NBC, I was shocked and quite startled that you can simply end Crossing Jordan. It has possibly the strongest fan base of any of your shows: we waited nearly a year to see the first episodes of the new season which you airily replaced with some game show (that didn't do very well, if I have heard correctly) , and we followed with dedication when you pushed it from Sundays to Wednesdays.
Crossing Jordan has pushed me to be the successful person I am now. I watched and learned, and found a passion for the crime/medical field. Since the first time I watched CJ back in grade seven, I knew that's what I wanted to do. I suppose the only congrats I can give you is for hiring such an amazing team of actresses and actors. Jill Hennessy and the role she plays has been an amazing inspiration for me, and she has influenced my decisions in many ways. From acting to the medicine, she has been there. The thought of aspiring to Dr. Cavanaugh alone was enough to push my grades up so I could get into a program that can ensure my success in the future. Thank you Jill Hennessy for being someone I can look up to.
So NBC, I ask you, as so many fans have done already, reconsider the cancellation. If the actors are tired and don't want to do the show anymore I understand, but if you are just cancelling it to replace its time slot with another stupid gameshow that shows almost the entire globe how stupid Americans are, please think again.

And another thing:
For the administrator to post how awesome the NBC fall lineup (minus Crossing Jordan) is going to be in this chatroom was possibly the rudest marketing ploy I've ever seen.
Hooray. Cancelling my favorite show abruptly is going to make me want to watch NBC.

NBC as a die-hard Crossing Jordan fan I am HURT
! Why couldn't you just keep the show for at least one more season and let the fans get use to not having the show around then. Give us aheads up. It really does hurt me because as a senior in high school I am going to school in the fal and I owe Crossing Jordan much thanks for getting me interested into Fornesic
. I am going to major in Forensic Science when I start school in the fall.
I know that it was 'just' a show but when I started watching the show I was really taken by it. I took part in a summer program where I was given some time to do forensic work, and I KNEW THAT IT WAS FOR ME!!
Crossing Jordan & the awesome cast & excellent writers are to thank for this cause they caught my eye week after week, month after month, year after year, and KEPT IT for all this time. I made the decesion to make this my career path from 9th grade and I am going to make it happen. It may sound corny but you really can gain inspiration from anything, but once you stick with it you know that you are going to make it. NBC I hate that Crossing Jordan won't be there & I won't get to se Jordan & Woody have cute little kids running around BPD & the morgue, but it was fun, awesome, mind-blowing, & GREAT while it was here. I AM MAD AS **** THAT MY FARVORITE SHOULD IS GONE.
LOVE TO THE CAST, WRITERS, PRODUCERS, & EVRYONE WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO WATCH THE SHOW AS LONG AS I DID. YOUR ALL GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I feel like we should call this thread "Momentous Decisions We Have Made - By NBC Execs".
Every year, the suits over at NBC make some unusual decisions on what shows to keep, what shows to drop, and what new shows will replace those that have dropped.
I also see way too much emphasis placed on the Nielsen Ratings System which is antiquated, and not extremely accurate.
I see NBC shows like "Crossing Jordan", and "Kidnapped" getting canceled, NBC shows like 'Las Vegas being retooled, and NBC shows like "Thank God Your Here", "Grease: You're the One", and "Age of Love" arriving on the scene.
Now I've seen all the eps of CJ, Kidnapped, and Raines, and I have to say most of the episodes on these shows have been pretty decent. Yet when I look at some of the new shows being introduced on NBC, whether it be the actual episodes, or upcoming trailers, my friends and I sit there in front of the TV in amazment.
I sort of wish I was making the decisions on what goes and what stays. I could actually use an old Magic Eight Ball, the ones you shake and turn over to see what it says, and do as good a selection job as anyone at NBC.
It sort of reminds me of a few years ago when NBC had JAG, and the suits at NBC decided to cancel it. The next year, it moved to CBS and became a hit show for years.
So, what's the moral of the story here?
The moral is 'don't look for logic where it doesn't exist. You won't find it'.

