A LOS ANGELES PRODUCTION COMPANY WILL BEGIN FILMING A PILOT FOR A NEW NBC REALITY TELEVISION MONDAY IN WESTERN MICHIGAN, LOCAL 4 REPORTED.

REVELLE STUDIOS IS THE COMPANY BEHIND HIT SHOWS LIKE "UGLY BETTY," "THE OFFICE" AND THE "BIGGEST LOOSER."

ITS NEW REALITY SHOW IS TITLED "WELCOME TO THE FAMILY" AND REVOLVES AROUND NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES FROM DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS.

THEY MEET THEIR FUTURE IN-LAWS FOR THE FIRST TIME ON CAMERA.

FILMING STARTS IN GRAND RAPIDS, NORTON SHORES, MUSKEGON AND HOLLAND AND RUNS THROUGH JUNE 10.

How much more reality shows are coming. I am from Sterling Heights, MI, approx 3 hours east of the new future reality show.

Why do they feel it is entertainment to watch crap like this?

I'm tired of reality shows. I'm tired of game shows. I want quality TV programs, like "Crossing Jordan." NBC doesn't know what it lost when it canceled CJ. I have not not watched a single minute of NBC since the finale of CJ aired, and I'm not missing it. Well, I miss CJ a lot, but I don't miss NBC. I'm still sad this wonderful show was canceled after being treated so horribly by the network. That's the "Nothing But Crap" network for you...reality and game shows...nothing but crap.

Sounds completly stupid... and I too haven't watched any NBC since Crossing Jordan ended.... I used to wath L&O SVU and sometimes ER, but havent seen a second of NBC since CJ ended.... I miss SVU but I like making my point

I know... I guess they think that ppl will just watch anything that's on tv these days, which if it is true, is just DOWNRIGHT sad .
