here goes...this time with my period I'm like on extra heavy flow, not horrible cramps but cramps but massive mood swings and no clotting. But normal flow heavy clotting, I get cramps that can't be described they are so awful. Does anyone else have this same issue?
I used to be the same. I'd have massive cramps and heavy flow for 3-4 days, and my period would last 7-8 days. The real only solution is to go on BC (even just a really low dose pill). That totally changed my life. I don't worry about cramps and heavy flow. I still have a few cramps, but at least they are bearable, and they don't force me to lay on the floor all day. Also, the only thing that works for cramps for me is Naproxen.
Talking about aunt flow, I think she's arriving shortly in my case. I had a few cramps, and I took some Naproxens, so I feel better now.

Yeah, but how much soap and water would you use to clean them? Water is a valuable resource as well. And I don't see how you could only own 2 of them - what of you need to change before the first one is dry?
Ok, here's the problem with hankies: You blow your nose, then you have a hanky full of germs. then you put the germy hanky in your pocket, so now you have a pocket full of germs. So unless you are going to use a separate hanky every time you wipe your nose, you're going to put the germy hanky back up to your nose, thereby reinfecting yourself. And again, you have to wash them in hot (fuel usage) water (water usage) and soap. So I say, use a tissue and throw the germs away. It's just more sanitary.
Please tell me you don't really use your sleeve.
I believe in green, ecologically friendly products, but some things that sound green just aren't.
If I don't have anything and I'm really
really desperate, I occasionally (if it's a raggedy sweater) use my sleeve.

I did it more when I was a kid.
I use up a lot of tissues sometimes. I used to get colds all the time, and I had to get my tonsils out cause I couldn't breath cause my nose was always clogged.
You make a good point, but I don't think a hankie is such a bad idea. Maybe I'll get one and not use it, but I guess it's worth a try, for our planet! And like CHBO said, we do put our undergarments in the wash, so...
But I don't think I'd use it if I had a cold, cause that would just spread germs like you said. But my nose is always runny in the cold weather, so I think in that respect it'd be useful.
