if they keep chnaging the show yes they should fire it.
If they can go back to the orginal NYC format, more business task scence and get serious cadidates, not actors or hand picked people then keep the show. It was greatthe first few seasons.

I thought it was already decided that there was no more apprentice. Trump did an interview where he said he was going to do a different show...on his own.

Yes, I think it has run it's course.

Now if NBC would only bring back some of the good shows they've cancelled we all won't miss The Apprentice.

This last season of the apprentice was terrible. I loved the first couple of seasons. I did see a commercial yestereday for a new Trump show starting soon--not at all the apprentice.
sexy_dude
there may not be another season of apprentice

NBC executives were non-committal however when asked about The Apprentice not willing to rule out a last minute scheduling for the show.
sexy_dude

Well for one, I never believe what I read from just anyone's "blog" page and second here's the real story that it is getting renewed for at least 2 more years. cool.gif

After the thent city debacle, this show should be banned for any new seasons.

I read the article you posted and it seemed in one breath they were renewing for 2 years and in the next breath they would be announcing whether or not they would renew. I am confused..... Do you know for sure if it will be on this season? Thanks so much!

Well, we'll have to wait and see, the last thing that was said was:

“Donald still wants to do the show. (Executive producer) Mark (Burnett) wants to do the show,” said NBC Entertainment President Kevin Reilly. “ We couldn’t find the right spot for it. So we’re going to regroup after everybody announces their schedule. We’re going to look at everything in context and then make a decision about it.”

I want the Apprentice back. I like it and it keeps me from watching other more boring shows with regular actors in it, lol.

This season lacked the excitement of the others. I think that the energy has run out. It's become cold and icy as of late. Plus Donald Trump has too many properties and real estate that he's developing, so why is he doing this TV show? He's planning on opening a Trump Towers in Atlanta, which sounds exciting. It gets it out of that New York and New Jersey mode where his brand is more famous in that area. But back to this show, the season finale was quite good, a more intimate setting in the Hollywood Bowl than a cramped up studio.

Yes, keep the show. I heard that Trumps daughter was going to host the show this time, that might be a nice change. Then we won't feel like someone is yelling all the time(that is what it was like with Trump, maybe he needs to learn to project his voice better).

I'm up for more seasons of The Apprentice. Bring them on!

No, NBC should not fire the Apprentice. I do agree with some of the other posters about the format though. The first couple of years were great. I did not like this year's tent city vs. mansion idea.
Queen_Ivy
This shows awful. AXE IT.

Yes. The show has gone downhill since the second season when he fired Kevin and Katherine (those were the two, right?) so Kelly Pardue could have a villain to contend with. The honest impression I'm getting is that Trump thinks he can do whatever he wants and it will still be gold just because he's Trump.

The whole purpose of this show at this point is, I believe, to booster Trump's ego; the show was an absolute disaster last season, be he enjoys telling everyone that he's the host of a hit reality show among everything else he's done. He's sort of like Paris Hilton on that he squanders a lot of the money he makes trying to parade himself around as a celebrity (that whole Guest Banker thing on Deal or No Deal really got under my skin). NBC really owes it to their viewers to make sure he doesn't appear anywhere on their network ever again, or at least until 2010. He'll be more likable if he isn't so full of himself the next time we see him, and for that to happen, he needs to recognize that "Trump" does not spell "success."

It is unfortunate that a great idea like the apprentice has lost all credibility. Many of the die hard fans are disappointed that the show will not continue in its "original" format. No, not the lame tent idea! I mean when the show first came on the air and the contestants were in it for the opportunity not "five minutes of fame!"
Why not give someone else the opportunity to do the show and give Donald a break for a while? If the show then sinks....well then... so be it!
But to kill off a great idea just because Don wasn't able to keep the momentum going is pretty dumb to me!
If the producers are to blame for the ridiculous season 6 format, then burnett should "retire" as well!! Enough said... and as for where all the back info is...why don't the site managers reply???
This particular site wants to know all about "us"...so why don't we get the same info in return???
I think that the policies of a site should be fair to both the user and the "maker"!
I guess I'm just an old-fashioned techie geek when it comes to some of the new
site rules!!
