I AM OUTRAGED!!!

There is not a fan more devoted to Crossing Jordan than I! I have followed CJ since the very beginning. For six seasons I have shared in their joys....their heartaches...their relationships. I have been there for every case, every first, every tear that was shed. To end the show now, without any real closure for the characters (and for fans like me!), and when it has so much potential to go so far, is sad for your network. It is my favorite show and, while it may not seem important to you, it is important to me and the millions of viewers who have tuned in every week (regardless of the schedule changes) since day one! You will lose many, many viewers if you end this show at this time. WE (my sister and I) NEED CLOSURE! And I know that we can't be alone in saying that. Please give us at least one more season of Crossing Jordan! I can't tell you how happy I was when Jordan finally told Woody how she felt about him, but what happens next? What will happen when they get back to Boston? What about Lily and Bug? What's next for them? Is Macy going to live...or will he die? Will Jordan and her father be reunited? Will Nigel and Kate become more than just friends? These are just a few of the questions that millions of fans are asking and they need to be answered! I'm sending out a petition and making shirts to sell...I'll do anything to bring the show back for just one more season (or more!!)
Thank you! Your BIGGEST and MOST DEVOTED fans and SUPPORTERS,

Where did you get info that Crossing Jordan was being canceled? This is the first I have heard about this. They have ended this season just like last years season, and left everyone hanging not knowing if it was coming back. I hope your info is wrong.

NBC has revealed its fall line up and Crossing Jordan is not on it... It is also on steve valentines website as well as countless others... We are all deeply saddened by this and not happy with they way the ended the show for that matter. The finale would have been great for a season finale but did no justice for a series finale.

No, it's not wrong. Very true, they didn't plan on ending it, that's why they left us hanging. I heard a rumor that they were going to make a few more episodes just to tie up the loose ends but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Yes; it is true!!! I read it at YouChoose.net. A site where you can go to petition stupid mistakes like this one! I am so disappointed. I can't believe that this is happening to yet another GREAT show?!?! H***, while their at it, they might as well go ahead and cancel Heroes, as well. I've already heard rumors that Medium is being either canceled, OR moved to the network that owns it. I guess I won't have too many reasons to tune into NBC, anymore. I mean they are even writing ER into the toilet; it will be lucky, if next season isn't it's last. The networks think that all people want to see is REALITY TV, and that stupid Am. Id. show. I'm sick of it!!! I'm thinking about boycotting all 4 big networks. They all seem to have the same bad habits anymore!!! QUOTE (mom59 @ May 20 2007, 02:09 PM)

I am so disappointed in NBC, I have been a big fan of NBC for years and years, I never watched any other network, except for my sports (HUGE Dodger fan), but in the last couple of years I have noticed I'm watching other networks more, it all started when they cancelled Third Watch, friends went off the air and others. Then it was West Wing (LOVED that show), now it seems every time they put on a show I enjoy, they cancel it a week or so later. Black Donnellys, Raines, and Studio 60 to name a few, with great writing, good charaters and good actors- all cancelled. They even put Medium on mid-season instead of fall like it deserves. The only shows I still like on the air is Heroes and ER, oh and SVU (which I heard will be cancelled next year). I loved Crossing Jordan from the beginning, I instantly feel in love with the characters and reconized the great writting behind the wonderful acting. Why take a jewel off the air? Not everyone is into rotting their brains with pointless reality shows and stupid dramas that wouldn't know a plot if it crawled up and bit them on the butt. I AM SO MAD that all the good quailty shows are being taking away from us. They didn't even give it a good ending, what about all us loyal fans that have tuned in every week it was on, no matter what night you put it on. I remember it used to be on Monday, when it moved to a new time slot- I stoped watching what I was watching to watch Crossing Jordan. Same when it moved from Sunday to Wednesday. I don't care if you just do Internet only seasons, bring it back for at least one season, or at least a better finalie. I think us loyal fans deserved that before we start watching CBS and ABC more. I think I might even watch WB, lol and thats saying a lot. The only show that network ever made worth watching was Supernatural. Hey I'll even buy it on DVD, make new seasons that go striaght to DVD- I'd by it! I can't believe with all the people that I have heard and seen writing on sites like this that loved Crossing Jordan, that it doesn't have enough fan base to keep it on the air. I WANT CROSSING JORDAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NBC is making me crazy! (As are the other major networks!) What is with all the cancellations??? They are taking Crossing Jordan off the air? I am really sick of this! Okay, I can understand that after a period of time, actors on a show may be ready to move on to something else. If that's the case, then of course a show should end. Actors should be free to choose a different path. But give us a better ending! After six years, we deserve some real answers, and real closure. These are characters that the fans are invested in. Seriously, NBC needs to stop cancelling all these great shows (Crossing Jordan, Black Donnellys, Raines, etc.). It makes me sick when a show just suddenly vanishes! Could you at least give us something of a wrap up? Rather than just pulling the plug, maybe you should consider a real ending. And what is it that you are replacing these fantastic shows with??? Even more game shows and reality shows?? A few of those are okay- even playing them in the summer would be fine- but what's happening to the serious kind of television fiction, with real writing and acting, characters that evolve, and continuing plot lines that fans follow religiously? I am so disappointed! NBC get it together!!! (I am so ticked, so thanks to the other people leaving messages for letting me rant!)

I am so disappointed in Nbc. I love Crossing Jordan and I am a huge fan. I understand that the actors may want to move on but the least you could do is give us a better ending. I HATE the way that you ended the season. The least you could have done was to mention that it might get canceled before the season ended. There now is o nly 1 maybe 2 shows that I will now watch on your network. I want more Crossing Jordan and I hope that you reconsider taking it off the air.

you're not alone in wanting closure. i want to know what happens to the characters, too. i want to know what happens to garret after he gets back to boston, and i'd like for lily and bug to get married and possibly make a baby together.

ok, this is my first time to successfully login to the message boards, and to read about the cancellation of Crossing Jordan has thrown me for a loop. Things were finally going right for my fave couples on the show, Lilly/Bug, Jordan/Woody, and then NBC has to pull this on us, the loyal viewers and fans of the show. This is happening to my ultimate couple over on CSI, and I waited six years for that too. (GSR rocks) But anywhoo, NBC has disappointed me yet again, and frankly ER isn't as good as it used to be to keep me watching this network for much longer. I have followed Crossing Jordan through the time changes, the day changes, and still watched faithfully. Are they going to do the same to Medium as well, leave us hanging and then not announce the cancellation. At least I have reruns on A&E to keep me happy til we see Jordan released on DVD (hoping really hard). If only A&E would stop moving it around too. If the rumours over at CSI are found to be true this fall, then I will not be watching two networks intead of one. NBC, listen to your viewers, and bring back our show!!! Sorry for ranting, I tend to do that when I get upset or irritated. Time to cry now, sorry.

I'm mad as heck at NBC!! Why did they go and cancel such a good show like Crossing Jordan!! I understand and respect the fact that the actors wanted to move on, but the least they could have done was to make a tv movie wrapping all of the loose ends up or have a series finale that does the same... *sigh*

... Thanks for NOTHING, NBC!!
