Yes we are litlle bit racist, becourse here is not many black or asian people. ( i was something about 14 [now im 16] when i saw first black that wasnt in TV)

FYI, we only have a 3-7 month long Winter, depending on how you look at it. I've always thought it begins in November and ends somewhere in March.

I just watched that episode. There was text 'Perkele from Finland' in that postcard. So it was bit funny, because when you americans say 'oh [censored]', we say 'perkele'.

Hello everyone.. I just saw the show where some finn sent a postcard to conie.. and laughed my [censored] off. cause I'm a finn and understood what the card was about. nice one whoever sent it.. made me want to write to conan, although he's a complete tool.

That eurocoin thing that started it wasn't as funny as this new section where they insult every country. conehead really thinks all those countries have euros.. haha.

I laughed my [censored] off, when I saw the postcard. On the back of it it said "Perkele from Finland". Perkele means satan or the devil in finnish.

I think I'll send him a postcard of my own now. I just need to find a card that is meaningless enough.

I'm from Finland too but I didn't sent the postcard. It was an ad for 'Nokia Hakkapeliitta' tires.

I will explain a few things about Finland to you.
1. The winter starts in the southern Finland in November (snow starts falling) and usually ends in April (it gets warmer and snow starts meltin),(the winter in Lapland is longer and colder).The summer starts in the end of may and chances to autumn somewhere in the middle of september.
2.Finnish people don?t talk too much.They say what they want to say and that?s it, butt here is allways exeptions (can?t write it right).
3.That is and isn?t true.
4.Racist! No way! I have never encountered a Finnish people who is a racist.

More from the winter summer thing.I personally think that the Finnish summer is the best in the world.I?ve been in Thailand, many islands in the Mediterranean sea (I know that I didn?t write that right), Hawaii, many Caribbean islands (including Jamaica and Barbados) and many more (I?m only 13 years old) and I still think that Finlands summer is the best in the world.

I always wonder who did send that card, bit i didn't like that.

Why did he had (who ever he or she was ) but the word Perkele means Damn! or more likely F**** But the card pic was lame.

I just gotta tell you guys that finnish people have very sarkastic sence of humour so dont take this treath seriously. And out winter ain`t 10 months long. It`s hardly 8 months and because of that we gotta drink as much of alcohol as possible in summertime. In wintertime we are just depressed. It was hilarious to see that postcard on TV last night when that episode of Conan was shown here in Finland. Nokian Renkaat got a free commercial there for their tyres and on the other side was written possibly the most used swear word here...

Who could take him seriously??? The show is great and it's a pity I missed this particular show (broadcasted May 31th in Finland). He has mentioned Finland earlier too though

Didn?t the whole thing start from a letter from Ukraine? It was about the new (false) euro coins? Someone ukrainian was upset about the new coin Conan presented?

I have only one question:
Why was there coins from non-EU countries? Was it intentional? For example Ukraine is NOT in the EU, and I think that it won?t be any time soon.

I?m not the guy who sent the card, but I can tell what it said. "Perkele!-from Finland" freely translated is "[censored]! from Finland".

I found the card somewhat amusing as a Finn. Many of us are sensitive about what foreigners think of our nation and sometimes it goes too far. Like in the case of this card. Sender didn?t even wait for Finlands turn.

The reason that the guy who sent the tire-ad card was so anxious must be that we see Conie episodes about a week after they are shown in the U.S. and I guess he just didn't want to be late. However, not everyone gets his card shown in the show... So hooray for that. But I pity u foreigners who didn't undestand the short but very beautiful Finnish message in the card.......
