"ROSEMARY'S BABY"

10/25/2007 (08:30PM - 09:00PM) (Thursday) : When Liz (Tina Fey) meets her idol, Rosemary Howard (Guest Star Carrie Fisher), she invites her to be a guest writer on the show. However, Rosemary's radical ideas that Liz grew up admiring are now too controversial for Liz's NBC show. When Liz refuses to fire Rosemary, Jack (Alec Baldwin) pressures Liz, who promptly quits. Jack brings Tracy (Tracy Morgan) to a therapist to figure out why he must do the opposite that he is told. Meanwhile, after Jenna (Jane Krakowski) ruins Kenneth's (Jack McBrayer) page jacket, Kenneth must compete in a page-off in order to keep his job. Carrie Fisher guest stars; Scott Adsit, Judah Friedlander, Lonny Ross, Katrina Bowden, John Lutz, Maulik Pancholy, Kevin Brown and Grizz Chapman also star.

One of the funniest episodes I've seen, which isn't to say that it wasn't as funny as the ones I haven't.
That would be weird.

Great episode. Carrie Fisher did a fun guest appearance (with the token "Star Wars" reference at the end), and Alec Baldwin was phenomenal in Tracy's therapy. Two questions, though:
1. Is the "Page Battle" a familiar sort of thing for the corporate workplace? I remember in an episode of "Dilbert," two interns have a similar fight, with each others' ties tied to the others' wrists and highlighter in the other hand for a battle.
2. What happened with Jonathan? Is he actually gone? I love that guy.

Baldwin's performance in the therapy session was the best "30 Rock" scene I've ever seen. He just cut loose.
