^^No, it happened two days after the wedding. I'm pretty sure the married chick saw her at the house in regular clothes before the wedding and then all dressed up. And that makes it worse because they seemed to have a good time together at the wedding and then two days later he acts like a dick.

This really has nothing to do with your story Wedd, but it reminded me of something. It's very hurtful when people don't or won't introduce you properly. My husband is terrible at this...we used to have a lot of social things to attend and we'd be standing in a circle talking with people I didn't know, and he would never introduce me. I just started introducing myself, and people would say, "You're Colonel ******'s wife? I didn't know..." Yeah, nobody knew who I was!!

And another time I went to Canada by myself to visit my mother in law. We were out having lunch and a few of her friends stopped by the table to say hi and she introduced me as her "friend from Detroit." I was shocked. I said, "Actually, I'm married to her son." She was a mean old lady.

MrOH always did this and still does it if we run into people somewhere that he knows from work. He will talk to them and here I am left hanging like a piece of toilet paper on the bottom of his shoe. A few times the person will look over at me and introduce themselves to me! And that didnt bother MrOH at all.

^^You are totally right! I hate that! Along the same lines, every year Tom's company has a Christmas party--the company is like 600+ and they all bring dates. I never remember anyone's name. We all know how jealous I am, and his company is 90% women. Anyway, so at the last party he introduces me and this blonde chick says, "Oh my God--I didn't know you were married!" This is four years into our marriage. I always try to behave at these parties, but the blood started rising and I was like, "What? Why didn't she know you were married? Don't you have our wedding pictures up?" and she was like, oh, we're on different floors and Tom was like, we don't really talk. I was SO angry!!!

The next day, he went to work and told her she got him in trouble.

And your mother-in-law? What a b1tch! They think they are so clever with the wording like the dumb daughter in law's can't figure it out. I will never forget, MOY "allegedly" was attacked when she was with Jay when he was 17 months old. This when we were all trying to get along and right after we got married. No one believed her story because it didn't match up. She said someone attacked her for her cell phone while she was walking down the street, meanwhile, there was a huge rainstorm at the time--we all knew that FOY had hit her. Anyway, so Tom went to the hospital to meet her and interrogate her and I was left with my b1tch MIL and cancer girl and my MIL looked at me and said, "Your husband better not give her a hard time".

Not Tom, not my son, not her brother. No, because he was daring to confront MOY, he became my husband. That was the turning point right there, when she disowned him like that. And believe me, I told him. And I also replied "I hope he does, because she's lying and she deserves it".

peter talked to me last night. We had this great long talk and basically he isn't mad at me but he said still said that there are some things that he needs to go over but we're talking. I can understand his side of it. It might not make any sense right now, but he doesn't want to be burned and I don't either. I'm just happy with things right now.

My friend who made out with that guy who is borrowing money off of her, well she's getting really possesive over him. She asked me last night what if he's with another girl? I told her, honestly you aren't a couple so you can't be mad. She got miffed but I think we know why he made out with her really. This is not the basis of a realtionship.

I had another real late talk with pete through texting. And He wants to go forward with things and asked me if we can work on a serious relationship. I said of course we can. He then asked me to not only move in with him, but marry him. But I think that second part might be the result of him being with his friend celebrating the annoucement of his friends first child on the way with many beers. We've both not mentioned the proposal today. Proberly better that way

You all know I've been through a bunch in the past few months and I not only need time to heal from everything, but I also am still unhappy with myself. My resolution for this year was to be happy with myself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. While I feel I have made significant strides...I am still not there.


I figured 5 months would be enough to lose the weight (30 more lbs to go), get in gear spiritually...and emotionally will fix itself after those other two.

Wish me luck and please help me stay on track! No more losers or settling for less than I want.

Apparently, Tom thinks he is single again. He took off today to go to a golf outing with a friend. At 8:00 am they were at the VFW post drinking. He came home at 4:00, took a shower, and has been sleeping ever since. I don't mind the quiet, I just think it is really stupid and irresponsible. I hate when he acts like that--it's not often, but it just annoys me.

If I was a social drinker it would be different, but since I don't see the appeal, we have different views. And yes, I know I said in Venting that we were going out Friday night--every year they have a summer birthday party for everyone who is born in the summer and I have not been out in over a year, but after about three drinks I will be ready to go home.

Times like these are when I feel single but I'm not.
