I was thinking about having a contest for who could write the best Passions ending. Even though the show isn't going to end, it is ending for some of our friends who can't get dtv.

I do need a couple of things in order to make this contest a go:
1) An impartial person to act as a judge, I want to enter so it can't be me
2) One of our outstanding banner makers to create a banner for the winner

If you want to particiapte, and there are alot of you who should, just pm me your complete story. Ok, here are the rules:
1) The story can be no longer than 15 chapters
2) We are all going to be working form the same scenario - continue from the current s/l with the following exceptions: the blackmailer has fled town with no one learning his identity; Theresa's secret came out and she is fighting Julian for control of the company; Ethan has gone back to Gwen and is trying to convince her not to divorce him.
3) No inventing new characters, only those that have appeared on teh show or been discussed are allowed in Harmony as of this moment

The sky is the limit so have fun!!! Lets give Passions a fitting tribute for the years of entertainment it has brought us

This sound like fun, but I can't write (I'm not very creative) and I don't know how to make banners.

Are you going to post all of the endings or just the winner? I would love to read what people come up with.

I think having the general posters as judges might work the best. People should still pm me their stories and then I can post them. Even if you've never written a fanfic before, this is the chance you've been looking for. Everyone get writing

i wish i had time, but i don't, lol..i barely have enough time to keep up with my own, lol....

*u should reduce the number of chaps between 1-5....so it's not so overwhelming....have u ever heard of a 'one shot'..that's a one chapter story of smthg....if it were that short, i'd consider doing it too, lol....and less for people to read...

Alright, small change. The fanfics must be no more than 5 chapters, talk about a real challenge I hope that this change will bring more of us out of the wordwork. Keep posting any suggestions so that we can make this truly great

The deadline for submissions is July 15th. Now get writing and lets have a great competition

If you are going to post them all, are you going to number them so we don't know who wrote which story or are you going to post the name of the writer? We shold do the voting in a poll so everyone votes once. Or everyone can pm one person to keep track and add up the votes.

That's a great idea....to not put the names of the writers...just story #1, 2, etc....or the titles(if there are any)...

I figured otherwise it will end up being a populaity contest, not who truely is the better Passions writer.

I'm not an et fan anymore lol, but for the ones that are, do u think (by saying ethan goes begging gwen back) kinda takes that choice away from the ET writers....how could they reunite ET if he's after gwen, lol...maybe u should leave the story idea more openended-

Like:

The blackmailer is in the midst of terrorizing everyone
Gwen just came back to town
Luis still in Jail
Miguel just got out(but kay was blackmailed by julian)

*so then u can twist towards ET, or EG, or GJ, or whoever u wanted....and they can either keep or send the blackmailer packing...etc,...

*BUT IT WAS YOUR IDEA, SO DON'T MIND ME, LMAO

Yay. This sounds like a lot of fun. I stopped writing my fanfic a while back and school just ended and I have a lot of time on my hands, so I think I might give this a shot

I'm going to be numbering them and everyone can pm me their vote. I might do it 2 stories at a time so that people don't get overwhelmed:)

Hmmm... interesting idea. But since I've started watching Passions again (because so ended) I've been disappointed that the show has basically not moved forward much since I stopped watching. JER hasn't given these characters much thought, I don't think I could write anything worth while with these characters.

LOL, girl I'm sorry. Maybe extend it a bit? I've been trying to think of something but honestly the Passions Parody was pretty much my way of ending things. Yes, I'm bitter. Right now I'm just feeling totally overwhelmed by life so it's hard to think of new storylines.

How about if I make July 31 the last day. You are too good of a writer to lose for this contest. Mine started pretty bitterly, because like you I'm pretty bitter right now too, and reality is slowly killing me
