Parade Magazine's Walter Scott answers questions about TV personalities in his Personality Parade column.
I thought that perhaps we could get a columnist's take on Silverman...
So I posed a question (of course getting in an NBC Jab).
NBC Entertainment has hired Ben Silverman, known for endorsing marijuana use and for trashing offices. He's co-chair for a 4th place network that embraces gameshows and reality television over time-tested scripted dramas (as in the hallmark of CBS' success). Will he make a difference? And will he survive considering parent-company GE's conservative attitude?
I thought it would be interesting to see if we could get his thoughts on this, but I think it will take more than one question on the topic before the question gets answered.
