West is not Sylar.

West may be the kid that Claude was protecting that got him shot and into hiding. Not sure of timeline, but seems possible due to the fact they were discussing Claire in the car right before that. There is no mention as to how long he was protecting that someone.

West may have been tagged or had a runin with the company possibly.

His intentions towards Claire seem innocent enough for now. He knows he is a sg and suspects Claire is aswell. As for the last scene in 2.2, he pretty much knows she is special at this point. I don't think he was really spying on her in that scene as in 2.1. He had the book with him. I think he dropped by to either give it to her, or something else along those lines.

It won't surprise me if West has some connection to the Organization, but I seriously doubt he's a character we've already met before.

I don't know where you got the idea that he could be Sylar. For one thing, Sylar is obsessed with power: if he saw Claire demonstrate a supernatural power as Claire did, he wouldn't act shocked and run; he'd plan to take it. Secondly, Sylar already knows who Claire is, and since he has Charlie's eidetic memory, he doesn't forget things easily. He would have recognized Claire right in the classroom during the biology class and attacked her that night instead of spying on her two nights in a row.

Still, there has to be a reason he only spies on Claire (he was looking through her window two nights in a row, so I'm assuming he's not just your typical creepy kid). I don't think he suspected she had a power from the get go, but I'm sure there was something that provoked him to pay such close attention to her.

So this is slighty off topic but not really. After the episode, and reading around, there is might be something about Wes and the deaths of the 9. I think the painting showed that. Though Bennet isn't one of the original 9 (Wait, was it 9 left alive or 9 total, they were the previous generation of "Heroes" Linderman, Mr. and Mrs. Petreli, the old dude Peter took care of and fell in love with his daughter, Hiro's father, the guy i the blue hoodie, anyone got any guesses who else's parents are part of that, maybe Mika's grandparents on father's side) But who else thinks that Sylar is still in Candice's fantasy world and she is perfectly safe and he only thinks he killed her. Definately wouldn't be that far fetch, especially if "the company" had found Sylar. She is being used to keep him from knowing where he is and whats going on while they have him on that same drug Mohinder used to try and stop him from using his powers. Also, the 9 pretty much started the whole bagging and tagging so why would they tag one of their own? Or if you were after some one and knew what her father used to do, would you do it to yourself to get between her protector and her.

I don't get it..... how can anyone still think west is Sylar. Don't you all watch the show, Sylar is that wounded guy that kills and doesn't have all his powers anymore. NOT WEST !!!
