I know the guy was sweet and had a great story... but that doesn't mean he was a great talent.

The problem is, he won't make it to the finals so it's just delaying the inevitable.

i know he went through but i just think sharon and piers still shouldn't have X-ed him because I thought he had amazing talent and i do hope he makes it to the finals

It's unfortunate that the classical voice is not appreciated as much today as it was in generations past, as is evident by some posts in this thread and also in Sharon Osborn's comments.

His singing wasn't one million dollar talent. It was average singing which is why he was close to not making it to the next round.

Aww... I wish you could hear it in real life. Maybe that's what's missing.

Pretty much what judging is all about, if the judge doesn't like the performance for whatever reason they vote against it. Are you expecting them to give a pass to all acts because someone out there liked it?

Oh sorry, I don't think I was clear in my reasons for why he will not make it to the final. I'm not sure if you saw last years show or not, if you haven't I can understand the confusion, if you have then I appreciate your constant optimism... but the reality of AGT that should be clear to anyone right now is that you can basically tell exactly what act they will make sure does not win (talent aside) and unfortunately for this particular act, he will be on the chopping block. The only reason why he isn't now is because of his story.

Let me make it clear, it's not that I think he's a horrible singler or that he is talentless, I just have been able to read the mood of this show ever since it first came out (for those of you who remember my predictions last year, you know this to be the truth). So I can tell you, he won't make it to the finals.

I know that makes me sound negative... but I guess I'm just a pragmatist.
