The season finale was very predictable but still good. I think Peter went nuclear and Nathan flew in, grabbed him and flew into space. Peter blew up in space not on earth Nathan went up and let momentum carry peter into space but still able for peter to fall back into earth. Sylar still lives and now knows he can be stopped because he lost his first battle and will teach peter how to control several abilities. He will help kill the bad guy in season two and try to take his powers and be killed by peter.

Seems to me that heroes can only use one ability at a time but can use the same ability multiple times like telekinesis on 2 or more objects. If they can use more than 1 ability at a time the nuke would have drained peters other abilities and he would have been unable to fly himself. I think the season finale should have introduced the Haitians way of blocking powers and peters mothers ability.

The only reason they didn't show the mothers ability was because peter would have been able to know what it was then use it since he absorbed it long ago and it might have been able to stop the bomb. Peter should find out what his fathers abilities were also so he can use them.

if they can use 2 powers at once it severely weakens the power and like suresh said if they use to many powers at once they could become unstable and die. Ted got shot in clairs house and went nuclear, peter got choked by sylar while absorbing more of his powers and absorbing nikkis and the anger put him in a overload and he went nuclear.

Nathan's wife has an ability in season 2 since Linderman healed her a side affect is transferring some of his ability or Linderman's ability mutating with her body type and creating an all new ability of its own. Nathan's two boys will have an ability also Molly walker and Micah will fall in love. Peter will contain to much power and by exploding will make him unable to obtain new powers.

if nathan dies peter uses nikkis multiple personality abilty to bring him back into his life cause peter is scared and isnt strong enough without his brother just like nikki was when she first got jessica and Nathan's personality will make him the villain in season 2. Molly said she couldnt find the villain because he would see her maybe she was talkin about nathan? since peter absorbed nikki's power he will have his brother nathan as the 2nd personality like nikki and jessica.

These are just some ideas that i think might happen or have happened.

First). When flying above 10,000 feet youll need to start having some sort of pressurization, 15,000 feet requires suplimental oxygen, above around 20,000 the air starts to freeze, my point being for humans to fly to outter space, which is around 300,000 to 400,000 feet is quite impossible. Its hard for me to belive Nathan could fly past 20,000.

secondly). I dont think Nathans wife will get a power from Linderman geneticly altering her body when he healed her spine...

Thirdly). Peter is the empath not Nathan so how is it possible for Nathan to aquire the "inhaibt bodies" power from Jessica to inhabit Peter's body?

Yeah, sorry dude. I'm gonna have to say no to those theories.
I just can't picture any of those scenarios going over well on tv. Shows need continuity, not just random ideas made up.

One of my theories for next season will be that Peter will survive but will have something like a memory wipe and can't recall what happened in season 1 (or gets memory wiped by the hatian). The effect of this is that Peter will have to gather all his powers once again which will weaken him greatly in the beginning of season 2.

Reason why I'm considering this as a good possibility is that Peter will "forget" the nuclear power so he won't be a danger to the people around him. Another point is that Peter is getting a bit to strong at the moment, giving him a "power down" like this might prevent him from being to godly in the next season. A final reason is that this also streams with the five years in the future episode where Peter can't recall saving Clair.

All nathan has to do is travel fast enough for momentum to carry peter far enough to let him go. theres some point where nathan would have to let him go since he can't heal like claire and can't stay close to peter for to long. As some ppl have said why doesnt nathans clothes disinegrate when he flys? he may have some kind or protection why would he be able to fly but have no protection against the elements? Peter can heal when he floats back down so presure shouldnt kill him.

The linderman idea would be a cool twist :-)

Jessica may not have been special but she still ended up in nikkis personality, peter brings nathan back nathan has nothin to do with the inhabit body powers . untill we know more about jessica it could be possible

if peter gets a memory wipe he would forget how to control his powers and blowing up probably dimineshed the power of the nuclear ability or he knows how to control it now. In season 2 i think he will learn how to stop absorbing powers or will be unable to absorb since exploding and since he can explode if he uses more than one power at a time he will set off the nuke
