I had to tape it so I haven't watched the whole show yet, but which acts made it through and what did you think of them? I'm not really interested in what the judges thought of the acts, what did you think of the ones that got through?

I like the ones that got through.

I personally liked The Duttons' (The country band family) and The Rascals' (The three young soul singers.)

There was a dancing saxophone player, a father/son equilibrium act and and two singing trios that were up to standards, but most of the acts that got through were total crap. I thought Brandy was a horrible judge, but Sharon is ten times worse. At one point she got up and stormed off the stage because Piers was critical of a nine-year-old gymnastics act.

There were only two acts that I think did deserve to go through but didn't. One was a dog act where a guy brought around ten dogs but only one of them actually did any tricks (I think they should have just said to come back with just the one). The other was an aerialist that was very impressive, and extremely bold, but was evidently nervous and unprepared. . . Although I guess in all fairness, the guy did a lot of tricks where he could have easily fallen right on his head and snapped his neck if he mistimed it, so if there's any act where you expect the performer to be flawless, it's something like that.
