only quality show they had left on prime time and I should have been prepared that they would cancel it.
