Introduction:
In the lurky dark side at Seaport Alley of Harmony, Maine. A Mystery man was walking looking for someone to prey to release the pain and struggles he has been going through all his. While this was walking into this darken there seen young beautiful woman standing at wharf which reminding of someone from his past and he knew this was the woman he was searching for as he stood there just watching her he also listen as this woman was talking to her revealing her innermost secrete and lies that she has been hiding. As The man heard every secrete he knew this woman was powerful and he knew she had a lot to lose if these secretes came out so could used this to advantage and using this for payback for hurting him so many years. The mystery man was just about to leave when he turned he seen that another man was behind watching him then in his husky voice the mystery man said
"What are you starring at?"
The other man said "Well maybe I should be asking that question why were starring at my wife for."
The mystery man "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean too it was just she reminded me of someone and just couldn't be help but watch."
"Keep to your eyes to yourself buddy, do you have any idea who were you starring at?'
"Tell me who"
"Theresa Lopez Fitzgerald Crane Casey the most powerful woman in the world" Mr. Casey said
" Well I guest you must be Mr. Casey then?" The mystery man said
Mr. Casey said "Yes I am and who do you might just be."
With the most evil laugh the mystery man walked passed came up came up behind him holding his mouth shut the mystery man taken out stabbing Mr. Casey before had gotten the scream and as Mr. Casey laid bleeding to death the mystery kneeled next time while cleaning he said
"I am the man who is going to make your wife a living a ****"
After cleaning his knife the mystery man looked Theresa just standing there crying he laughed as he took her dead husband body away to get dispose of.
6 months Later
At the FBI office in Washington DC . 32 year old Agent Seeley Booth "Booth" was in his office doing some paper work after solving a murder in Seattle, but what he didn't know was his partner of 2 years, 30 year old woman Dr. Temperance Brennan "Bones" a anthropologist at the Jefferson's institute. She entered into her partner's office with another big case for them to solve.
Temperance said "Hey Booth"
Agent Seeley replied " Bones, don't you knock how to knock
"Sorry, booth but hey listen we got another case to solve here" Bones said as she slammed the file on in front Booth's paperwork. Booth moved the file aside as he kept working on paperwork booth yelled
" Bones, I am doing paper work and anyways how did you get this file. I thought I always get the files on every case."
Bones said as sat down a chair " It is wasn't my fault I just came see you wanted to take a break get some lunch with me then I ran into your boss told me that we have another case to work on and that we should look over this file together and work on the case right away."
Booth wondered "hmm, Then I guess that means I can put off this paperwork and look over this file while we have lunch what do you say Bones"
" I think that is the most single great idea you had all day. So lets go I am hungry."
Booth got as he grabbed which Bones and Booth left the office to go the case.
Chapter 1:
Life is not a Fairytale nor a Soap Opera
A few miles away from the FBI office Bones and Booth were at this local diner they always go to called "Benny's". Booth ordered his usual cheeseburger with cheese fries and coke while Bones ordered her usual Chicken finger with regular fries and coke. After the they ordered Booth said
"So let me get this straight in Harmony, Maine a local fisherman heads out the beach to go on a fishing trip then suddenly after a tide comes which washes up a decompose body and the Harmony police believe that it is the body of young rich man named Jared Casey 28 years old who is married woman named Theresa and has one stepson named Little Ethan, and has been missing for 6 months I am good so far Bones"

[size="4"]" Good so far Booth and as I looked at these of decomposed body it does in deed looked like a male in his late 20's"
As they got the food and started eat bits and pieces of their meals Booth asked " What about cause of Death?" as his with his mouth of meat.
Bones with the look of disgust "Bones finished eating before you speak."
Booth swallowed his bit as he wipe his mouth with napkin and said " Sorry"
"Its okay just remember next time and as for cause of death maybe drowning." while eating some of her french she took more closer look of one photos and that is she found something that caught her said "Hold on"
"What found something Bones" Booth asked
"Sure did take a look at this photo" Bones replied as she handed him the photo which they ended up touching their hands then ended up holding them.
As they were holding hands something spark between them but the spark was short lived as Booth let go and took a look at the picture not sure what he was looking for he asked Bones " Okay what I am looking for here."
Bones pointed to the upper torso as she said "The upper torso there is a slit there "
"Meaning" Booth not following Bones
"Meaning this man was stabbed before he in the water maybe was stabbed to death then somebody dumped this body into the ocean feeding him to the sharks." Bones told Booth just he took another bit of burger then said
" Bones I am eating here "
"Sorry Booth" as she took a sip of her coke
Booth said after taken a sip of coke " So looks like we got a murder in midst at Harmony, Maine'
"Yup" Bones as ate some her chicken fingers and fries
Then Booth said " It is a shame a town like Harmony, a place that suppose so peaceful and safe is now dangerous now they have a killer on the loose that could might strike again."
