Hey Journeyman fans, this thread will be updated weekly with music listed in each episode, thanks to our friend taltos19! Also, kudos to bbussey for doing additional research on the timeline, and to taltos19 for putting it all together. What's gonna work? Team-Work! You two are amazing! Let's give them both round of applause:

From taltos19: Additions (many thanks to bbussey's work matching them):

Note: NBC is right about the Psychedelic Furs song in 101... I remember there being some confusion about the song title based on lyrics searches. Apparently I didn't go back and fix that... oops.

Thanks Gabbiee for some of episodes 111 and 112!

Yeah, they are calling the pilot episode #100, so I had to go back and renumber. I was wondering why Kevin Falls kept talking about Episode 12 while I was thinking there were 13. laugh.gif

And the NBC site does not list the songs in order, or with a timeline description. Oh well, you can't have everything. wink.gif

Thanks NBC for posting the Music from Journeyman! You can even purchase some of the songs.
Yay, NBC!

Anyone know the artist or song title? It's very catchy but I don't know much about it, other than it's clearly a female fronted band/singer.

The name of the band is SUM 41, the song title is With Me. You can listen to it on YouTube

Sounds like The Fray vinn, would like too know this myself actually. Very good song. Plus I liked the fact they included an Oasis song in there (champagne supernova) earlier in the episode. Now thats a classic tune! Though I am from Manchester as well so I would say that!! cool.gif

Hello, that was Sarah McLachlan "Building a Mystery", I'm not a music buff but it's a great song. I enjoyed the use of the music to aid in conveying the time period. The songs weren't just backgrounds like other tv shows, they took on a more important role.
tdbrown
I enjoyed that they used the music to convey the mood and time period, but there were a few moments in the Pilot Episode where the music actually drowned out the dialogue and I missed what was said by the characters. Anyone else find this to be true?
Doodledexter
Hey Guys- Great Show! Journeyman is really smart and keeps you guessing.

The music is also great. Does anyone know the songs threaded throughout the show last night? ALso the last song in the last scene where he unburies the tool chest. Who sings this?

Thanks!
jimshoes
I thought the show was great, the music good, but sometimes they played the music so loud, especially the last ten minutes, I missed a lot of the dialog. Does it have to be so loud?

Check above at some of the earlier posts. You may find some answers there. wink.gif

Welcome to the boards, everyone!

How perfect was using "The Fray - Look After You" at the end of the Pilot?

It seems obvious that was a great choice after-the-fact, but if the people putting together that kind of thinking behind the episodes do it every week, this show is going to be very special! I am very excited!
Semi75
I'm trying to figure out the song from the bar scene at the engagement party in 98 I believe. I can't for the life of me recall it.

The directors did a great job of music selection throughout the pilot, this is a point I rarely notice in movies or tv shows but it really helped set the mood.
gacracker82
Does anyone know the name of the song that was playing at the end of journey man, it had oh oh oh be my baby oh oh oh please be my baby, something like that, let me know Thanks

Does anyone know the name of the song playing in last night's episode when Olivia and "the wife" (forgot her name...) were talking about having pregnancy scares in the old apartment? Something about "do you want me now, do you want me now?" The timeframe, I believe, was 1994. Gosh, I hope someone knows because I stayed up half the night trying to figure it out. I'm tired.
LegZoff
This show is a little incomprehensible, but the music is first-rate.

Thanks for all the help from everyone on the songs listed in the episodes. I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the song that played after Dan gets his MRI and heads through the airport with his wife? I don't have any lyrics, unfortunately.

This is the song at the end of episode 3 - Artist: Cat Power
Song: I Found A Reason
charles_carmichael
So the song I can't figure out is from the 3rd episode. All I can tell is that it is a female voice and some of the words I can make out are "all around the world", "can you help me, help me", and something about "the wilderness".

and no....it is not the SUM 41 song that someone else said it was earlier.
Taco Supreme
I've seen a few people ask about the Theme Song of "JourneyMan" to no prevail. If anyone has ANY information about it, please share it, whether it be a title, album or artist.
