I can not believe that this show made it to the air. I am going to finish watching tonight becuase I want to see Sharon rip Piers to pieces. I don't care one way or the other for Hasselhoff but I do agree with him. You CAN be nice and still turn people down. I agree with the fact that most of them should not have gone on, but say it nice. Does it make him feel good about himself that he can belittle a child on national TV? What a nice guy. I will NOT be watching this show this year. Jerry Springer was a poor choice, but even he is not cruel. The audience should not be allowed to boo, that is just plain rude. Learn how to say no NICELY. I also agree that there should be a age limit, children should not be going against adults. NBC owes those children an apology. You have lost a viewer.

This show should not see the light of day, this show is absolutely dreadful! The show needs to be cancelled, at all costs.

I'm with you. I think I just saw TV hit a new low. I don't know why I'm even still watching, actually--I guess I'm still hoping Sharon will punch Piers' lights out. The audience is obnoxious, and Piers is worse. Come on. None of the kids they turned down were good enough to make the second round, but this guy has revealed himself as a mean-spirited bully. The way he treated those kids, who were trying their best, is just cruel.

I wanted to turn it off, but I was so sick to my stomache I had to keep watching in hopes that some of the other adults would stand up to Piers. I'm so glad Sharon and Jerry did what they did, but to be that cruel to those children is unforgivable.
What Piers said could be life changing for those kids. Maybe one of them will take a long time to get over it. You don't mess with someone's spirit, especially a 7 or 9 year old.
This show is now unwatchable to me. I liked it last year but not now.