Bones replied "Yeah but I this killer is not going to strike again and do you why? Booth"
"No why?" He asked
"Because we going to catch him or her and make sure that he strike again in any town like Harmony ever again. And Anyways no town or city nor is safe Booth life not a fairytale" She answered
Booth smile as he said "You're right about that at least Okay now suspects
Bones shocked "Suspects, Booth we are even there yet and want to go over a list of suspects."
" Yes, now in the file does it say who Jared was last seen with." Booth asked
"Hold on let me check me" Bones replied as looked at the police report which does mention it and Bones tells Booth " Yeah the police report says Mr. Casey was last seen at his home with his wife Theresa and her Lawyer Ethan Winthrop."
Booth clapped his hands as already came with this notion " Alright, Bones listen up because this what I think." bones not pay attention which Booth notice "Bones are listening"
"Yes go on" Bones said as she listening to Booth's theory
Booth told Bones " I think that Jared's wife and her lawyer Ethan Winthrop were having a affair Jared found out about they all in fight he ended up stabbed and killed then they both threw him into the ocean. What do you think."
After Booth gave theory Temperance couldn't help but and Booth was getting annoyed already as he said " What is so funny?"
"You are Booth"
"Well thank you I am glad I can amused now what is so funny about my theory"
Bones said "It is too cache and you remember when I say the life is not fairytale."
Booth answered "Yes"
"Well guess what this is not soap opera not every case we deal has some twist to it.' Bones told Booth
" Okay even you think Miss Temperance"
" Right nothing unlike you make crazy theories like secrete I wait until I get all the facts then I make obseverations you should try sometime Booth."
Booth replied " Now you the see you what can get kind of guy and what I see is another classic affair killing just the one in Seattle. "
Bones laughed as she said "Come on now Booth not cases are the same you know that."
" Yeah , Alright fine I get not all cases are not the same life is not a fairytale nor soap opera now please enough of the lectures." Booth asked
" Okay I will stop, just promise next time don't make anymore crazy theories til we get all the facts." As Bones said while finishing her meal.
Booth replied after finishing his meal "Alright, but my money is still on the wife and lawyer,"
Bones just that when she I had thought to see where to put his money is as bones asked" Do you care to wager? Booth"
Booth surprise but yet curious of what Bones said "You a mean a bet."
"That is exactly what Mean."
Booth said as he was getting out his wallet "Okay how much"
Bones laughed "Booth put your wallet away I don't want your money."
"Then what to wager what are your terms Bones"
"My terms are simple if Theresa nor Ethan are killer after come back from Maine I want you to dress up in pink toto in front of my friends and as you do a little ballet number for me I want to say in front of everyone that you are princess and that I am your queen and later I want you take somewhere nice for dinner?"
Booth laugh then said " Bones no matter embracing that is I will accept your terms."
"Good" she gave booth a smile "no what your terms"
Booth told Bones "My terms hmm let me see ah yes when come back Maine at your work all day I want to wear dunce hat and every time I make this special signal I want you to say in front everyone "I Temperance am a dunce and Booth is smartest and always will the smartest and lastly I want to pay at for five drink when got to the bar. So what you say Bones Deal or No Deal."
Bones smiles at Booth once again with no hesitation she said "Alright Deal" as they shake hands as they make their deal official.
"Now we got that settled when we leave for Harmony?" Bones asked Booth
"Tomorrow morning is the whole crew coming." Booth said
Bones replied "Of course what you thought it was going to be me you and me."
Booth blushing as he said "No I just thought that we working together alone anyways forget I was just asking."
"Yeah right." as Bones got put on her coat and said "Well I better go and packing you should do the same."
"Will do Bones see ya"
"See ya"
Booth watched Bones as she left he thought about he just said working alone just didn't why those came out this mouth like that anyway as shook the thought out his and turned to pay the bill. As just Booth turned and Bones was about to leave the diner she turned at looked was sitting going through his and thought why Booth of all the sudden was acting so strange about them working together alone because she and Booth knew they always worked with a group.
She wondered maybe just Booth has feelings but she brush that thought aside because they were partners and nothing more then she left to home and back pack as did Booth.

Chapter 2.
What really happened that night.