NBC is not exactly in a very good position among the networks. Now they can cut their own throats by canceling Crossing Jordan. This will just put all my shows that I like to watch on CBS. Well to all the cast it would be nice to see CBS pickup this show. Good luck to all of you, Thumbs down to NBC.

If only NBC would listen to the fans. Anyone in business knows that it is better to do steady business over a number of years with a strong, returning customer base than to do a large "rampant" business that varies greatly from week to week. NBC had steady, dependable business with CJ. It's the tortoise and the hare thing all over again-no long term vision.

I have to say that I am disgusted by the new shows coming out on all stations and the fact that they cancel actual GOOD shows toput on some stupid A** game show?? please.. I mean seriously.. I can't think of anyone that walks into a room gushing about what car they looked at in Jay Leno's garage or can remember anything about Deal or No Deal except for how hot the girls are (thats the guys).. I mean.. really..
I LOVE Jordan and Raines.. I thought both shows were funny and interesting and had a unique twist to them..
I love how they say AMERICA wants to see these stupid shows they have now on all stations.. funny.. noone ever asked me..

CJ had excellent writing, a great ensemble cast .... we CARED about each character on the show! Obviously, NBC doesn't care about viewers, and they won't have to next season because they will have less of them. CJ was one of only 3 shows I watched on NBC (LO-SUV and LO-CI were the others). CBS has the best hour dramas. CJ will be much missed ... I'll always believe that Jordan wound up with Garrett.....

