Sorry, not real good at net, but i would like to know about max and stephanie's backstories. I watched days years ago, and then my job kept me from watching. I know Stephanie belongs to Steve and Kayla, but who are Max's parents? It seems to me that he belongs to Shawn and Caroline, but isn't that insestuous? Could somebody please fill me in? thanks

Max was adopted by the Bradys when he was a child so he is not blood related to the Bradys. Some thinks because of this it is OK for him and Stephanie to be together and others still consider this incest whether Max and Stephanie are blood related or not. It's entirely up to personal beliefs.

I have to say, I think Max & Stephanie were cute together yesterday, when they declared their feelings for each other. I think it is the first time Max has every really been 'in love'. I actually found myself rewinding their scenes.

I love love stax, I just started watching days last week on wednesday actually.
I have caught myself up alittle bit on their back story. And It has only mad me love them more. The actors have amazing chemistry and seem to be very comfortable with each other.
Cant wait for more wonderful stax scenes to come

New member here! Saw so many stax-haters I had to join to make sure that ppl realize there is a huge stax fan-base and it doesnt seem very well repped on these boards. lol Seriously though, my sister got me hooked on Days bc of this couple and I got my three roomies to be converted as Days fans because of them. I think the younger fans especially appreciate their chemistry. I know I love watching all their scenes together!

That's what I was scared of too! However, if they were gonna listen to the haters they would have done so waaaay before the level they're at now. The haters have always been there. But honestly there is a BIG STAX fanbase out there. It's just that these haters are so loud about their dislike for the coupling I think a lot of STAX fans dont want to join in on the discussions and get bashed for their opinions. I know that's why it took me a while to join this board, but then I realized (mainly after seeing some of your posts) that we need to be heard. I'm glad the writers are keeping them together. There have been a couple polls I saw that asked who should Max be with and Stephanie won by a majority...a big majority. Also, on some other boards its really not that bad and you can see a lot of STAX fans out there. And a lot of these fans dont come on message boards to make their opinions heard. I remember Darin saying in an interview that they have gotten a lot of letters and phone calls in support of this couple so I think they're being heard through other means. I think that the writers know the appeal is there and I feel like its mainly directed at new Days fans. Days is pretty good with the younger viewers and I think that is one of the reasons. I know that the STAX coupling appeals to the majority of younger fans, ones that are ready for a new supercouple. I love the power couples of Bo and Hope and John and Marlena, but I haven't been around long enough to see their history. And STAX's chemistry is unbelievable. Great to see the writers are keeping them together! Besides, most of the haters dont like the characters anyway. It's not like they even care who ends up with Max or Stephanie. Those are my two fave characters on the show! The writers are smart and realize the fanbase is there. Its only gonna continue to grow as their history grows. All other supercouplings have had years together...stax's history just began!

I've gotten people hooked on the show for Max and Stephanie. A few of them now are guys who think Shelley Hennig is HOT. Hahahaha. Of course they won't admit to watching Daytime TV, hahaha. My brother doesn't watch it daily but he's caught me watching it when he's visited and he's watched a little of an episode here and there. He'll ask me though, "So how's the DAYS HOTTIE (Shelley) doing?"

Well thats not a bad reason to watch. I personally can't get enough of Max. He's my favorite character and not to mention so completely SEXY! I'm just glad STAX fans are being heard...and the writers are keeping them together!

There was some great scenes! For once Steph took initiative with the lovin, and we saw Max's vulnerable side. Steph finally was the one doing the consoling. I hope it's posted too bc I really want to watch it again! I dont know if you all have seen this site before, but here was a great site with clips. Problem is it hasn't been updated since the end of May. Still a good place to watch some of the old faves.

Calling all Stax fans to start supporting their favorite couple. I don't think Stephanie and Max are completely over, but they could be if we don't start showing our support. The whole Philip/Stephanie/Melanie triangle is being written more like a competition than a romance. I agree with some of the posters here that the writers are dropping huge hints about a possible Phloe reunion, so a Stax reunion may also be a real possiblity in the near future. I know there are lots of Stax fans out there -- please don't let Stax the haters on this board intimidate you into not posting.

I agree ShelleyFan completely.... bring back STAX. I know that there are lots of STAX haters out there but the writers spent a year getting this couple together... they are great and have great chemistry.... bring them back.

Thanks for joining me here nml1808! I believe Stax will be together again because of the way the Philanie relationship is being written. It isn't being written like a romance the way Stax was initially -- it's being written like a rebound relationship with a side of competition with Melanie.

I am a huge Stax fan as well and am just waiting for the day that they get back together. I think the writers spent too much time getting these two together for them to forget about Stax now. I also agree with ShelleyFan that Philip and Stephanie's relationship is being written more like a rebound / competition with Melanie. Hopefully Stax will get back together soon!

All of the Max and Stephanie scenes up to this point are proof that they will get back together again. It's just a matter of time. Philip and Stephanie is really a storyline about Melanie and they won't last.

This whole Phillip and Stephanie knowing each other came out of nowhere. So how can they all of a sudden be in a relationship? Days spent two years blossoming a beautiful friendship and relationship with Stephanie and Max. I believe and know that they will reunite our Stax soon<3
