Today, October 11th, is a very sad day for Shelle fans because it marks the day many of us were finally forced to give up our love and devotion to Shelle after all these years. BB and MM are a goldmine Hogan is choosing to toss aside in the name of promoting the old, worn out triangle of Shelle/Phelle.

We watched in shock and sadness as Belle allowed Phlip to kiss her on the lips, smiled, and then blew it off as "no big deal". Then we were hit with the news more kissing and near love making is yet to come.

Many of us have given up on Shelle with the destruction of Belle, and IMO the saddest part is we all know what BB and MM had to offer. We saw the magic. We smiled when they flirted, we celebrated when they were happy, we cried when they were struggling. Now I cry because Belle has been destroyed to a point where I can no longer root for Shelle. Shawn D deserves so much better, and all I can hope is for him to make it out of this SL with his character still in tact.

Despite where Shelle is heading now, we all have fond memories of what Shelle was and what they could've been. Lets mourn the loss together, and then lets keep chatting Shelle and celebrating the memories.

This is soooo beautiful, Michelle!! I'm crying right now as I type . Why HOgan has decided to destroy the couple that I have rooted for for nine and a half years is totally beyond me???? I never thought I would ever say this, but I can no longer support Shelle.......I'm choking up here, almost couldn't even get myself to type that. This truly is a sad day for Shelle fans .

I can't believe I've been forced to give up on the magic that is Brandon Beemer(Shawn)/Martha Madison(Belle) and their AMAZING chemistry!! They've given us some very wonderful memories that I will cherish forever . I only wish TIIC wouldn't make these two awesomely talented people go to waste by reducing their characters to nothing!! I want our Shelle back!

I was in IM today with cam, and we were discussing the possibility of Hogan bringing an end to Shelle for good. I actually shed a few tears. I don't think I've ever taken the end of a soap couple this hard, EVER. I was head over heals for BB and MM's Shelle. I bought their reconnection on the island hook line and sinker. I can't believe Hogan took Belle in this direction. I"m so sad over the loss of Shelle. To me they're done. Shawn D just doesn't know it yet.

Poor Shawn!! I think that's what upsets me the most.......he's so hopelessly devoted and in love with Belle, but he's about to get his heart broken in the most horrible way . I just can't believe HOgan is taking Belle in this direction?????? It makes absolutely no sense!

You are right. Letting them go is going to be the hardest part. I don't want to give them up, but I can't bring myself to support them at this point either. I don't even know what Hogan could do at this point to make it better.

I don't want to give up on them either, but after reading that sick, horrible spoiler for the week of 10/22, there is just no way I can support Shelle anymore........Belle is just absolutely DESTROYED! What is there that HOgan can do that would even begin to make this up to all the Shelle fans who were forced to give up on their couple????? I'm not even sure .

Hogan has destroyed, and after reading this new spoiler about Phelle start making love, I'm sry I just can't take it no more! Hogan you have took a great Show and made it the worst show in hte history on daytime...and the rating prove it! I *ucking hate you Hogan!

I do think it is absolutely vital that we send emails, letters, post cards, etc. to the studio and mags to let them know just how far destroyed this couple is for us.

I woke up this morning and started thinking about how I couldn't believe that my favorite couple are done . I'm so sad for what HOgan has reduced our couple to.......Belle doing a complete 180 by "beginning" to make love with Philip and breaking Shawn's heart, the person whom we were lead to believe by Belle was her soulmate and one true love!

This just sickens me to no end.......I want our couple back!

I know exactly what you mean cam! I've been a Shelle fan from the very beginning......eight long years of holding out for everything to work out for them. What Hogan has done to Shelle is a waste of all those years of rooting for Shelle to make it every single time something got in their way, not to mention he's wasting the amazing talents of Brandon and Martha! What is this show being reduced to?????

I'm definitely going to be sending out emails everywhere letting it be known how Hogan has disappointed all the Shelle fans.

Yea right now i'm through with them, but i'm still keeping an open mind! IF Belle proves herself, and leaves Philip alone forever, I'm will give her another shot, but until then, I don't even want to see her on my screen!

Cam, you are right. We need to bombard TPTB with letters and emails letting them know how sad and disappointed we are that they have ruined such a fabulous couple. They need to know that they are driving a whole fanbase away.