There once was a time when you could plan your day around watching a television show. I clearly recall waiting for Monday night to roll around so that I could get together with my girlfriends and watch the next juicy installment of “Melrose Place”. Those days are long gone my friends.
Welcome to the next generation of television. Now we have Tivo and DVR, which allows users to watch their favorite shows on their schedule. Fantastic! We also have the newer generation of television shows-reality tv! Will this trend ever die? When it was introduced about a decade ago, I never thought it would desiccate television as we knew it! Now, this is where I draw the line. I, personally, watch tv to get away from reality. I have to admit there are a select few reality shows that I do watch, but I am not an “American Idol” or “Top Chef” type of girl. The Real Wedding Crashers?! Yikes. All I want is a hunky guy, a hot chic and some drama! I also do not want to watch three different version of Law & Order or CSI. Geez, really, one of each of those shows is plenty! Gimme some variety!?
During the last couple of years, after a couple of my long-running favorites, like Charmed were cancelled, I started watching several of the new shows on television. I was particularly interested in some of the newer shows that they were introducing, such as Smith (CBS)-a great drama with Ray Liotta playing a long time jewel thief who is trying to get out of the business. His wife was played by Virginia Madsen, who I love! It also starred Amy Smart and the sexy Simon Baker. There was also Kidnapped (NBC), a story about a wealth family (maybe a Senator?) who had their son kidnapped and who call in a specialist to help. One of my very favorites was the comedy, Four Kings, starring Seth Green, a story about four late 20s guys living in a loft together. That show was HILARIOUS! I also watched Vanished (FOX), and Invasion (ABC), which actually aired a full season and a cliff-hanger season finale that was great! I also love court dramas, and since Law & Order has been monopolizing the market it was nice to have, what I saw as a “younger” version in Justice (FOX). This show starred Victor Garber of Alias (cancelled) and Kerr Smith of Charmed.(cancelled). Another show I watched religiously was Jericho (CBS). I also watched my old favorite, Crossing Jordan and the new and smart Studio 60 with Mathew Perry. But, I have to admit that the show that I would have started inviting girlfriends over for was Windfall (NBC). It was about a large group of friends who get together and buy lottery tickets at these “lotto parties”. They never win until one day when they hit the jackpot! I really like the shows that have multiple characters with multiple storylines and intersections of lives (Lost, etc.) I was overwhelmed with all of my choices! With my new DVR remote in hand, I recorded every single episode of each of those shows! Yes! I was overwhelmed with my choices of things to watch when I sat down to watch tv! There was a nice variety, and it seemed like the tv networks really knew what they were doing. I could watch about the end of the world as we know it, or I could watch a bunch of guys goofing on each other. Nice.
All of a sudden it changed. After only a few episodes, Smith disappeared. Shortly thereafter, I noticed that I hadn’t seen Four Kings in some time. Huh. Cancelled. I guess that they put it on some long break around the beginning of the year and then they brought it back after Superbowl with a dramatic reduction in viewership. DUH!? Then, they cancelled Kidnapped and Vanished. Wow, my tv shows suddenly got a lot less plentiful. Windfall disappeared and, although I signed petitions and sent emails to the networks, reruns of “old favorites” were put in the slots of some of these shows. I have seen the reruns?! Why would I rather see reruns than a new show? Do the networks ask themselves? Do they ask anyone?
I just found out that Jericho, the last new show I got interested in (and I have to say it had it’s less-than-stellar moments, but I was willing to see it through!), got cancelled right after the big season finale! I don’t even know what to say. Also, Crossing Jordan was cancelled after the season finale and Studio 60, which has been on an extended hiatus, is cancelled as well. What was wrong with these shows? No 5th graders?!
I spent numerous hours watching these television shows and getting INVESTED into the storylines, just for them to be dumped like day old trash. I have to say I am getting jaded. I almost don’t want to start watching a show until it has been on for an entire season because they seem to pull more shows than they keep. I don’t even feel like many of the shows get a chance to get viewership. What if Seinfeld had been cancelled in it’s first three episodes? The way I hear it, that show did horribly the first year it was broadcast. What changed between then and now? Are these networks just too worried about the “big bucks” and not considering the actual people who plan their lives around these shows? It is like reading a book and losing it before you can find out how it ended. Except in that example, you can always go get another copy of the book. What are we to do, as viewers? I have no recourse other than to not watch network tv.
Why cant they cancel “American Idol” or one of the other reality series midway? I would not mind one bit! Are these reality shows more important that NORMAL television? I just saw a commercial for a reality series about PIRATES. Come on!
The most infuriating thing is that, in most cases, they don’t even commit to a whole season for us viewers. It is like were part of a big experiment with the people who watch tv as the test subjects!! At least let us have a season of a show! Give it the chance to catch on. Sell us the fact that we can trust you enough to invest our lives into a show without getting left with tons of unanswered questions! We are impotent when it comes to your decision to keep or cut a show. All I can do is watch—but that just doesn’t seem to be working?!
So, here I sit. The only shows I watch now are Lost and Medium. I am forced to watch the shows that they may actually keep, not the ones that are the most interesting. It is really sad, but isn’t it a trap for these new shows? I mean, I am a loyal tv viewer, but I am not an idiot. With all of the current shows having their season finales, they have a new lineup of tv shows slotted to replace them during Summer. I will not be watching these shows because I do not want to get involved in a show that is going to get cancelled—again. So, unless I am an exception to the rule, I must assume that there are other people out there who have become jaded over the last couple of years as well. So, now the networks air these new shows, none of the “loyal viewers invest time in them until they are established—so, the show is cancelled. And so on, and so on…. To all the TV Network Executives: GET A CLUE!

I completely agree. I was so upset that kidnapped was cancelled and the lack of any kind of response by NBC to all the loyal fans. Every year they cancel great shows and replace them with garbage like "The Office". It would be fantastic if CBS would pick up Crossing Jordon. I feel NBC doesn't care about the viewers. Honestly Crossing Jordon was the last NBC program I watched regularly. There is nothing left here for me. I AM DONE!

