Becca, I'm glad it seems like he may have believed you. Stick with that. But I don't agree with you apologizing. even if you did some mean stuff (and we all do) he has done far worse to you.
BlueJeanBaby05
Feb 5 2009, 09:24 AM
Yeah, but I think apologizing is more of a good step for her. He may not deserve it, but her apologizing is like another step in moving on. It's almost like forgiveness (if not, it's at least forgiving herself). Or it's more like letting go of the past.

I disagree. It shows maturity to be civil in this situation. Consider Pam and Roy in

I see your points. I just think he should apologize first. After she apologized, did he? No, he said she didn't do anything wrong, but he never said that he did.
BlueJeanBaby05
Feb 5 2009, 10:47 AM
True, and it sucks. He should apologize. But, it's not about him anymore. It's about her and she just needs to do what is going to make her feel better. She can't sit around waiting for him to apologize. It may never come.
And imo, in a weird and twisted way, by Becca apologizing without the need to hear it from him first, it is kinda like a kick in the crotch to him anyway. It says, "I'm mature enough and big enough that I can move on regardless of what you do for me. So pfffft.

"

Becca, sorry we're kinda talking about this without you.)

Becca apologizing was a nice thing to do and it speaks volumes about her character. However, at some point it has to stop or people will take advantage of her. She can't always be the person apologizing and mending fences.

At the same time, I'm getting a feeling of slight satisfaction because it feels like I have the upper hand. For once, I'm in control & he's learning how I felt. Yet at the same time, I feel disgusted with my behaviour. I would always b*tch about him playing games & now, I'm the one playing games by messing with his mind. I'm becoming someone who I don't wanna be, a hypocrite. I dunno, I guess I wanna play hard to get without being cruel. At this moment, I feel like I don't even know who I am. One minute I feel like I'm over him cause he leaves me alone & the next minute, he calls me & whatever feelings I have stored in my heart come rushing out. Things cannot be simple with him. *sigh*

Wow PiP! That was really big of you to admit that you're playing games with him. That has to be really hard for you since you haven't sorted out how you feel about him yet.

And yes, it's been a constant challenge. Part of me wants to return his call & be like OMG I missed you soooo much!!! Than again, I have a feeling he wants me to do that. He wants me to fall back into his lap & act all giddy, like nothing happened. But that's not gonna happen. I'm going to play it cool & contact him when I feel the timing is right. But at the same time, it's killing me because like you said, I have not sorted out how I feel about him. What if I continue to do this & he moves on in the process because he possibly likes me this time around. I would use the word lose, but how can I lose something I never had? I have a feeling he would not wait because there are many other girls who like him.
I don't think I've ever had this problem with a guy before. Usually when I like them, they like me so there are no complications. But with Mikey, it's a whole other story.

why did I say I'm sorry. Cause I've told him that this what ever we are, what ever we are doing can't go on. And I cried while I said it cause it was real for me. I know that the end the real true end is so close. you can feel a natural progression when something has ran it's course and this has. I cried cause I was sad, mad and lonely all this time. I was sorry cause I entered into a relationship he would have never started in the first place . I was sorry that I when I told him to leave that very first time he couldn't cause we already grown attached. i was sorry for being mean, spiteful, demanding for projecting things on him when I knew he couldn't do it. I was sorry that we both have gotten our hearts broken and sorry we both love each other still. I won't be mending any more fences.

Thanks for the welcome, a ripe old 41, just turned in january. Is it sanitary to use someone else's nose hair trimmer? Or how about finger nail clippers for that matter? How long would my nose hair have to be before a woman would not date me? Is that a mustache kind of length or something longer than that ?
