I washed 3 loads of laundry and folded 2. I also gave my mom a manicure. I emptied and refilled the dishwasher. I tidied up all the newspapers in the living room and separated them for recycle, and went through a week's worth of mail. I helped my brother mix cement so he could repoint the brick to keep out the bees.

And I approved all the pending employees for DMI Ypsilanti.

Now, most of you will have bigger things than this. But these are big for me.

So, what did you accomplish today?

I did 3 loads of laundry and cooked dinner with ease. That is a big accomplishment.

I also said positive things, avoided negative things and didn't complain all day. That is a big accomplishment as well (according to my hubby anyway ).

I changed my avatar and sig with a minimum of fuss.

I like this thread. I feel like I have accomplished many things.

Ok, I said this on the OT thread, but I'll say it again cause it's an accomplishment. I got a job, my first job ever, and I'm going there tomorrow to see about my schedule.

Also, my sister and I brushed and washed the dog! We didn't clean the tub though, but at least the dog is clean!

I painted our laundry room/bathroom and managed not to fall off the ladder when painting the crown molding Tomorrow i have to add baseboard molding and install a new ceiling fan.

Just another day in the life of OH . . . . My god woman! Can I hire you to come to my house and do that?

LOL Sure i'll hope on my NBC issued helicopter and be there soon I never trust the electrical switch box when doing parts of the house, so I turn off ALL of the electricity when doing this type of work. Mr. O laughs at me.

I finished my article for our newspaper (the entire thing) today. My editor said it was great. I feel pretty relieved.

I looked that smug plastic jack-o-lantern brimming with chocolate goodness in the eye and said, "NO! Be gone wicked gourd!"

Now you only have to say it 20 more times . . . .

I made it through another day without one of the kids killing themselves or each other.

Today I read my editorial about the abuse of women in the Middle East and North Africa in class, and I thought it wasn't all that great, but I worked really hard on it and the teacher really liked it! They have a magazine for the school, and he said I should come and work for it cause I'm a really good writer. I had an editorial published in it last year about the hyper-sexualization of women, but I didn't think this one was as good. He even said that I should fix it up and send it to the Gazette!

This makes me think I might go into Literature in CEGEP next year.

Started getting out my fliers, and ads for the tutoring business I'm trying to get off the ground. It feels good.

I wrote a letter/article that I plan to edit and send to HBO--I already sent one in like May and didn't even get a stupid for letter like others who have sent 'Bring Back Carnivale' letter, but I will persevere! I'm kinda proud of it , you can check it out on the Carnivale HBO thread if you want. I'd be swell if some of you could tell me what you think!

I did quite a bit of my Statistics homework tonight. I'm suppose to do questions from 3 chapters (and each chapter has 3-4 sections) complete a worksheet and complete Project #1- which is a bunch of data you have to put into a bunch of different charts and then analyze the data.

I did the first chapter of questions, the worksheet and half of project 1. At least I feel accomplished

I made 3 doctor appointments for my mom.
I went to my worship design meeting for shurch. I haven't been in 2 months.
I joined a classical choir! I haven't sung in one in 2 years, and I missed the first 2 rehearsals due to my own illness and then my uncle's death. So I called the director, explained my dilemma, drove 45 minutes to the music store to get the scores, and went to rehearsal tonight. Oh, and I had told the director on the phone I wanted to audition for solos, so he had me sing for him after rehearsal. He wants me to come early next week and told me to prepare some other pieces.

That's implied in the "all that is man" thing.

Saturday I bought lots of new clothes, including two tops that I fell in love with, but was a little unhappy with the fit. Regardless I bought them because I know that I am losing weight.

I don't know if I was just being extremely hard on myself or if I was bloated or something (which is quite possible)...

but I am wearing it right now and it looks GREAT! I am sooooooooooooo happy right now! I feel so good. So so so good! And it's only going to get better.

Today I took the fan blades off of 5 ceiling fans, cleaned them and put them back up w/o falling off the ladder. Smoking and checking on ribs all day *hot*. Took out 3 a/c units *heavy* and put them in storage. Sorted and put away 6 laundry baskets of clothes.

Oh and still no cure for PMS yet

Oh, I was so excited for everyone else, I forgot my own accomplishments!

I scheduled flu and pneumonia shots for my parents, as well as a shingles vaccine for my dad

I scheduled a CT scan and a doctor's appointment for my dad.

I scheduled an appointment for MYSELF with the lung doctor. I still need to make about 6 more appointment for me, including pneumonia, flu and maybe shingles vaccine.

I am printing off some stuff for the business I am trying to start. Except the printer keeps spewing it all onto the floor.
I stripped the sheets from my mom's bed and washed them.
I wiped down the toilet with these new bacteria-killing wipes.
I washed another 2 loads of laundry and the aide folded one for me. Only 4 more loads to fold.
The aide also gave my mom a shower, got her dressed, put clean sheets on her bed, dusted, vaccuumed, mopped all the floors and cleaned the bathroom.
I swept up all the dead bees from the laundry room floor. (the aide only cleans the main floor).
I emptied the litter box.
My dad and I were in his workshop - I went through a box of junk and separated it into what gets donated and what gets trashed.
I emptied the trash in my room.

Wow, I am tired just looking at that list!!! I got a lot done today!!! Now I am going upstairs to make potato pancakes for dinner. And sandwiches.

Also, I elect O-h to start organizing The Celebrity Office Message Board Race For the Cure Against PMS and Other Female Hormonal Disorders That Affect Moods.

I'll run with the 80 year olds.

Cut down majorly on the intake of salt & white starches & increase the intake of water. Retaining to much salt & white starch foods is what causes bloating.