Back at Harmony, Maine Sam Bennett the chief of Police was checking the beach where a decomposed body was found by a local fisherman on the beach. Sam got the instinct that it the dead body of Jared Casey so to make sure he was right Sam sent the file over to the FBI under the orders of Jared’s wife Theresa Lopez Fitzgerald Crane Casey. After he sent the file Sam was later notified that a FBI forensics team would be coming to help identified the body and to investigate the case. Then later Sam went to where Theresa lived at the Crane Mansion to give her the news that Jared’s body might have been found.
Sam knocked on the knock as Theresa opened the door as smiled and said "Well chief Bennett what a surprised you just missed your son Ethan he went to pick my son Little Ethan from School. Please come in he should be home soon."
Sam said as he stepped in the house "Thank you Theresa but didn’t come to see Ethan I came to see you."
Theresa began to walked into living room" oh really what about"
Sam just stood there as he replied "Jared"
Once Theresa heard that named Theresa stop walked as she turned around to walk back towards Sam as she said "Did you find him"
"Maybe" He said
"What you mean maybe " She asked Theresa getting scared
Sam went up to her and said "Maybe you should sit down."
Theresa already crying as she said "Okay"
They walked together as they sat on the couch and Sam began to tell her what he has found.
"Today, on the beach we found a body."
"Is it Jared?" Theresa asked
Sam replied "I’m not sure the body was to decompose."
Theresa screamed and cried "Oh my god" calming down Theresa said "Did you contact the FBI?"
"Yes, I did they will have a team for us tomorrow morning up you’ll get heads up on who that is okay.’ Sam told Theresa
"Okay and you’ll be there to greet them right" Theresa said
Sam said "Of course I am sorry Theresa will you be alright."
Theresa drying her tears "I’ll be fine Ethan should be home soon."
"Okay well I better be going got a another case to solve make sure tell Ethan that I stopped by." Sam as he began to leave
"Will do chief"Theresa said
After Sam left Theresa was in deed heartbroken but, she knew she had the comfort of her lover, ex- flame, and lawyer Ethan Winthrop. As Sam left to go back to the scene Sam thought he had all the facts straight from Ethan and Theresa but he didn’t is that he didn’t all the facts about the night before Jared disappear. Theresa needed to clam down so she pour some tea that she made earlier but unfortunately the tea wasn’t working. Shortly after Sam left Ethan and her son Little Ethan came to the door. Little Ethan asked he uncle and godfather.
"Yeah uncle we played catch then"
He smiled as he replied "Sure buddy, but after done with your home." then he saw Theresa in living room distraught he know just what to make her feel better. That is when he told little Ethan "Yeah buddy can you me a big favor can you go into the living room and give you mom a bunch of hugs and kisses for me."
" Okay." Little Ethan immediately drop his stuff ran over to living room as yelled " Mom" Theresa clearing tears as soon could ran over him hug a him then Little Ethan began little kisses then she gave some back then she looked at Ethan who was starring at them smiling them she smiled back and mouthed "Thank you" and Ethan mouthed "Your welcome" then they let go as Theresa asked " So how was school Sweetie"
Little Ethan said " Great I better getting going my homework me and Uncle Ethan are going to some catching."
"Sound great sweetie then you better if you need help just call us okay." Theresa said
"Okay I love mom!" as he gave another hug and kiss on the cheek
"I love you too Sweetie" Theresa while she let go of little Ethan when he went to up Ethan and have him a high while Ethan scramble with his hard and said "Thanks buddy."
"No problem." little Ethan said as he left to go his room to do homework.
After Little Ethan left it was Ethan and Theresa. Theresa sat back down on the couch as she drink some of her tea then Ethan walked and sat right beside her putting his arm around shoulder and asked
"Hey are you okay."
"Oh Ethan your father stop by just a moment ago to tell me that he might have found Jared’s body"
Ethan putting his arm back where it is was and replied in confused way "Body"
Theresa beginning to cry once again "Ethan they might found Jared’s dead Body on the beach."
Ethan in shocked "Jared Dead" he said to himself. At that moment was in the desperate need of the bar as he left the couch as walked up to the bar and pour him some scotch. Theresa walked up towards Ethan holding him from behind as she suggested
" Ethan, I think we should tell your father about what happened that night."
Ethan said "No!" as he pulled away from Theresa
Theresa yelled "Why not" as she turned towards him
Ethan said as turned to face Theresa "You say it yourself Justice today isn’t what it used to be I mean look at your brothers Luis and Miguel they were charged for crimes they didn’t even commit."
"But Ethan you got them out you gave them their freedom and I love you forever that. So please Ethan lets just go and tell your father that night we all fought and I got upset I left and you went to on Little Ethan while Jared left to go some fresh air or possible look for me" Theresa pleaded
" That is just it Theresa that is why we can’t say can’t anything you left you don’t have a good abili like I do and if we go to my father and tell him what happened we will both be arrested as suspects and anyways I am not worry about that now have they identified the body yet." Ethan inteputted

Ethan walked towards Theresa as he yelled " **** it Theresa the FBI since when the FBI has been involved in this."

