I think there was another one, when he was chasing the huge guy through the alley, and they cut through that family's living room, Crews didnt have a gun in his hand in one shot, and did in the next.

This isn't really a continuity error, but Crews refers to GPS satellites as being geosynchronous, and they're not. I made the same error when writing about GPS -- in fact GPS satellites orbit the earth about twice a day.

I came on here to find out where to gripe about that!

Why does everybody like to say "geosynchronous"? Do they think it is a technical term meaning a really cool hi-tech satellite? (Don't get me started with all the words they like to throw around firearms!)

Granted you could do GPS, unlike the old NavSat, at least over ConUS with geosynchronous, but there's no need and they aren't.

This is OT, but wasn't really sure where to put it...is it just me or is the Jennifer (ex-wife) in the on-line documentary different than the Jennifer we see on the show? Confused...

On the last episode Crews and Reese are with the tactical team looking for the Russian "Roman" where his dogs are kept. Crews and Reese have the semi automatics drawn while behind the tactical team. Reese has her finger off the trigger parallel with the slide. Crews has his finger on the trigger. As they are both veteran cops Crews has no business with his finger on the trigger behind the tactical team with no target acquired. I'm not sure why Crews in this scene is not following proper procedure. The first episode where Crews and Reese are attempting to apprehend the child killer both Crews and Reese are following procedure no finger on trigger until target acquired. It would appear there is minimal consistency applied between episodes. In addition the scene where Crews breaks through the apartment with his shoulder is a stretch. The door has two double bolts and Crews breaks through without a hitch. No damage to the door frame, casing, or locks absolutely amazing.

I feel the acting, script, and characters are excellent, however the director and editing details are lacking.

Heh. I'd prefer to think that they didn't bring in a good consultant. Not everyone, particularly if they're from the EU or UK, knows or understands proper gun handling. For a show like this, a good consultant - like, say.... A current or ex-cop? - is invaluable. Even better, since it appears that LAPD detectives seem to follow tactical teams in somewhere, would be someone from that part of the force.

But, then..... I could be dead wrong on that one.

Tonites episode...............young lad shot by swat while in the bank but no window was broken by the bullet.....they shoot thru an open door?

LOL about shooting through an open door!!!

And yes the Jennifer in the online doc shot is different from the show. The online doc is the chick from SG-1 (I love her) and she would have been great. I wonder why she's not on the show. Maybe they wanted a blonde?!
I don't know why whoever is supposed to be updating this site doesn't switch out the video to reflect the actual actress - lazy maybe.

GPS is semigeosynchronous, so it's a minor error. They orbit the earth exactly twice a day.

In episode 4, when Reese and Crews are eating tacos Reese is telling Crews the motive that James and Drew could have had to kill Len, but then Reese says "If he killed James, it wasn't for the money"

James wasn't the victim, Len was.