I don't watch much network television--little of it is interesting to me. I'm not at all interested in reality shows like Survivor or American Idol or whatever; I find them repugnant in how they reduce people to acting like animals. I don't watch game shows--who cares? The plethora of conspiracy shows, with convoluted "secrets," like Lost and Heroes....whatever.
I do enjoy good stories, though. I've been watching House, ER, and, my most recent discovery, CJ. I'm always wary about getting hooked on a drama series; invariably, what I like is cancelled (Boomtown immediately springs to mind)....It becomes a case of "What's the point? It'll be gone in a few weeks, anyway." CJ was too irresitible--not perfect, by any means, but engaging. Character-driven, which is what I like to watch. And it's gone. I'm not surprised. Apparently, it'll be replaced by....the Bionic Woman...?
Please.
I heard that Friday Night Lights was a good show; I never watched it, because of the constant threat that it was going to be cancelled: why would I watch something that was going to be gone in a week or two? I've stopped watching ER in the past weeks, since all season there have been rumors it's heading for the chopping block. Had I known that CJ was another such discard, I wouldn't have started watching it.
Now all I hope for is that the producers and NBC will bend slightly and do the fans the favor of releasing the DVDs. I'm very afraid they won't, but I'm going to hope for something right from a network.
In the meantime, I think I'll go back to watching the news and sports. They don't get cancelled.

Yes a Crossing Jordan and C.S.I. crossover show would be awsome. They would be a great team. I wish I knew if someone was going to pick up CJ or if it is definately over for good. I can't believe the way they ended the show. That was a slap in the face to all of the shows fans.

I am ticked that Crossing Jordan is cancelled. I liked this show. I will admit i didn't get to watch it from day one from working at nights back then but I've watched it the last 2-3 seasons and I enjoy this show. Now the only shows left that have me watching NBC are the Law and Orders, Deal Or No Deal, 1 VS 100, Heroes, Studio 60, Earl and Friday Night Lights. Big mistake NBC by cancelling this show big mistake. I wasn't much of a drama watcher until all these reality show kept coming on (Survivor complete junk, Dancing With The Stars very boring and is beating Deal Or NO Deal. , the reality show i find worth watching is Last Comic Standing and that is because I like stand up comedy. I think that NBC needs to try out some of my shows ( some games, some sitcoms and some dramas) .

You know, CBS should pick up Crossing Jordan!!! That would be totally cool and I could watch all my favorite shows on one network, except for the Simpsons of course. A CJ/CSI crossover would not only be really neat but can you imagine the interactions of the characters. Hey Sara Sidle went to Harvard so she lived in Boston for awhile, possible link there!!! Ah what a great idea. Lets write to CBS and suggest it, hehehe. And then thumb our noses at the 'brains' at NBC.

Another example of CBS caring and listening to their fans.
The fans of Jericho have gotten CBS to renew their cancelled show for the fall season. We need to do something for CJ. They apparently sent nuts to the CBS network letters, e-mails, and started a ban CBS campaign. This worked as Jericho has been renewed for 07-08.
Another example of NBC not caring and NOT listening to their fans.
I've not watched NBC since they cancelled Crossing Jordan. I miss watching the Today show, Ellen, Law&Order SVC, etc. Does anyone know if such a campaign is in the works for CJ? This is the only quality show they had left on prime time and I should have been prepared that they would cancel it.

WHY DID YOU CANCEL CROSSING JORDAN? REALITY SHOWS SUCK ISN'T IT OBVIOUS YET THAT PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF THEM? THEY'RE BRAINLESS AND MEANINGLESS WHO CARES? PEOPLE HAVE THEIR OWN LIVES FOR REALITY. WHY GET INVOLVED IN SOMEONES ELSES? ARE THERE THAT MANY PEOPLE WITH NO DIRECTION IN LIFE THAT THEY HAVE TO SUCK UP OTHERS' REALITIES? OR, IS IT JUST THAT THE TV EXECUTIVES THINK AUDIENCES ARE THAT STUPID? WHAT ELSE CAN YOU WATCH WHEN THAT'S ALL THERE IS? FORTUNATELY, I DON'T SPEND MUCH TIME IN FRONT OF THE TV ANYWAY. BUT WHEN I DO CJ WAS ONE SHOW I ENJOYED WATCHING, ALWAYS ENTERTAINING, ALONG WITH OTHER INTERESTING, THINKING ,SHOWS SUCH AS ON COURT TV, THE HISTORY CHANNEL, DISCOVERY AND THINGS WITH CONTENT, NOT CONTESTS! AND WHAT THE HECK WAS UP WITH PUTTING CJ IN DIRECT CONFLICT WITH AMERICAN IDOL? THAT WAS LAME AND PRACTICALLY A KISS OF DEATH, WAS THAT JUST TO SEE IF IT WOULD STAND UP? THAT'S OBVIOUSLY NOT FUNNY. OR, WAS THIS ABOUT JUST GETTING TO 100 EPISODES THEN GOING INTO SYNDICATION? I WON'T BE WATCHING ANY OF YOUR PROGRAMS, FOR ANY REASON. SO, I GUESS THAT'S ONE LESS VIEWER FOR "NBC"...HEY, HERE'S YOUR NEW ACRONYM FOR THE FALL SEASON...