With every word she said came more tears in Theresa’s eyes. Then Ethan that was wrong and right was right and he understood what Theresa was trying to do and what she has said then went up to gave hug and kiss on the forehead and said
"Shh It is okay, I’m sorry I am just scared that’s all and I understand what you had to do for Jared but for now we just need to keep quiet about what happened that night okay."
"Okay I love you"Theresa said
"I love you too" Ethan said as just held one another.

It was the next morning at 6am in the Washtington National Airport. Bones’s forensics team and Booth were waiting for Bones to arrive which she has a hour and half left before last call on their flight. Booth was pacing back and forth while Dr. Jack Hodgins. Dr. Angela Montegro, Dr. Camilla Sanyro, and Dr. Zach Addy were sitting down watching Agent Booth’s pacing and worriedment for their Boss Dr. Brennan . Then Booth yelled to Angela
"Where is she?, Angela did Brennan say anything to you about how long and where was going."
Angela was very in deed annoyed with Booth’s worriness so try so ease it by telling him. "
"Booth clam down, okay, she told me that she needed to do some things at the at the Jeffersonian and she was going to be here around 6:30am"
" Well she still has a half an hour til 6:30" Booth replied as he began to clam down, but then his worry began to come back again as he said " but just in case, I am going to give Brennan call just to check to see if she is okay and what is taking her so long to get here." as Booth got out his cell phone .
Angela had enough she seen there was no reason why for Booth to worry Temperance is a woman she can take of herself she needs no one to worry about her including Booth. So Angela grabbed Booth’s cell phone away from his hands as she said
"No, you are not Temperance is fine she can take care of herself she is grown woman. Now sitting and clam down okay Booth is she going to be here."
"Why I do have to clam I mean come on she is my partner I have every reason to be worry. I am just shocked you guys are not feeling the same way she your Boss. Now come on Angela give my cell phone back." Booth said
Angela "No"
Jack said " Man that is just she our boss okay she perfectly capable of coming here to the airport by herself and please sit down you are making very anxious man."
Booth said "Well, I’m sorry Jack I can’t help it"
"Agent Booth, we know Dr. Brennan she always on time when come her career she is never late" Zach said
"I know Zach" as he trying to his manly image intact
Then Cam went to him she asked " Then why were you worry."
Booth ignored the Cam’s question and told everyone "Listen okay everyone I’ll clam down once after I called Temperance just to check on things please"
He walked over to Angela as he tried to get his cell phone back from Angela but quick as possible Angela move from which then Cam move in front Booth covering Angela and there Camilla seen the tears coming from Booth’s eyes that rarely one has seen before. Then Cam touched Booth’s shoulder as she whisper a question that she need Booth to admit.
"Have you been crying?" Booth wasn’t the kind of man who tried not show his feelings because father told him that it show weakness rather strength so he decide he thought to keep his manliness intact that he decided to lied as he replied "No, I haven’, Cam so please change the subject "
Cam could believe all she wanted she simple honesty from Booth but no he decided to lied right in front of face she hate men like that. She thought Booth was different from all the other men but Cam thought wrong he was like the other afraid admit when they have slightest emotion for someone well Cam though she wasn’t going to let Booth get away with. So Cam yelled at Booth "Gosh Seeley Stop being cry baby ever since what happened in Seattle you look like a emotional wreck and you’ve been driving you and us nuts just because you don’t where she is"
Booth can’t believe that Cam brought Seattle he didn’t to walk about Seattle especially in front on the team no less so he is defense he said " Well sorry Cam I have know where is she, Temperance is my partner"
"We understand that Booth but, Cam is right you have way overprotective of her. Anyways whatever happened to Dr. Brennan in Seattle wasn’t your fault"
"Yeah Booth Hodgins is right you’ve got to stop torturing yourself" Angela said
Zach told Booth "Jack and Angela are very deed accurate Agent Booth and by way there was nothing you could have none to protect on that night."
Booth did appreciate what Zach, Angela, Cam, and Jack were trying to do, but he didn’t deserve the comfort that was getting then that he told them.
" Jack, Zach, Cam, and Angela I thank you for the comfort but I don’t deserve any of it because I could have protected Temperance in Seattle, but I didn’t and chose not because I was too stubborn when we fought that night at the hotel, which caused to leave and kidnap by the killer we were trying to catch. So please your sympathy for someone else I am not a hero I like you think I am"
