Really kinda sad, but I try on jeans from everywhere. And one of the most comfy pairs and fit great are mine from target. That mossimo(spelling) brand. boot cut, low rise but not super and roomy in the hip area. I actually look taller and more slimed. Not bad for a 25 dallor purchase and a year later They still look great.
I own 2 jean skirts muffy and they both have slits in the front, so you can see my legs. I don't care what designers say...all skirts make some part of a womans leg look bigger than it is.

yeah, Target's brands have better sizing, I think. they also have better selection than wal-mart. And those are the only places I buy jeans--I'm too cheap for department stores! And the only Sears Essentials (aka Kmart) we have nearby is a 20 minute drive... I'll just go to the target or walmart down the street

I hate plucking my eyebrows so I got an at home wax to save money. I do not know if I want to risk waxing myself.. or sit there in pain plucking all my hairs out

My eyebrows affect the way I think about myself so much, if they are not nice and neat somehow I feel just yuck.
also my lips have ezcama ( sp?) they are different colors at the moment... sigh it takes way to much work to look nice

What I've give to have a good consignment/thrift store in my town

All of the jeans that seem to fit me well come from stores that take brand-names and slash down the prices (like Ross and TJ Maxx). I occasionally splurge on Old Navy jeans too. They fit me the best.

I got a pair of Old Navy jeans yesterday. They fit me just how I like it in the legs. Only problem is that for some reason, the waistband kind of flairs off of my waist. So weird.

I've gone to consignment shops. They're a lot of fun - when they have what you're looking for. But most of the time it's a crapshoot.
Old Navy fit me the best, too.

I went to Roots today and tried on these dresses, they're so nice and I fit in an xs! I just don't know which one to get, I have to think about it some more. But if my sister gets one I can get the other, cause we both fit in the xs. They're just a little expensive.
This is one of the ones I tried, but in navy and
this one comes in black and green with a pattern. Anyway, I just wanted to share in girlie stuff.

I *totally* know how you feel. I'd wax my eyebrows, but I fear that I'll pull out every single hair from it's roots. I just get my mom to pluck 'em for me, which doesn't hurt very much. I've given up on threading 'cause last time, this lady left this big hole which made my eyebrows uneven

.
And yes, thick eyebrows totally affect my mood. Not only that, but they make my eyes look totally different. Even with the proper eye makeup it still doesn't feel right. Proper eyebrows really open up the eyes, instantly making one look better. The only exceptions is Brooke Shields, who looks fab no matter what.

The very first time I got my brows waxed, the lady doing it was telling me this HILARIOUS

story about the first time she waxed brows. It seemed she believed that if she applied the wax to the ENTIRE brow, only the offending stray hairs would magically come off. And......as predicted, she waxed off her client's ENTIRE EYEBROW.
So here I am, scared of the pain, nervous how it will look, and I'm hearing this story from the woman doing the waxing. Niiiiice.
(I'm happy to report though that she had learned not to wax off an entire brow and it ended up looking OK).

Ow! You might have a bit of a chemical burn on your lip. If I were you I'd wait a little longer than Monday to get it waxed. You might end up with more than just a bright red upper lip!

1. Women's clothing is rarely made with comfort in mind.
2. There's something kind of sensual about wearing our man's PJ's. I steal my husband's all the time.

K, so my friend is getting married next month in the UK next month & me & another friend are in charge of her secret stagette party. So far, we thought of renting a limo & doing another activity. Male strippers & clubs are ruled out as she's not fond of either. Me, that's a different story but I'll save those two activites for when I'm the bride to be

.
So, I need some suggestions. Keep in mind that everyone attending is either 20 or 21 year college students who aren't exactly too wealthy

. That eliminates the spa & a weekend in some Las Vegas casino. We just want to celebrate her final days as a single day so almost anything can work I guess.
Thanks everyone

Wearing a man's shirt is nice because it negates the need for a top
and a bottom. If the shirt comes down past your butt -- presto! Instant, appropriate, comfortable house-wear without the discomfort and restriction of something on the lower half.
