I've read up on a few actors and it seems that they are some are working other gigs...What if one of the brothers lands another series, and it's a hit??? Are you saying if Tucker is one of the brothers that goes somewhere else, the show will still be good?

This has been discussed before. It doesn't matter if they're working on something else right now because they won't even be filming season 2 until next year. They can work on other stuff right now and then go back to TBD when it's time. And if one of the main characters leave, I don't think it would be the same. I can't picture anyone else playing any of the characters so no I don't think it would be a good thing. lol

I think that besides the hope that someone might pick this brilliant show up, this is also the place where people share their interest in the show, whether it's on or not. It is, was, and will be an amasing project. I can see myself watching this 15 years from now and still loving it!

I would love to see HBO pick up TBD. They could take the grittiness and emotional depth of the show to whole new levels. And if they got different actors, I would still give the show a chance, but i'm sure I wouldn't be as enthused about it.

I read somewhere awhile back that Jonathan Tucker wasn't enthusiastic about doing TV when he was offered the role of Tommy. I would hope he is still interested if and when they start talking about season 2. It just wouldn't be the same!

I was thinkin that even though we pray for the show to get picked up brillant shows usually dont i mean look at arrested development when that got canceled it got bought by showtime or sumthin for 2 seasons but one of the writers didnt want to come back , so i hope if TBD get picked up dat one of the writers dont do that

I wouldn't call our efforts a waste of time but our thoughts are a little scattered here and there. I'm not sure how things work in the television industry so if someone reading does, it would be much appreciated if you'd let us know. My thoughts are that we're spinning our wheels right now with other networks. NBC definitely sold the first season to HDnet, they've added it to their schedule on their website. It would seem to me that HDnet would be who we need to bombard with our support. Here's the part I don't have a clue about. When they bought the 1st season do they "own" the show now? If they do own the rights to the whole thing then asking another network to pick it up isn't going to help us if HDnet doesn't want to sell. I'm guessing they wouldn't because they just bought it. I wasn't real happy when I saw that they were getting the first season of TBD because not everyone has it or has even heard of it. As bad as NBC was about advertising, at least it was one of the major networks so people browsed through. I would not have seen TBD if it appeared for the first time on a station like HDnet. My worry is for the second season. I don't know if they'll be able to afford one for us and I don't see another network picking TBD up from them. If something is going to happen with a second season, it needs to happen fast because the actors may get something else, if they want to come back at all, and the writers may not be interested if too much time has gone by. It's discouraging to me that HDnet seems to be our last hope for a second season. Hopefully, I'm wrong about all of this and other networks are fighting over the show and who's going to give us a second season.

I would like to hope that through OUR efforts, season 1 is being aired on a TV network which is what we all wanted in the first place...a chance for this brilliant show to shine. nbc only gave it 6 weeks. HDNet and Mark Cuban apparently think it has potential. They know what WE know. They are going to give us the entire season. This is the chance we have been begging for....to just give it a chance. I'm sorry many of you don't have this channel but you have already seen season 1 on your computer. A lot of people haven't (believe it or not not everyone has high speed internet access) and will now get to see it on TV again. This is a good thing. Spread the word about it and buy copies of the DVD when it comes out and give them to your friends.

From what I understand HDNet doesn't own the show they only bought "rights" from NBC to air the first season,(correct me if I'm wrong) a much smaller cost. I don't think HDNet can afford to buy the show, that's why we are bombarding other networks. We do have a chance. Another network can still buy the show and we will gain fans this summer.

my thoughts are . . . the more it can be seen and heard about the better chances we have for a season 2. so if hdnet can get more buzz for us the BETTER!

Yea I remember reading that too somewhere but i think hed come back. he enjoys playing characters that are different than he is in real life. I would assume he had a good time with this series and would come back (i hope).
And I dont think our effors are a waste of time. Its not hurting anyone that we are fighting for this show so I say we keep doing it until we know for sure what the future is for TBD. I mean our efforts did get noticed by HDNET. Mark Cuban even said he's been paying attention to the fan base of this show so it shows that we are making at least a small impact and people are noticing. Even the little things we do like change our myspace background to TBD helps because it sparks interest in the show. People could ask "hey whats your background? what show is that?" lol....i know its lame but its true. Things dont happen over night, we need to be patient and give it time.

Well I guess we will see if airing season 1 in its entirety this summer will make the difference. Other networks and viewers will have the opportunity to see it. We need this, guys. I think Mark Cuban has the resources to make it happen. Besides, the summer is usually all repeats. FX starts alot of their series in the summer, though. I'm hoping shows like Rescue Me won't impact TBD. The Shield is finishing up. The Riches is finishing up. Also people don't want to see repeats of the same old stuff they watched all winter. I believe we have a good chance for season 2 and I won't give up or be negative in any way. Let's try to be positive, OK?

That makes me feel much better. I really have no clue how those things work but what you wrote makes sense. So technically, NBC still owns the show and could, if they wanted to, air the first season too or sell the whole thing to another network? I've still been sending my letters and participating in whatever you guys decide to do next, I just wasn't fully understanding who actually owned the show. I just assumed that it was HDnet. Don't get my comments above wrong, I'm happy to get to see it on TV but my ultimate goal is a second season which I know is everyone elses as well. I didn't mean to sound negative, but I did want to express my concerns and get some feedback from those of you who know how this kind of stuff works.

I dont think we are wasting our time expressing our desire to have TBD continue on. It is my hope that Paul Haggis, Bobby Moresco and some of the cast members are reading our fascination, attachment to the show.
Like many of you, I will be very happy if I could see a continuation of Season 1, either through a 2nd season or a book or even a full-length movie. A full length movie can be financially more difficult to the producers but this may require less time commitment from the actors of the show who understandably have to move on to new projects.

I didn't think you were being negative. Everyone right now is trying to be sensible I think.
I'm not even
sure if what I said is exactly right but that's the impression I got from what has been said about all this. I am sure though that another network
can pick up the show if they believe the fan base is big enough.
