Al Nickerson's art work will be displayed in this episode.

Take a look at his page and info about it all.

Excerpt:

Al's bio:

"Al Nickerson
Location: New York, United States
Al "Ink-Boy" Nickerson is a comic book inker for DC Comics and Archie Comic Publications. Al is also the creator of The ARGGH!!! Chronicles comics (www.arggh.com), and author of Ya Can't Erase Ink... http://alnickerson.blogspot.com/2007/11/do...-law-order.html

And

"Hello everyone,

I was contacted by the folks of the television series LAW & ORDER CRIMINAL INTENT. They had asked me if I might be interested in submitting some of my artwork and characters for an upcoming episode. Apparently, they’re shooting a sequence of scenes that takes place in an animation studio. The network wanted to put my characters and artwork on some posters for some background shots.

I still retain all ownership of the characters and artwork used in the episode. I had insisted that my contract clearly state: "Al Nickerson retains all ownership, copyright, and trademark of the Material."

You'll see my characters and artwork on LAW & ORDER CRIMINAL INTENT Episode Seven, Season Seven. I am told that this episode will air on November 15th on the USA Network, and is titled "Self Made". Two of the pieces (the first two posted below) are printed at six feet tall each. Now, I gotta figure out how I can get them home..."

This time Stevens gets to be the killer
By TERRY MORROW
Scripps Howard News Service
Monday, November 12, 2007

Excerpt:

"Even before Fisher Stevens read the script for "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (airing 10 p.m., ET/PT Thursday, USA), he was hoping he'd be the killer.

"Whenever you're the killer, you get that really, really meaty scene," he says. "Killers always get that really good scene at the end."

In Thursday's episode, Stevens plays a literary agent who is a shark. He has a history of abusing women and paying them off to keep silent. He plays a despicable type who has all eyes on him.

"He's super smart but also super ambitious and those (types) are scary people," Stevens says.

After an acquaintance of his is brutalized and then shot, he is among the prime suspects. Of course there are other suspects, too -- veteran character actor Peter Coyote plays a down-on-his-luck writer who has a motivation as well..."

And

""It's a little bit like doing theater," he says, "and you see the actors on the show doing theater all the time so that's kind of great."

And

'"It's high-quality TV. You know the scripts are really good," he says. "This is the kind of (material) actors look for, especially when they are doing series TV."'

And

"By cable TV's more meager ratings standards, "Criminal Intent" has held its own, emerging as one of USA's most-watched shows this fall. The series is averaging 4 million viewers weekly..."

Just curious, who is the actor playing TJ? I cannot seem to find this information on the internet.

The actor was Pablo Schreiber, brother of Liev Schreiber, who filled in on CSI last season when William Peterson took time off to do a play or something.

Pablo Schreiber has appeared previously on LOCI as the character Ed in the episode "The Unblinking Eye" as the friend of the guy who was shot and whose girlfriend was killed so he would make it big. Ed was the actor with the embarrassingly bad scene with Matt Damon off camera.

He was also in an ep of SVU..

This was one stinky cheeseman of an episode for me. I just did not like it from start to finish. The only high point for me was the really mean and nasty literary agent played by Fisher Stevens. When he wasn't on screen there was very little reason for the episode. And this was me after a nice long nap in preparation for watching. So I wasn't overly tired when I sat through this one.

Hated that they didn't have a morgue scene because I really like Leslie Hendrix's ME Rodgers.

Hated that Ross was only on in a simple and obligatory "moving the scene along" supporting role. I want more fire in his belly, like he showed last season, but without the constant Goren chip.

Thought that Peter Coyote's character was a ridiculous fop of a man with a really bad accent. It was the vocal equivalent of George Hamilton's tan.

Oh well, they can't all be "Endgame" and "Brother's Keeper". This was this season's lousy Goren & Eames episode. Like "Rocketman". Now they only have to all be perfect the rest of the time.

This has been a "stinky-cheeseman" season for Gorem and Eames. However, I think the contrasting storyline of Falacci and other guy are pretty sharp! Good writing for their stories and poor for Gorem and Eames. Why?

Also, does D'Onofrio want off the show or something? This is the third episode where he has a dissappearing-reappearing stuble. Maybe he's going to quit and make a movie about HP Lovecraft's life. Let's be honest, Bob Howard's only SO cool!
SnarkAngel
I really enjoyed "Self-Made." With each Goren/Eames eppy this season, we see Goren become a little more impatient and a little more aggressive. Last night, he was downright menacing in a couple of scenes. Eames expressed concern, verbally or facially, several times. They're building up to something major with Goren. I'm loving it!
vincen_fan77
=SnarkAngel,

I agree with you about Eames concern. I love the scene where shes' like Bobby when hes asking the guy to hit him. Im going to watch the ep again cuz i was a tad distracted last night. Im hoping w ehave better eps of Goren and Eames before the strike potentially ends our season early. I loved Amends..i want more eps like that one!!
AnneMarie_donahue
Would the strike end the season prematurely? I thought shows bought a season's worth of scripts in advance. That would be smarter.
I'm only annoyed that these episodes are dealing too much with their personal lives. i watch Crime Dramas because the drama usually centers around a CRIME, not some whiney douchebag complaining about his mom... sorry, i'm from boston, we're just not warm fuzzy people.
I like Gorem's character, but he's becoming too morose. If he keeps getting agitated like he did in last night's episode he's going to find himself off the force. i was under the impression that he had actually broken a finger... which I assumed was incorrect since there was no case in the preceeding scene on the TJ character. If he's gonna go "batshit" crazy he should just haul off and crack someone! No more of this passive/agreesive handholding ****, or the "you hit me first" junior high crap. Just start smoking again, tell Eames to mother someone else, and turn into the bad cop we've been waiting for.
Eames' character could be really great, but for the most part she's just Mindy to Gorem's Mork. I want her to actually say the line, "what are you doing now?" just to make it official. That's too bad because Catherine erbe is brilliant adn I LOVE the character Eames. And if we are going to focus on family life, can we meet the sister and son/nephew?
That's what I like about Logan/Falacci stories, they focus on crime. When I watch Gorem I feel like I'm watching a soap opera.
Ahh, enough of my belly aching. Weird Tales beckons....

Wow, kinda thought that was a pretty obviously literary reference I was making by calling him Gorem and not Goren since the actor DID play Robert e. Howard... but you didn't get it.

Is Kathryn. I love her name.
AstonMartin
This is the 1st season 7 eps I've seen and I thought it was very good, but not nearly as good as earlier G/E eps I've seen. Goren is really just agitated isn't he. Either they're planning some big blow out for Goren or VDO is losing interest in the part - haven't seen enough eps to fully make up my mind. I do hope that it's NOT the former!! Eames seemed genuinely at a loss with him. They seem to have lost some of their chemistry. Is that the case for the season or was it just this eps??? Is it where the characters are going or is it new directors etc?

Stefan1, while I'm not sure if I agree with you, I have to say i LOVED your comment on Peter Coyote's accent being the vocal equivalent of George Hamilton's tan. Priceless!!!
stefanl
Thanks AstonMartin. I just did not like that episode. I know lots of other fans did and quite a bit too from remarks I've read at other sites. It just did nothing for me, which is fine. Every episode can't strike the "loved it just because" chord with everyone.
