First off I have to say that I've written this twice already. I'm having trouble posting for some reason. So I'll try 1 last time to remember what I had written. I was completely shocked at how rude and apparently unaware that Piers is when it comes to America's problems and benefits about our Nation's plight with" Man's Best Friend," also the rest of our two and four-legged friends. I would like to applaud the gentleman that came out with all the dogs. I thought that Piers made a fool of himself when he made the remark to the guy that he should keep two of his dogs and take all the rest back to the pound. As an animal lover myself it struck me that either he has a VERY LOW IQ and/or he is just as cruel as he seems to be, or possibly it isn't only that. Maybe he has some serious mental issues that he needs help with?! Of course, I don't know, I don't even know him. But regardless, where would America and its' citizens be without all of our Loyal, Unconditional Loving, Hard-Working Friends be? Our pets DO NOT even expect our Love, let alone anything as huge as Loyalty! I am sure that I am just one of the hundred thousands of people that feel the same way as I do. If you are one of them I'd love to hear your comment! I can be reached at ttntcherokee@aol.com ~ LET US STAND UP FOR OUR RIGHTS AND SAY HOW WE FEEL ON THIS SUBJECT!!!
Thanks So Much For Taking The Time To Read This Post!!!
I partially agree, and I partially disagree. Piers should have just worded it differently, since what I got out of the act, while it was entertaining, they only had two dogs do stuff, while all the other dogs just seemed to be running around aimlessly. They should have planned it a lot better, and had each of the dogs do something so that it didn't seem that only the two were talented. I think that is what Piers was trying to get at, and if so, he should have worded it like that, instead of how he did.

Thank you for your reply and I'd like to say that that didn't really occur to me. I do agree with you on the fact that only 2 of the dogs were doing anything but as you know that wasn't my point. But what you just said would make sense. Maybe it's like you are guessing and he chose the wrong words but then that brings up a whole new issue...maybe he needs to be replaced with someone more familiar with those type of acts like someone else has already posted. They think that there should be someone who is aware of entertainers that are more along the lines of being circus/gymnastics type of performers. Also, I'd like to say that I actually agreed that the guy with the dogs wasn't great and he would have probably done much better with only the 2 dogs. But, I thought that Piers was pretty rude throughout almost the entire show. But then again I missed some of the show, but I can't imagine that he was much different.

My guess was that he was just trying to be funny but it kinda backfired. The comment was insulting to dogs and to dog owners (and in this case, dog rescuers).
