Very interesting...maybe the network is expressing interest in Kidnapped again because Jeremy Sisto is joining the cast of 'Law and Order.' I wish he was playing the Knapp character on L&O, hopefully it will be some form of that character...NBC may realize after their other shows have tanked that they missed out on a good one.
Anyone notice the Kidnapped rip offs on other shows? ABC's new show is using the same segment ending as Kidnapped, with a montage of highlights set to very similiar music, also similiar music throughout and direction and pacing. Imitation, a compliment? Still stinks to cannibalize the show. Too bad ABC didn't just pick it up. Boo, still annoyed with critics that did not do their jobs, watch the show and write about it (Barney Etc
- you are paid to watch TV after all - ALL TV, not just the stuff you like. I'm tried of critics who can't write themselves trashing shows as a vehicle to be 'self-amusing' - not good enough - we're ALL amusing - what we need from newspaper critics is thoughtfulness and support of creative writers and directors from critics who watch all the shows and can comment knowledgably about all aspects of the way they are put together).
