No appropriate forum for this topic, so this seemed like a good place to start. Mods, pls remember that NBC IS airing the finals in primetime.

Is anyone else looking forward towatching the NHL Finals on NBC? I am, as it reminds me of the old days when the World Series, Super Bowl, & NBA Finals were all on NBC. Good times in the 90's.

I see from the home page schedule that someone at NBC seems a bit optimstic about Ottawa's chance for a comeback. Anaheim is already up 2-0, meaning that only Saturday's & Monday's games are certain to be played. Next Wednesday is still an "if necessary" game, so we will not even know until Monday evening for sure (maybe sooner) NBC will need to re-program that night.

Well, we found out on Saturday that the series is going 5 games, so NBC was right on about Wedensday. Apparently, they expect Anahiem to wrap things up, b/c they do not list the NHL finals at all for Sat or Mon, the potential dates for games 6 & 7.

Great interview during the second intermission last night. Any one else see it?
