Tim Kring has graciously posted his thoughts on the cancelation and then answered a few questions put to him. His user name over there is El Jeffe.

Ok...now you make me laugh. I might not have said that before...

I emailed Tim Kring through coffeerooms email on one of his El Jefe posts. Like you've requested, I was actually nice. I wasn't angry (but expressed disappointment), and I asked him questions without airing them to the crowd.

I also very nearly apologized for some of my angry posts and indicated that I can't know what he did or said, but was disappointed that I didn't see anything on Crossing Jordan related to him recently.

I also politely disagreed with some of his statements and provided input and insight relative to ratings, CJ, and other poorly rated, highly promoted shows that were retained.

And in the end, I told him that the show was a great season finale but not a great SERIES finale. And what was worse, it wasn't promoted as a series finale. You know, there are probably a couple of million people out there that won't figure out until the fall (or January) that CJ isn't coming back. I again indicated that giving the fans closure (brief episode run, or a movie episode) might be the way to satisfy the fans.

I also asked a few more things, and said a few more things, but I wanted to try the nice-person approach. I can only hope he emails me back.

I agree with CB, you're funny. And thanks for the link to Tim's post. It was really really nice to get his side of things.
