I have been debating on whether I should start this topic. I don't like to put down anyone because on the IMDB website, you can get some horrible and nasty replies and it seems that we all think alike on this website. So I decided to go ahead and see what other's are thinking about this questionable move. I have no intention's of watching 'CARPOOLERS' (ABC), but today I was very curious on what other's are saying about it, so I went onto IMDB. Lets just say it is not getting any good reviews.

What was Jerry thinking when he signed on to do the pilot. He was so good in CJ and to stoop this low for a comedy that does not even sound funny. Unless, something else comes along, I think that CJ is his best work to date. When he was younger it was 'STAND BY ME' and 'MY SECRET IDENTITY.' Oh yeah and another that not to many have seen is 'OLLIE HOPNOODLES HAVEN OF BLISS.' His movies have not been blockbuster hits.

I know CARPOOLERS has not even started yet, but it sounds so painful to even watch.

What does everyone else think or am I just comparing to the excellent work Jerry did on CJ?

I think he's got such excellent potential, but the roles he accepts are not the best (Kangaroo Jack, anyone?). I'd love to see him in a dramatic role (perhaps one that's even more serious than the role of Woody. I didn't care for the preview of Carpoolers. How many times can you watch a group of guys commute? And it sounds like a chick flick with guys in it. It's on at 8:30 on Tuesdays, correct? If it makes it through the fall, it will have to contend with American Idol in the spring. You know, that could be 2 CJ actors' fates. Miguel's show is on Wednesday at 9. Again. I'm not sure either of those shows will make it to the point where they'll have to worry about AI.

I know what you mean I saw a preview for this show and I've gotta say, even though I LOVE Jerry O'connell I don't think I can watch this show... It just seems so beneath him... especially after a role like Woody Hoyt..... I mean come one....

I'm really going to feel bad for him and Miguel if both of them have 2 shows canceled in one calendar year.

I will feel bad for them as well.. But it is inevetable one or both of their shows will be cancelled before the end of the year.
