As you know we have created several new subforums. I know some of you like it and some of you don't. The original intent was to create a more cohesive atmosphere for everyone to post in. We want this board to be a fun and happy place to post. So, in theory, the idea of sub-forums is great...in actual practice, I've found it somewhat difficult to navigate, especially having to jump from forum to forum...so my thoughts are to keep the sub forums, but to condense the number of sub forums some what. The forums would look something like this.

Love in the Afternoon Forum
The VETS (All things John, Marlenna, Bo, Hope, Steve, Kayla, Roman, Kate, Billie, Abe, Lexi, Stefano, Tony, Anna, Victor, Caroline, Shawn Sr, Alice, Maggie, etc. and the actors who portray them)

Lumiland (All things Lumi - Lucas, Sami, The Roberts Family, Bryan, Ali...etc.)

EJamination (All things Ejami - EJ, Sami, James, Ali...etc)

The Young Adults (All things - Shawn, Belle, Phillip, Chloe, Mimi, Chelsea, Nick, Jett, Stefanie, Jeremy, Max, Abby, etc...and the actors who portray them.

I think having all seperate forums for characters and actors and couples is a bit too many places to have to hunt for threads...

Anyway... I'm open to suggestions if you have any regarding the additional forums.

I know many of you like the idea of having each couple with their own sub-forum, however, for those who post in multiple couple threads it is time consuming to have to jump from forum to forum. How would it be to have one forum that is specifically PRO threads for all couples/characters. Each couple or character would have one thread in the PRO forum... other threads or multiple threads about a particular couple or character would be merged automatically into its respective couple or character thread. Would this be a better solution for couples and characters? As it stands now, we have one forum for couples, fantasy couples and triangles that has about 15 sub-forums to jump through and we have a second forum specifically for characters/actors... I'd like to combine these some how and I think one forum for ALL PRO would be best, but I want to know what you guys think before I do that.

BTW...I changed a couple of the forums already this morning. You can now find OT, banners, chats and games in one central location... the Salem Place forum.

Haven't been here in a while and at first it was very disorienting, however I think it would be better to have one or two common areas, and then fanbase subforums. Having a bigger common area may also help those fans who aren't really affiliated with any particular fanbase a place where they can hang out and not feel so isolated.

I like the idea of subforums...maybe a bigger general forum for people to post what they want to talk about & a subform for the different pro threads about specific couples or triangles.

UGH I should have posted the following here and not in another place. Oh well. I was just wondering if you could keep a special section for fanart. It's easier to take requests or offer help when our threads are not lost. Just a thought

I think the current state of the board is good. Everyone seems to like this format the best, so unless the board powers that be decide on further changes this is how it's going to stay.

I do not like the sub forms at all. They are not user friendly. I am also displeased with the continuing problems using this board. From logging in to trying to post my opinions.Obviously I am not the only one. Since it is like a ghost town around here. Is that why you changed the boards color to white? It gives me a headache.

I'm now finding it easier to navigate around the site. I think the cleanup of the graphics up top helped a whole lot. Plus things are appearing on my screen a lot cleaner than before. The subforms are OK, not sure if any changes were made since the last time I was here, but I like it a bit more than I did. One thing that is still buggy though -- sometimes this site makes my computer hang -- like some of the ads or graphics or something is hanging my machine up and I have to force quit. This has happened quite a few times recently. I never had to do that occur under the old site design. Not sure what is causing it -- could be my machine.

I do like the look much better now. The white background helps make the site at least have the appearance of being friendlier. The light blue text (the color used in the word "my" in the "myNBC" logo) is hard on the eyes though. It's fine in the logo but as far as being used for navigational text -- it probably should be used a bit more sparingly (JMHO).

I do not like the sub forms at all. Right now the braod feels DOA.

The spoiler and off topic sub - boards, thats a PLUS.
But the couples, nah.. The main board looks dead right now. The couples sub - boards, needs to go.

These sub forums are confusing and I am sometimes afraid that I am posting in the worng place. And though I maynot be a huge fan of other couple I do like to run into their topics sometimes. And I am too lazy to click into sub forums.

I haven´t been here in a while either,and I have to say,all the subforums are confusing.

It would be better to have a regular Days section,with a subforum for spoilers.Then a couples forum(it´s better to have all couples collected in one section,less confusing),and then an art works forum.That way you have all three bases covered in just three main forums within the Days forum.That way you save time when you administrate,the fans save time(less forums to work around),and everyones happy.
