I know this is a hard time right now for everyone. Believe me I want to smack Belle's pretty head so bad and I want to hold Shawn and comfort him but don't give up. As I have said on other boards lets wait and see how things play out. There have been spoilers before where we have got angry with them and it turns out to be nothing. Remember when Shelle first got together and they were on the island spoilers said that Shawn and Belle gives into temptation. Well we all thought that they would make love. Well it didn't happen they stopped. How do we not know that won't happen now. Shawn may walk in on them just kissing. Believe me that right there makes me mad and I hope Shawn gives Belle **** for that but I still want them together. I don't want Belle with Philip. I don't want Shawn with Chloe. I do not want to see another quad with Shawn/Belle/Philip/Chloe. We have been there and done that except Shawn was with Mimi. Yes I want to see Belle realize she made a bad and BIG mistake. I want to see her kick Philip out of her life and prove how sorry she is to Shawn and her love. We saw Shawn go downhill last year around this time. I believe that we are now seeing that with Belle and if it is then the only way for Belle to go is back up and to find that her true love and her place in life is with Shawn and Claire.

I guess I am just trying to cheer some of you up including myself. I have rooted for Shelle since June of 2000 when I started watching Days. Shelle is the reason why I started watching Days just like for some of you long time Bope fans Bope was the reason you started watching Days and I am not going to give up now. We have to stick together and get each other through this so we can see a Shelle together in the end.

Great post!! I know, who i am i kidding. I will never give up on Shelle. I believe in them. I just dont know how they can redeem my beloved Belle after this spoiler. Please for the love of God, i dont want Belle with Philip.. and i dont want another quad story if they bring Chloe back. I am annoyed by her return if that is true she is coming back. I dont want her with Shawn. I dont want to endure another quad story.

I just dont see why the writers are doing this to Shelle... and MM and BB they are amazing as Shelle. Fun, flirtatious, sweet, romantic.. the dialogue on Monday was so wonderful and portrayed great by MM and BB and you could feel the love between the characters because of these two actors that play so naturally off of each other. I just dont understand why they are going down the Phelle road again when it didnt work the first time. And i dont think just because Philip is being portrayed by JKJ that all of sudden Phelle is going to work. God, i hate Phelle.

I really want Shelle to Prevail. I love them... especially since BB and MM have made them the BEST!!

Hey Lori! Congratulations on the arrival of your little miracle!!! I so admire your spirit and dedication....I never, EVER thought I would be turning my back on my all time favorite couple. But the facts are the facts....We've had Belle ping-ponging back and forth for months. We've watched her railing at Shawn while forgiving Phil continuously. We've watched her blame Shawn for everything and yet all is forgiven with Phil. We've watched her make promise after promise to Shawn about her loyalty and committment. We've watched her continuously put Phil's needs ahead of Shawn's. This "beginning to make love" isn't even about the act as it is that she cares so little about this man; that she would hurt him so deeply.

I have no doubt that in several weeks we'll be getting some scenes that will be about stringing us along for even more disappointment and disrespect. I think it is imperative that we let our voices be heard by TPTB, the mags, the viewing public and anyone else who will listen. They've pushed us to far IMO and they've pushed Shelle (ESPECIALLY Belle!) to a point of unrecognizeablity.

I swear, i agree with you whole heartedly about everything you said. Belle has been slowly destroyed. I am so sickened by it. I am going to write some letters, emails and such. I swear, Shelle isnt recognizable. You are right. Well, Shawn is still the same. Pining away for the woman he loves only to have her be naive and hurtful. I am so tired of the way that Belle is written. I am tired of the bipolar writing. Why have such a wonderful redeeming couple of scenes where it looked as though Shelle was FINALLY getting stronger and then write some crap about Phelle almost making love?!! Disgusting. I am tired of Belle taking psycho Philips side and i am tired of the way the Belle is being written as treating Shawn. I am so tired of it all. I dont know, i just love BB and MM so much, i wish i didnt have to feel this way. They are really wasting the magic and chemistry that BB and MM have together. I dont see it with JKJ and i dont see it being reasonable that the character of Belle would want anything to do with Philip and why she would hurt and destroy Shawn. The writers totally write her as bipolar. One minute she is telling Shawn all this great stuff, talking about him with Adrienne and anyone who will listen how he saved her and protects her and she is sooo happy he chose her.. and then write her to kiss Philip.. again. And to have her almost make love to him. Its so inconsistent and frustrating. I dont know what to do.

That's just it and shows how little respect TIIC have for our fanbase and for this couple! There is no reason on earth that would have a woman going from one extreme to another, completely contradicting herself minute to minute. That's not about her being naive or about her not knowing what she wants. That's about lazy writing! It infuriates me!!!

I guess TPTB saw chemistry between JKJ and MM and said 'hey they have chemistry lets screw both fanbases'. IMO there are more Shelle fans then Phelle fans. They are more Philip fans and Shelle fans that want Shelle together and Philip away from Shelle. Thats what most fans want right there. But TPTB are not giving us or any fans on this show what they want. Look at Jarlena for example. Fans have been writing to the mags that they want Jarlena and they are killing off John. TPTB don't care about giving the fans what they want anymore.

There's a part of me that will never give up on Shelle. MM and BB were magic! They made me totally buy in to their reconnection on the island and fall head over heals in love with Shelle all over again. Deep down I'll always want Shelle to prevail.

At this point Belle's character has just been destroyed too far. I can't look past that. It's a very sad time for Shelle fans right now. I don't have words to express my disappointment.

Oh believe me, I am not ready to give up. Hope slept with Patrick and I still really wanted Bope to be together... Belle doesn't have sex with Phillip, right? They get close... that really sucks, but hey, it's a soap, and if this is all that HS can come up with then that's what it is for now. In November I truly believe that Shelle will be married. And Belle won't be regretting walking down that isle this time!!

Excellent point!!! Somehow, someway we all were able to forgive Hope and root for her to be with her one true love! It was beyond disappointing and insulting to fans of Bope, but the couple survived and are stronger now than ever! What's not to say the same can't be done for Shelle!?

Exactly! And Belle and Phillip actually do not make love, right? So it isn't that bad... even though Hope and Bo were "seperated" and Belle and Shawn are not... Every couple has these things thrown at them. I don't think this will ruin our couple!

Ok, so they did do the deed. I know this sucks so much, but we love Shelle and we can't stop wanting them together! Shelle fans please do not give up, this couple was meant to be together and this terrible horrible ridiculous writing can't ruin it. I won't stop wanting them to be happy together. I am trying very hard to search for the light at the end of this dark tunnel for Shelle.

I really want for Shelle to prevail. But, the writers are rewriting history of Belle and Phillip's miserable marriage and how they would stay together if Phillip didn't walk out on Belle. I am just SICK over it.

I want Belle to stop kissing/being with Phillip.

I just hate this.

I will only give up on Shelle if the s/l continues down this path of Belle NOW is in love with Phillip. No more Shelle, no more DAYS for me.

Sorry guys I have I can't take wishy-washy Belle any longer. I say Shawn needs to move on she is not worth it. The writing for this couple has sucked since they recasted Belle and I am not a fan of the new actress.