I never realized how well the show's on USA, TNT, ETC do until recently. I have never watched MONK and I never knew it was originally on ABC. So many have been on for quite awhile and if they were on the regular networks, they'd be gone. Plus, cable station's run show's during the summer and do excellent. I guess that goes to show that cable is getting better quality show's and viewers know that and that is why they do good during the summer months. I think USA or TNT should pick up CJ. As for NBC giving us closure, I don't think it will happen. They gave up last fall when they didn't air in the fall and we all had to wait until January. Even then we were wondering if it was ever coming back. I am done with NBC.

CBS listened to their viewers and are now bringing the show back. If you go to cbs.com and check the Jericho message board you can read about it. We should start a mail protest. Nuts were appropriate for Jericho because it was a reference to an episode. I'm not suggesting we send body parts to NBC executives...Perhaps one of you can come up with something...

Just to update (if you don't know already), NBC's ratings are dropping like rocks. I don't know the exact statistics but I would guess they have lost 15-30% of their viewers already.
With the continued adding of ridiculous shows that, once again, prove how stupid their country is, they can only sink lower into the sand. It will be unfortunate to see NBC go under, I liked listening to the old radio shows and things they used to have, back when they are a good company that cared more about its viewers/listeners, rather than rolling in the money (which they aren't doing a good job of as of late if I don't say so myself!)
Anyways, write your angry letters, remember to stay relatively respectful and don't go overboard, swears and caps will probably get you no where.
As for you NBC, what goes around comes back around

I am also looking forward to dropping NBC's ratings this fall...
I love the idea of them falling to 5th or 6th. They seem to have forgotten that television is for the people, not for the executives. With CBS solidly in first place, I think the people who have spoken...CBS is largely crime-drama driven. There are 3 CSIs, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Numb3rs...reality tv and gameshows only cause a temporary blip in the ratings (take note of that NBC). Yes, they're cheap to produce, but when people grow tired of them...NBC won't have anything in the top 30.
And I don't think going all sci-fi all the time will be the solution either. Heroes was only a moderate success. Giving it 2 spinoffs and creating other sci-fi based shows will make it one of many shows to choose from. I doubt people will choose to watch all of them.

Fans of the cancelled CBS show Jericho were able to bring their show back through the use of a mail protest. They sent nuts to CBS executives in the mail.
CBS received 40,000 pounds of nuts from Jericho fans. There are videos at

I have been watching Crossing Jordan since the very beginning. I love this show! I was in labor for my daughter and would not push until Crossing Jordan was over that night. I am angry and upset that NBC feels the need to take off shows that have such a fan base. I hate reality TV I am so sick of it. I have to agree with the person who said they used to get together with their friends and watch what happens next on Melrose I did the same with 90210. I still do this my sister in laws with CSI and crossing Jordan. If I had a direct line with the producers I would like to ask 3 questions 1. I understand shows can't go on forever but why cancel this show? In January it was posted they looked forward to another 100 episodes. 2. Why the crappy reality shows? Do you really think because people talk about them in shock they like them. Reality shows only confirms what the rest of the world thinks of us. Obessed greedy fat people who want to be famous. 3. I unerstand that our society is totally screwed up and we will never get back to family oriented shows like Cosby Show but for once just think of your fondest TV shows growing up and remeber how you felt waiting for that night you just couldn't wait for the next week. I feel this way about Crossing Jordan. Please just consider for one moment that you actually listen to the fans or sell this show to another network the fans would gladly follow then you can run all the reality TV you want because there will not be anyone with a brain watching this network any more and you won't have to worry about ratings because the brainless lemmings will continue just flipping on the TV zoning on the crap.

