You couldn't have said it more clearly! With Crossing Jordan gone, I have no use for this network. I said it months ago, that NBC is the new gameshow network.

Totally. Now I can watch Criminal Minds on CBS without worrying about what I'm missing on CJ.

Yeh, but I want both. I can record one of them.

I was so disappointed to hear that Crossing Jordan had been cancelled. There are few network primetime shows that I watch. This includes all of the major networks. I like Smallville, on the CW, Heroes on NBC, Medium, Law and Order-CI and SVU, and CSI on CBS. Other than that, I tend to lean more towards the Discovery Networks and A&E,.

You probably wonder why ratings slip. Well, hear is my opinion.

1- Stop changing schedules / lineups.

2- Stop delaying season premiers until mid season.

3- Stop having long gaps between episodes. A good example was the 4 week gap between episodes of heroes.

4- Stop relying on Neilson Ratings as much as you do.

Look at your emails about viewers’ opinions. Start a survey asking people what shows they like and what shows they don’t.

I watched the first few episodes of “My Name is Earl”. My opinion, ridiculously stupid.

30-rock, well I can’t stand Alec Baldwin, so ….

The Office. I was turned off by it just by the promos.

Identity, was less than ok, I watched only one..

1 vs. 100, the same.

Deal or No Deal, come on, no one will win the million. What a waste of the beautiful models’ time.

Game shows should be back on daytime like they used to be.

Reality shows should be back only on MTV, being that their showing of music videos ended a long time ago.

I could care less about Trump and who he is hiring and firing.

Thank God you’re hear. I’ll be glad when they are gone.

The Real Wedding Crashers. What were you thinking?

Heroes. Excellent.

Medium. Excellent.

Las Vegas. Not Bad.

Law and Order- CI and SVU. Excellent

And last but not least, Crossing Jordan. Excellent.

Sure hope you revisit your decision about canceling Crossing Jordan.

I have seen the message boards on the NBC website, and there seems to be allot of people that are highly disappointed that Crossing Jordan will not be back next fall.

Anyone notice how the announcement for the live blog for Heroes/Tim Kring was posted at the start of the "Crossing Jordan" blog? *shaking head* Seems off topic to me...

I'm new here, but I've read a lot on this board. While I know that NBC is hoping for spillover, trying to build Heroes fans from the Tim Kring fan base Crossing Jordan has, isn't posting off-topic information without posting it as off topic a violation of the agreement terms and conditions for board use? I wonder if the message should be reported as off topic.

It is true that posting off-topic information without an "off-topic" header is against the agreement, right? I'm only asking because I value the information sharing that goes on here, but I'm unclear as to the requirements, and I'd like to get them straight.

NBC has got to pay attention to the fans. That is how they make their money, isn't it? But apparently they don't care. I am boycotting NBC, I even programmed the tv so that when I am channel surfing NBC does not come in so that I am not tempted to watch something on there. But I don't think I would be. It's mostly junk anyway. I came into the Law and Orders so late that I catch them on USA or TNT. I even convinced my mom to stop watching NBC. Has anyone else noticed that NBC advertises Heros on USA? I want my Crossing Jordan back!!!! Please!?!?!

I just got my Entertainment Weekly yesterday and was reading it and there was an article in it about "Are you killing TV". It states the way we watch TV is changing and our favorite shows are hurting. The article blames schedule interrupts (including DVR's and downloading and watching episodes on the internet) because families have better things to do than stay home and watch TV. It also blames hiatuses and daylight savings time (the article states it came 3 weeks earlier this year). So I guess what the article is hinting at is to throw away your VCR's and DVR's and stay home all the time and watch TV or your shows will not survive. Figures don't it. Thought I would fill people in.

it was definitely disappointing when they cancelled CJ. i'll still have fanfic and dvds, but it won't be the same without the cast.
