Notice the lunar eclispe in the logo "Heroes" and remember when Hiro time travelled back and in the middle of the battle with Kensai, an lunar eclispe began?
Well, I think that everytime it happens a few people get abillities. So I think Kensai just got his abillitie and his power is to regenerate like Wolverine in Marvel so he never ages. Since he never ages and dies, I think his mind gets corrupted because veryone he loves ages and dies but he stays the same forever.
Anyone here thinks this is true?
Sorry for the spelling mistakes -.-

I cannot start my own thread some I'm leaving my theory here because it is the most relevant thread to do so in.
It is my belief that Kensei is related to the Petrelli's. My reasoning here is that Pa Petrelli used the Godsend symbol as his company logo for his law firm.

Kensei is probably the father of the heroes. He will travel the world, have many wives and lots of babies, and low and behold, the gene is spread! Hiro may be his progeny and all the others, but Takezo Kensei is the first and the one that spawns them all.

yeah clancy thats exactly what i said the other day i think they are all decendents of kensei. who knows he might have all the abilities which start to develop over time, being the sort of guy that he is, i dont see him sticking with just one woman, who knows he may have already slept around a bit. it could just take 2 sleepovers to start it off. and obviously they go and have a couple of kids of their own and it just keeps going from there.
with the eclipse theory it doesnt really fall thru, if i can remember hiro used his power by stopping the clock before he was on the roof looking at the eclipse, we havent really seen anyone else look at the eclipse.

We saw Peter, Niki, and i think Claire see the eclipse. All of which had found about or had shown their powers later in the 6 months ago episode, so the eclipse as a trigger doesn't fly in my mind, but then again that's mind. nuff said