I AGREE WITH YOU AND WITH EVERYONE ELSE THAT RESPONDED TO YOUR POST.
ENDING CJ WAS A TERRIBLE DECISION - IF YOU CAN EVEN REFER TO THE SERIES AS "ENDED"??? NBC JUST "TOOK IT OFF THE AIR". THEY DIDN'T END IT....THEY DROPPED IT AND WITH AN EXCELLENT (AND EXTREMELY WELL ACTED) "CLIFF HANGER" EPISODE TO BOOT. THAT STILL WASN'T ENOUGH FOR NBC. THEY TOOK OUR DISAPPOINTMENT EVEN FURTHER, ACTUALLY POURING SALT ON OUR WOUNDS BY LEAVING US HANGING!!! WITH NO WARNING OF THE SERIES DEMISE!! AND NO CLOSURE (AFTER 117 EPISODES)!!
I WOULD NOT HAVE WATCHED THE LAST EPISODE IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT IT WAS REALLY A "PART ONE OF TWO" EPISODE...BUT THERE WILL BE NO "PART TWO". THAT'S NOT THE WAY I WOULD HAVE WANTED TO REMEMBER THE SHOW IF I WERE GIVEN A CHOICE. I AT LEAST WOULD HAVE KNOWN NOT TO WATCH THE LAST EPISODE (EVEN AS GREAT AS IT WAS).
I WONDER ABOUT HOW THE ACTORS FEEL? FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN ON THEIR WEBSITE, IT SOUNDED AS IF THEY WERE EXPECTING ANOTHER SEASON TOO. THEY WERE SO PROUD OF THEIR WORK ON THAT PLANE CRASH EPISODE - THEN NOT BE ABLE TO FINISH IT.
IT WAS VERY UNPROFESSINAL AND BAD BUSINESS!!! NBC IS NOT THE ONLY NETWORK OUT THERE. READING THE PROTESTS AND THREATS OF BOYCOTTING NBC IN THIS POST ALONE, PROVES HOW UNHAPPY AND UNSATISFIED VIEWERS ARE. SO MUCH SO, IT IS OBVIOUS THAT NBC WILL LOOSE A LOT OF VIEWERS OVER THIS. VIEWERS THAT WERE COMMITED TO, AND ENJOYED CJ SO MUCH. IT REALLY SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT THE NETWORK AND HOW MUCH THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT HAVING HAPPY VIEWERS.
I HOPE THEY LOOSE ALOT OF THEIR MARKETING BASE AS WELL. WHY WOULD PRODUCT MANUFACTURES WANT TO ADVERTISE ON A NETWORK WITH SUCH AN UNSCRUPULOUS REPUTATION?

EVERYONE:
TRY GOING TO nbc.com HOME PAGE. SCROLL TO THE VERY BOTTOM. CLICK ON "CONTACT US". GO FROM THERE WITH YOUR FEELINGS ON THE CANCELATION OF CJ. YOU MAY HAVE TO FILL OUT A SURVEY FIRST BEFORE YOU CAN SEND YOUR E-MAIL, BUT IT'S WORTH IT.
I GAVE THEM MY OPINIONS. I HOPE THEY ACTUALLY READ IT.

