On the coffeerooms Crossing Jordan board, we had a great suggestion. One poster suggested that we contact Ellen Degeneres. On the Ellen show, she's been known to call executives up to ask about a show while she's on the air...maybe if she gets enough emails, she'll do it for us.

There's a standard form with contact information and a "comment" area. We could hit on several points: the facts of NBC's treatment of the show. The 6 million plus fanbase (equivalent or greater than the fan base of some of NBC's retained shows, even without promotion). And touch on the fact that this is one show that had an incredibly strong female character, and now it's gone.

Then tell her what you want...I want NBC to bring the show back for a season in order to finally develop the relationship between Jordan and Woody. But I'd even settle for a limited episode run or a good (really good) 2-hour movie.

I think it would be publicity regardless. It would be getting our voice out there, if you will. Obviously she'd be calling because we've all complained that its been cancelled. Perhaps we're grasping at straws here but.....Oh h*ll I don't have a witty reply.

i would do it right now, but i'm so tired that i'd just ramble and rant and rave. no sense in any of that. i can try to do that tomorrow, in packing for my trip, doing loads of laundry, and checking my board.

Yeah, I'm done for the night too. Hopefull I'll be home by 5 tomorrow (I'm supposed to get off at 4:30) and I'll get some stuff done, including this. I had a movie to watch today but nothing planned for tomorrow.

I doubt they would take the call or even respond if she did call LOL I know its final and they wont bring it back so I doubt the idiots would respond they would probably hang up LOL

I think Ellen would be one to fight for the underdog - after all she was one for a long time. I think she would respect our cause, and see if there was anything she could do to help. I'm e-mailing.

i think you're right about ellen fighting for the underdog.

Its an easy and simple thing to do that doesn't take much time so why not do it for the show we love so much.

I just sent mine- I'll take any publicity for our cause at this point