Deep down inside there's a very small glimmmer of hope that maybe Hogan will pull a miracle out of his hat and somehow save Belle's character and that we'll have the stronger Shelle we were all hoping for. There's that part of me that just doesn't want to let go. Then there's the realistic me who doesn't see what Hogan could do to make this better. I was hanging on by a thread hoping Hogan would have Belle kick Philip out of her life acter October 19th, but instead we get them "almost" making love. That she's even in the same room with Philip after the 19th disgusts me!

What the ***** is wrong with these writers?? Is this beyond ridiculous. I cant stomach this show anymore. I am so sickened by the new spoiler. Why the heck in God's name would Belle start to make love to Philip?? This is sooo sickening and disheartening and i want to cry. Boy, i am pathetic. lol. How can the story even go this way? I am soooo writing to everyone possible to let my feelings be known. Honestly, Brandon and Martha are AMAZING and i cant see why the would destroy Belle and lose the hot chemistry that BB and MM create onscreen. I cant believe they are done. I mean, how can Shelle bounce back from this betrayal? And why would the writers and TIIC rewrite history and destroy everything? I mean, come on, the characters are being destroyed and i am so tired of Shawn getting the brunt of all the stupid garbage writing. And why do they insist on wasting Martha... ugh. And the chemistry, the fun, the love, the passion that BB and MM portray as Shelle?!

Oh, I agree that we'll be getting our little scraps that are supposed to give us hope enough to hold on.....They need to know that they've pushed us all away! They need to know that they've destroyed something we all help out for 8 years for. They need to know that although they've depended and used our devotion to this coupling we aren't going to accept scraps anymore IMO! They need to know we're pizzed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sad thing Michelle is its just not our fanbase its every fanbase on the show. Bope, Steve and Kayla, Lumi, us, Jarlena. I really feel for the Jarlena fans. They have been rooting for their couple for 20+ years and look what they are doing to John. TPTB, Days, Martha, Brandon, the mags, will be getting a letter from me this weekend about how ****** I am with not just Shelle but the whole show. There is not one character or couple for me to root for on this show right now because of how they are being written.

We dont know if Shelle are going to break up...so there is hope. I personally dont think they will. Its just a matter if WE are done with Shelle because of Belle's total lack of respect for her relationship.

LOL, omg I was so confused there for a second. I usually can determine who is posting what by their banners/avitars, I rarely look at the screenname....I was like, wait, what? Who is who? lol you girls are killin me here!

I am totally about the whole show and not just one or two couples. I've been a general fan of the show for 25+ years. That said, I have to disagree with you that there's no one left to root for. My current favorite couples, which are subject to change with the writing, are Shelle, Lumi, S&K, and Bope. I'm not happy with the direction they're taking Lumi, but I do enjoy watching the Lum/EJ scenes. It's still very obvious to me that Sami still loves Lucas with all her heart, which makes that SL tolerable for me. They are being pulled apart by Sami's percieved need to protect her family, not by lack of love or one being torn. Lumi is still highly rootable for me. Bope and S&K have been getting some awesome stuff lately. Bo and Hope are back in action instead of sitting around reading letters. S&K are possibly gearing up for a custody battle with Philip. Both of those couples are enjoyable to watch right now and highly rootable.

The Jarlena fans have very good reason to be upset and of course the John fans. They've been screwed over more than anyone. We Shelle fans have good reason to be upset. I don't think the whole show is screwed though and I think much of it is still enjoyable. That is must my opinion of course.

ITA, it's totally a question of how much we're willing to put up with. At this moment I can't root for Shelle because I can't stand the way Belle is disrespecting Shawn right now. It's going to take a mighty big breakdown for Belle to be able to redeem herself this time and for me to root for Shelle again.

The Jarlena fans have been abused the most of all of the fanbases. They've been promised a huge storyline for over a year and never got one, but had John in a coma for months and now dead. They've really been jerked around.

I feel like Shelle fans come in second for the most abused fanbase along with Lumi.

The Bope fans and Doug and Julie fans have also been screwed with this year, although things seem to be getting better atleast for Bope! S&K got tons of screen time compared to the others but were given a hateful storyline! I like the direction this Tyler storyline could go. And Phil fans have gotten NOTHING for him worthy of the actor or the character, but things are looking up with Tyler and Chloe coming into his life!!!



Total rock bottom groveling is the only thing I can see making any significant impact on me as far as how I feel about Belle and the way she treats Shawn.
