I think that Columbo had to be the first "quirky" TV detective. Columbo would have me rolling on the floor when he interviewed the suspects! Being a slob and unhygenic looking made people think that he was stupid. He would always get them to say something that they shouldn't have said. The light that came on in the suspect's eye on realizing how brilliant Columbo really always got me!

This guy, I haven't figured out, exactly, what his style is??? Zen makes you see things that others miss??? Zen makes you live like a Japanese???? Zen makes you have sex with many strange women??? Zen makes you highly organized in some areas of your life and completely stupid in others??? Zen makes you have a fruit obsession?

BTW, I don't think he's handsome, but I do think he is charismatic!
