As Pierce said....Brilliant. 'Nothin But A Hound Dog was so much fun. As soon as they were finished my daughter said she wished they could sing another song. Guess we will have to wait until the Vegas show because tht is where they are headed. Definitely a new fan of theirs!!!

I didn't like what they did with the song, but they were really good. I'm glad they went on.

They were good, but they need to find there own image. They looked like a mix between 30 Seconds to Mars and Panic! at the Disco.

Did anyone notice the song speeding up the whole time. I thought that they were going to take off the ground. But for 15 years old or 16 years old, very good..

First of all, it's Jonny Come lately, not Johnny. And I love these kids. They are amazing for their age, and they have a lot of roots and dedication to true rockabilly. That's not something you see in teenagers, or anyone, really. If nothing else, you have to admire tham for that reason.
But yes, they do have a few technical things that need to be worked on, specifically tempo. But you really have to admire these four for their raw talent and dedication.

They are fantastic - great energy, wonderful talent...I want to see them perform live, and I hope they stick together and go far so I'll get that opportunity.

These 15 year olds were quite impressive. They looked great. Sounded great. Finally a real group with talent, uniqueness and charisma. I can't wait to see what they do in Vegas.

I think this kids are great with a lot of carissma.
I wish will be more kind of young bands like this more traditional rock and not more
rappers that we have a lot of them and most of the time they rap trash.
We love this kids way to go Johnny Come Lately.

Yes I agree. I admire THAM myself. They have picked a genre that is often overlooked. Perhaps some stray cats next time?

I completely agree about rockabilly often being overlooked, though I am a big fan of it myself. If it's Stray Cats you want, look them up on YouTube. There's a video of them performing "Stray Cat Strut." Pretty excellent.

The frantic, turbo charged tempo of their arrangements is annoying to me. Hound dog should be at a tempo of 98 not 980. I wish they would slow it down. I suspect playing and singing so fast is a ploy to conceal the fact that they are not very technically adept musicians. I think they get by with 7 basic guitar chords, and the drummer is atrocious. High school celebrities I'm sure, but beyond their home town and their parents garage, I doubt we'll be hearing anything further from JCL.