NBC, you must really not care about your fans.
Finding out that CJ was cancelled was like finding out your best friend is moving to Africa or something. CJ has been one of my top three favourite shows for several years now. It was a refreshing break from all the American Idiot and reality TV crap that you popular networks are shoving down our throats. Just because 80% of the population are complete idiots who are titillated by the nonsense you all are selling us, doesn't mean the rest of us should be punished.
You didn't give Steve Valentine enough screen time, you plastered Woody/Jordan all oer the place, poor Bug got the crap beaten out of him, and now you are further punishing us by giving in to the majority and taking away a show that is wonderful and inspirational. Well done, NBC. Well done.

I mean.. really..
jordan had another thing going for it, besides the witty characters and good stories: the characters were sexy. nbc would have been better off keeping CJ and canceling deal or no deal.

I refuse to watch NBCs fall primetime shows because they canceled a very good show, Crossing Jordan! Its my favorite show..one of the best on T.V.! I am a little confused on how NBC could be so stupid to cancel a show that brings in a decent audience to bring in shows that probably are not going to do very well. I want to start a campain to bring the show back. It worked for 7th Heaven and Jericho, who says it cant work for CJ? If people stop wathching NBCs shows and send NBC a bag of nuts with a letter explaing that NBC is "nuts" for canceling Crossing Jordan and why you like the show then maybe they will bring it back. I just want to see how many people accually do it and if NBC will respond. Even if you dont watch the show send them some. I have included the addresses to both NBC studios. Maybe this will work!
P.S. If you are interested in seeing the show it comes on A&E in the mornigs and the afternoon just check you local listings for the exact times!

i agree with you. im not going to watch nbc again either. it was stupid to cancel it, stupider to cancel without giving the fans much notice or proper closure, and stupider still to replace it with reality shows and gameshows.
as for the campaigns, it prolly wont work. we tried. although nbc is nuts, so sending them a bag of nuts would be appropriate

The "nuts" idea was good but for Crossing Jordan I think we should send something more related to the show...like disposable medical exam gloves, cheap, light and easy to ship a pair in an envelope. They can do with them what they will .... Jericho also had a DJ involved getting the media informed. Who out there wants to take this on?

Thats not nessiarly true. As someone else stated they brought back
Jericho due to the huge public out cry for the shows return. If we had enough people on board and willing to make loud enough and long enough waves it could work. It would require publicliy however. A boycott of NBC would definetly help. Again it must be really public and have more than a few dozen people willing to perticapte. I am new to messages boards but if any of you know of someone popular enough to pull the fans together to get this started count me in. I discovered today that there are now only two shows left on NBC that I even watch and one of them is Days of Our Lives which is daytime and I've been watching since fifth grade. I chose not to pick up on any more of NBC's shows espically since canceling CJ.NBC used to be the channel to watch but I discovered today after looking at a program line up on aol that almost all the shows i now watch are on CBS. Reality TV is a fad and once NBC learns that it will be to late and they will cease to exist. It does have its place and serves its purpose and some of them are good shows but a few here and there will suffice not a whole line up. When I feel the need to watch tv it is to be entertained and lose myself if the lives of charters I grow to like and not to watch real people I will only get a glimps of for a few short weeks like one long running game show. I intend to write NBC with my feelings on the subject and hope enough other people join me to make a difference. Look at it this way if we all write we may get our show back. Even if we don't all we've lost is what like .35 or whatever postage is up to now a a few min. of our time. If we chose not to write however we gain nothing and have no hope for the returne of a great show. I also propose we start an e campaing. With enough signutures we can foward it on to NBC. We just need email address to start. Anyone intersted post your email address and i will type out a quick letter and start the fowards. Thanks for letting me vent. I don't know if this will help get the show back on or not, but NBC has a survey about what channels you watch and what shows you watch and how often. Maybe if enough people take the survey and mark that they watch Crossing Jordan regularly then they will put it back on. I hope so. Crossing Jordan was one of my favorite shows on tv.

I can't believe they cancelled CJ just as soon as it started to get good. Do you know how long I've been waiting for Jordan & Woody to get together? Hopefully they can change their minds & CJ can make a comeback.
