I'm curious about something. It's clear to me that "Casino Night" was the turning point of the US OFFICE series. Everything was status quo before that episode, everything was different after that episode. So my question here is "Was CASINO NIGHT the best we will see of the OFFICE?" Or more accurately, will THE OFFICE ever have a moment that will truly equal or surpass The Confession / The Kiss (depending on which moment you thought was more moving or powerful)? I'm having trouble imagining such a moment. Which speaks to how deep those CN moments were. But the writers are very gifted, so I wouldn't put it beyond them to be able to top the impact of "Casino Night".
Personally, I found the Confession of CN to be the most moving moment of THE OFFICE. That's what changed everything. No matter what happened after that, there would be no more platonic friendship between Jim and Pam. The Kiss is great, until you remember that she still turned him down afterward (takes away the power of that moment, in retrospect).
My question is, IF "Casino Night" can be topped, what would it take? And if it can't, has THE OFFICE peaked in terms of emotional heaviness?
